MA-1: (O.S.)
I can do the same on Dan Hill.
BACK TO SA-1 AND PANEL CREW
PANEL CREW:
When at rest, four hours, all genes would have been converted.
SA-1:
That's good. We will send in a few hours, what ever we get, thru the RC mini craft.
PANEL CREW:
We will be expecting it.
The three immediately set to plan how they could get a tissue or liquid sample from Dan Hill and Pamela. SA-1 gesturing to MA-1 to make a call and next would be MA-2.
INT./EXT. – MOTEL AND PARK - DAY
The aliens were able to call and convince Pamela and Dan Hill to meet at a nearby park for a breakfast picnic. They duplicated money to buy food at the parks' café.
MA-1:
(to SA-1)
Why don't you just duplicate food?
SA-1:
Are you losing your common sense? If we have money they won't suspect anything – if have food but no money they might suspect something.
SA-1 distributes the money evenly among themselves . . .
SA-1: (cont'd)
Let's go. Don't take your pills so we can eat with them.
We follow the three walking eagerly to the park. Looking around to check if Dan Hill or Pamela arrived early. Into the Park cafe, they take five each of burger and bacon sandwich, five cups of coffee and five packs of chips. They proceed to one of the picnic tables.
MA-2:
This will be our first time to try their food. I wonder if their taste is like ours.
MA-1:
It smells good to me. If it smells good to them, then we've got the same taste as theirs.
Soon enough they hear the voice of Hill talking to Pamela . . .
SA-1:
Come quick before the coffee gets cold.
Both Hill and Pamela in jogging suit, move towards them. Handshakes, and a buss for Pamela they settle around the table. Pamela sits between MA-1 and SA-1 on one side.
DAN HILL:
How did you fellas come up with this breakfast picnic?
MA-2:
Oh, just to compensate for last night.
MA-2:
(to Pamela)
You could've brought along Tish.
PAMELA:
She's got a job and couldn't be late for it.
Dan Hill starts to open the bag of sandwiches after his habit of rubbing hands . . .
DAN HILL:
Let's start digging. Boy, am I hungry!
The aliens let Hill and Pamela have their food. They first watch how both eat the sandwiches. Pamela, right as she bites on her burger sandwich, notices the three intently watching them. With her mouth full and with some ketchup on the corner of her lips. . .
PAMELA:
Are you all just gonna watch us?
Caught by surprise, the three unwrap their sandwiches. Their eyes grow round with delight. Two or three gnashes at the bite, they go for the next bite.
DAN HILL:
Hey! Slow down guys! Looks like you haven't eaten in years!
MA-1:
We're used to quick meals. We wanna be full right away.
(done with his burger and opening the bacon)
MA-2 doesn't mind the talk. Bites from one sandwich then to the other, and a few chips in between bites. SA-1 too relishes the food and looks closely at the sandwich after each bite.
PAMELA:
Oh my God! It would be difficult to be married to anyone of you! You gobble up food as if there's no tomorrow!
At last they're done. The aliens still smacking and licking their lips around, just for the taste of it. Dan Hill stands, looks and walks around stretching his arms in different directions and twisting his torso. The aliens suddenly realize they have to get a tissue or liquid from the two humans. An opportunity comes, some leaves fall on Pamela's hair. Quickly, MA-2 goes to her before she was about to brush it away. . .
MA-2:
Let me do that for you . . .
In eagerness he yanks about four strands of her hair and quickly pockets them.
PAMELA:
OUCH! Take the leaves out but not my hair! You idiot!
MA-2:
Ooops, sorry . . . I guess I don't have good eyesight…
SA-1 looks meaningfully at MA-2 for his clumsiness. Meanwhile, MA-1 watches Hill and looking also for an opportunity, at times looking up the trees for falling leaves. Hill was brushing up his hair with his fingers… MA-2 goes to him . . .
MA-1:
Let me do that for you . . .
Before Hill can react, MA-1's hand goes over his hair yanks more than MA-2 did. Hill staggers backward.
DAN HILL:
WHY YOU, STINKIN' ASSHOLE! ARE YOU GAY? YOU ALMOST TOOK MY SCALP OFF!
(brushes his hair; checks his hand)
SA-1 still seated, one elbow on the table, puts the base of his palm on his forehead for the clumsiness of the two. He gets up and summons the two . . .
SA-1:
Let's go back to the room before someone else gets hurt. Besides we're expecting a phone call, don't we?
Hill with his hand still on his head . . .
DAN HILL:
Fine with me, anyway I have to see some people. . . Pam, are you coming with me?
Showing indecision, because of the aliens' awkwardness . . .
PAMELA:
Ya, ya, I'm going with you. I might not live long if I stay with them.
Circumstances favoring them, as they walk backwards – waving to the two . . .
MA-2:
We'll give you a call once we're done with our business.
Dan Hill with his back turned to them puts up one hand . . .
DAN HILL:
SUIT YOURSELF!!!
Pamela looks back at the three, in regret for their behavior.
INT. – BACK IN THEIR MOTEL ROOM
MA-1 and MA-2 dig in their pockets for the precious hairs. Carelessly, they put the hairs in one place. Coincidentally, the strands of hair were almost of the same length and color.
SA-1:
(looking up)
This is the third blunder in less than an hour.
MA-1:
Not so, Pamela's is longer.
SA-1:
Look for your self. You snapped the hair of Pamela and happens to be as short and same color of Dan's.
MA-1 and MA-2 look closely, then look at each other meaning they did it again.
SA-1:
We have no time to fret over that. There's no excuse or reason for us to get something from them again.
