Deeper than ever before
Steve hurried into the cave to look for anything he could salvage. Luckily, his pickaxe was ok. The only mineral that was fine was coal. All other stuff, burned in lava.
It was ok, though. Steve is in a mineral-rich cave system. Not long afterwards, he replaced all his lost stuff. The voice decided to do some research about these minerals.
Steve waited until night-time. The voice finally came back. "Ok, the silver coloured bars is called iron. I knew it!". Steve rolled his eyes, in his mind. He listed all the others correctly too. From gold to diamond.
"There's just one more to find. But we have to be in an extreme hills biome to mine it. Although, we already traded using it,". Steve assumed that the voice was talking about emeralds. "I'm talking about emeralds,".
Using diamonds, he crafted the strongest pickaxe in the overworld. He built a railway system to the lava. Steve was advised by the voice to get some blast resistant obsidian using lava. Steve poured water on the lava and formed some black blocks. It took forever to mine them. The voice made Steve mine enough of them to make a room.
At the house, Steve finished building a blast resistant room. The voice accidently "right-clicked" while Steve was holding a flint and steel. Purple swirling thin blocks appeared out of thin air.
The voice's response to the situation? "I can't wait to explore the new nether update,". Steve heard of the nether. It was a terrible place. It was so hot that water will disappear. It was so cursed that you explode when you sleep. Clocks and compasses would stop working properly.
What's worse is that the nether has dangerous hostile monsters. A very powerful one is summoned with the right resources obtained from the nether.
"I guess this is the portal room,". Suddenly, a humanoid pig came through the portal. It started attacking Steve
