Chapter 25: Mio's Decision, And Shiho's Fate
In the morning, Shinji once again went to the bathroom, to see a message he received from the person he called, which contained the information he asked for, and to tell Shinji that they completed what he asked them for. Satisfied, Shinji, as he said, started a party once again at 12:00 AM.
Half an hour later, Shinji noticed someone coming into the pool area, which made him smirk but made his classmates stop what they were doing and frown.
Why? Because that person was none other than Mio Ibuki, the same girl who his classmates know that betrayed them in the survival test, and they also think she's responsible for setting their camp on fire.
"What the hell is she doing here!?" shouted Ken in anger
"It's fine, Sudo. I allowed her to come. You all can continue to party, while I talk to her" Shinji said, and raised the volume of the music, making his classmates to return doing what they were doing, and then stood up, and approached Mio, who was still standing by the entrance to the pool area
"Hi, Ibuki-San! Did you come here to have fun?" he asked with a grin
"You know I didn't. I assumed that I was considered as one of the other students who's allowed to enter, and wanted to talk to you about your offer"
"Unfortunately, I can't talk to you right now. I told you guys yesterday, that I'm not talking about school-related things during the party"
"Then don't talk. Just answer my questions"
"...I guess I can make an exception for you since you're finally willing to answer my offer"
"You're the one who ended the six groups' tests, right?"
"Yes"
"... And you said that you'll crush Ryuen, and give me the leadership of class C"
"Well, you won't stay class C for long, but I will make you one of the leading figures in your class"
"And you won't target our class?"
"As long as the majority of your class aren't supporting Ryuen"
"And how is that going to happen? Even if we lose in this test, it still won't be enough to sway my classmates. It'll only make a few students doubtful"
"You think I don't know that? Taking Ryuen down won't happen in a day, you know? We will start sway students to your side, after the next test, where Ryuen will probably resort to violence"
"You think he'll attack you during a test? Are you an idiot?"
"Not directly at least. Considering the nature of the next special test, he'll have plenty of opportunities to hurt me indirectly. However, to do that, he'll have to damage your class's chances to win the test"
"You're saying you know what the next special test is?"
"Who knows? You'll know only if you decide to accept my offer"
"... Can you ensure that Ryuen won't hurt me?"
"He won't even know that you did something..." Shinji said with a smirk
"...Fine. I'll accept the offer"
"Great! I'll be in contact with you soon, so be on alert. I'll also arrange a meeting with the ones within your class that will help you"

Shiho was now in a certain place on the ship, where there were no cameras. She was told to come here by an anonymous message, who stated that he knows how to execute the perfect revenge on Kei, and told her to come here, so they could talk.
Then, she heard steps from around the corner. As the steps got closer, she heard a male's voice says:
"Shiho Manabe. 16 years old. A daughter to a single mom, Saori Manabe, who worked on numerous jobs throughout the last 15 years, so she could support her daughter" said the voice
"How do you know about my mother???" asked Shiho in anger
"It doesn't matter how I know. What matters is..." said the voice, and finally revealed himself, and Shiho recognized him. It was Shinji Ayanokoji, from class D. She knew he was Kei's boyfriend, so she asked:
"You're the one who texted me?"
"I am"
"You're joking, right? You want to help me take revenge on your girlfriend?"
"Of course not. That was just an excuse to make you come here" Shinji said with a smirk
"What the hell? Then I'm leaving!" said Shiho, and started to walk away, but Shinji gripped her arm tightly, hurting her. When he grabbed her arm, she noticed he wore black leather gloves on his hands.
"What are you doing!? You're hurting me!"
"You've done a big mistake, Manabe-San. And now, you're going to pay for it" said Shinji, and took out a phone that wasn't the student ID out of his pocket, and started to play a video.
The video started, with the camera constantly moving as the person who had it walked, making her assume that the camera was on the person's glasses. Then, something came into view that shocked Shiho. The person looked to the side and the camera showed her mother's house
"What the hell is this!?" said Shiho, starting to feel scared a little
"Shut up and watch!" said Shinji with a cold tone that scared Shiho, so she returned to look at the video.
The person approached the door and knocked on it. The person waited a few seconds, and then her mother opened the door
"Yes? How can I help you?" asked Saori
"Hello, Ms. Manabe. I was your daughter's junior in her school" a female voice said, and Shiho realized it was the person with the glasses.
"What a lovely young lady you are. What can I do for you?"
"I heard that Manabe-Senpai started to attend at Tokyo Metropolitan, so I wanted to ask you about the registration process since I'm planning to try to attend there next year!" said the female
"Is that so? Then come in. I'm sure we can talk about it on a cup of tea" said Saori, and turned her back to the female, and started to walk back inside, intending on leading the girl inside.
Shiho heard the sound of the door closing behind the female, and then, she looked horrified as she saw the female's hand, who had the same glove as Shinji had on it, holding a syringe in her hand. She saw the female inserting the syringe into her mother's neck, and saw how her mother fainted, and the video ended.
Shiho was horrified, as Shinji whispered in her ear:
"Don't worry. This time, the poison wasn't deadly. However, if you don't want that in the next time for the poison to be deadly, you'll listen to everything I'll tell you to do"
"H-How do I know that it's not fake??"
"I can assure you it's not. Tomorrow, your homeroom teacher will call you, and tell you that you're mother is being hospitalized, and that will be my proof. Of course, I'm sure you know what will happen to your mother if you tell someone about me or the video. Am I clear?"
Shiho could only nod, as her eyes looked lifeless
"Now, you'll return to your room, and you'll act as if everything is normal. Tomorrow, after you'll speak to the teacher, you'll apologize to Kei in front of your group. Only when I heard that you apologized, I'll contact you again. As long as you'll listen to what I say, I won't hurt your mother. Now go" said Shinji, and Shiho left
The thoughts that were in Shiho's mind, were thoughts that clung to the possibility that he's lying. However, those thoughts will get crushed the next day, by her homeroom teacher.

After Shiho left, Shinji called the same person he called last night
"Well? Did it work?" asked the person
"Yes. You did a great job"
"Hi hi hi... Shinji-Nii complimented me..." the person said with joy
"Did you got rid of the camera?"
"Yep! Burned it to ashes!"
"Good. Don't bother to call this number anymore. I'll probably contact you on THAT day, and if I'm lucky, I might even manage to come and see you"
"But I thought it was forbidden for you to leave the campus"
"It was also forbidden to contact outsiders, but here we are talking. Good night"
"Good night, Shinji-Nii!!" the person said, and Shinji hanged up
'Now, I have all the pieces to take down Ryuen...' Shinji thought as he threw the phone to the sea
