Chapter 2: Ch 2

My life in military college wasn't that hard due to the fact that I was a natural born kryptonian, with my extra time after college I decided to increase my knowledge of science and other technologies, morning was for combat training and evenings for learning science and technology. This all continued till I was 12 years old, this year was the luckest year of my life because I was engaged to the love of my life Fol Eg-Vor. We met in science department when I was 9, she was the only daughter of Eg-Vor of the house of Vor. Vor's were one of the house that fled with the royal family during the rebellion they were supportive of natural born Kryptonians thus she was like me a natural born kryptonian which enhanced her beauty to a hole new level, her family was responsible for science related things in the space rift. Our love was accepted by both our families and thus we were engaged when we were 12. After our engagement nothing major changes happened. When I was 15 I joined the Royal Army under my father's command, my job wasn't that hard but I always wanted to know or see how was Krypton, I would always ask those who have been there but they couldn't tell me enough until I was 19. One day my father called me in his office and told me that they were sending me and my fiance with the codex and some soldiers outside the rift because Krypton was going to be destroyed in a month or so and the blast would destroy the gate between the rift they couldn't send more people's or the location of the rift will be detected by the Braniac and he won't let any original natural born kryptonian to live that may become a threat to him in the future and they knew it all because some general in Krypton was convening the soldiers that if they didn't do anything they would die in vain thus planning a rebellion against the council because of their ineffectiveness to save Krypton. My father wanted me to command this force and escape from this disaster with codex before anyone find us and for the continuation of our race. I accepted this and our trip were to start in a week. I was provided with a teem of 20 kryptonians, 10 were my batch mates from military, 4 engineers and 6 scientists from the same class batch of Fol Eg-Vor all of them were artificially created through codex maximizing their loyalty toward the Royal family that is me. They were chosen because they were around our age making many things easier for us, we were given 3 ships a new military aircraft, a aircraft with genises chamber and a military heavyload aircraft with world engine and other important necessaries and materials for the long trip. Our entry and exit form the rift was easy and no body detected it. We were not given any save spot to go, so I chose to go towards earth but there was a problem we didn't have a strar map of earth so we had wait for our superman aka Kal-El to guide us there we still had some news coming from Krypton that told us that General Zod was ready and would lounch a coup in a day or two. We didn't have to wait long and sure enough General Zod louched the coup next day, in order to save Kal-El, Jor-El merged the codex on Krypton with his son sending him towards earth. We didn't havd to do much, we intercepted the ships carrying Kal-El copied the star map retrieve the codex and released him. It would take a year to reach earth until then me, my fiance and other six scientists were examining the the codex that was tempered by Braniac and we came to a conclusion that Braniac has add an extra genes in to the codex that was not from any kryptonian making it a deadly weekness for kryptonian born through it, Kal-El did have that weekness from his parents despite being naturally born but it wasn't as deadly as others but by merging his DNA with the codex increased it's dedliness by ten fold.
