Chapter 4: Fear and Horror
The first screams I heard were from one of the men. The man yelled in fear as it latched itself onto him. The zombie had caught him from behind and immediately bit his throat and tore it out. The next screams I heard were from the mother and daughter. Fear and horror could be seen on their face.
"Oh God Daniel?!? Is that you?!? What are you... AHHHH!!!!".
The lady first screamed in surprise as she seemed to recognize the man who the zombie used to be, but it was immediately switched to terror as it attacked.
"What the fuck is dis?!? Get off him you filthy fucken villager!!!".
The remaining man roared angrily as he recovered himself after the shock. He lunged at the zombie, stabbing it directly in the heart. The zombie released the first man as it stood there with a sword in its chest.
"Mother fucker! This is what you get! My mug is the last you'll ever... what the hell!!! AHHHH..."".
Those were the last words the man would ever say as the zombie lunged at him, pushing the sword through its chest as if it didn't bother it. Well it is a zombie after all, a little stab in the chest should be like a paper cut.
I stood there in a stupor, unsure of what to do. I had killed 2 people... while I didn't directly do it nor did I tell the zombie to "kill" them, my command to "attack" is guilty enough. I should of realized the thing didn't know the difference... or should I say it wouldn't know when to stop attacking.
The mother was still standing in front of her daughter, pointing the knife at the zombie, tears crawling down her face. I immediately ran forward as fast as I could, yelling as I ran.
"Stop! Stop! That's enough! Stop!"
