Chapter 14: 5.2
"Towel, box lunch, slippers, toothbrush, cup," Jimin listed the things they needed for the admittance guide while the boys checked the bags carefully. Seokjin prepared their coats since it's in the middle of January so the weather was still a little bit cold.
"Alright!" the young human closed the book excitedly, "we're ready for your new official nursery school!" he raised his hands and the boys shouted happily together. Seokjin chuckled, amazed by how Jimin handled the kids and turned the tense atmosphere to something fun.
Lately, Jimin often came to their place, be it for a simple greeting or with hotpot ingredients, that make them end up eating together with them. The younger male also brought a lot of games to play them together with Taehyung, Jungkook, and Seokjin. The pink haired human helped Seokjin every Sunday night when he works at Moonbyul's place.
"Thank you, Jimin-ah," he said when they walked out of the apartment. Seokjin locked the door and walked behind while Taehyung and Jungkook walked several steps ahead from them.
Jimin grinned brightly to him, "don't mind me hyung! I also have a little brother at home. Taehyung and Jungkook are adorable, I do this because I love them, " the young man referred to the little hybrids.
"Appa! Hurry up!" Taehyung called, already at the end of the corridor and pressing the elevator button impatiently, "we don't want to be late today!"
"Okay okay!" Seokjin shouted back, walking a little bit fast with Jimin beside him, and stepped inside the elevator. The human volunteered to help him since he would go with two huge bags and two little kids using the train. Two adults would be safer than him alone, not to mention how Taehyung loves to wander alone and Jungkook's hyperactive state.
"Right, hyung," Jimin whispered softly when they entered the elevator, Seokjin humming as a reply, "I know this sounds a little bit rude..." he rubbed the back of his neck.
"I'm not going to bite you for asking several questions, Jimin. Tell me what's wrong?" Seokjin teased him.
Jimin blushed, the elevator dinged and the door slid open, "since I don't see their mom," he said while stepping out from the small moving room, the kids went first while the adults walked slower, "I assume you're single ?"
Seokjin could felt a cold sweat on his back. He never really tell Jimin about their background. The human man must be thinking he was the real father of the kids, the pink haired human might be thinking he was a tiger hybrid while his 'wife' was bunny hybrid and the children inherited it differently.
"Well …" Seokjin smiled awkwardly. In fact, he felt bad for Jimin, "I'm single-"
Before he can explain further, Jimin beamed with happiness. He didn't have the heart to speak more than this because the man seemed so happy when he heard it, "I guess we should take the boys to the nursery school first, I'm free after this, let's go to a nearby cafe, kay?"
Jimin accepted it of course.

"Hi, handsome boys!" Hoseok waved. Taehyung's tail wagged side to side and Jungkook's ears stiffened in anticipation.
Hoseok grinned, pulling a few magic tricks he knew so well, earning loud claps and happy laughs from the children, "my name is Jung Hoseok but your future friends call me J-Hope~"
"Don't trouble Hoseok, 'kay?" Seokjin warned both of the kids, Taehyung and Jungkook grinned at him. The older hybrid handed the bags to Hoseok, "please take care of them patiently, Hobi-ah."
"Aye aye, appa ~"Hoseok stood behind the children with his baby blue apron, "we're going to have a lot of fun here!" he patted Taehyung's head, and the tiger hybrid replied with a boxy grin.
Both Jungkook and Taehyung already knew about Hoseok, they often listened to Seokjin when he had a phone call from the human. Seokjin also told them that the man was his childhood friend just like Yoongi, who they haven't meet yet.
Hoseok smiled like a ray of sunshine, bright and heart-warming. The kids loved him already so Seokjin didn't need to deal with sulking tiger and bunny that refused to stay at the daycare until evening.
Hoseok eyed Jimin curiously, the younger man bowed politely to Hoseok. The older human smirked to Seokjin wickedly, he mouthed, ' you cheater ' Seokjin rolled his eyes, ' we were never dating, you never had enough courage to ask me out ' the older hybrid replied. Jimin tilted his head to one side, feeling pissed because he couldn't read lips.
"Let's go Jimin," Jimin's heart hammered his chest and he nodded a little bit too fast, Seokjin chuckled lightly when Jimin's face turned a little bit red. He needed to explain and tell the younger man his background story of the kids, oddly he felt Jimin deserved to know.
Why?
Let's say it was because Jimin cared for the children and helped him a lot.
