Chapter 35: Jae ho
*next day
I woke up and saw Jimin was not by my side. I refreshed and went out. I saw him in the kitchen. He stood there shirtless.
"What are you doing?" I asked him. He got startled.
"Sorry. Now tell."
"I was just trying to make breakfast for you, but I think I'm not quiet good at it." He said scratching his head.
"It's ok. At least you made an effort and attempted it." I said pinching his cheeks.
"Now, what do we do for breakfast?" He asked.
"I'll make it. Don't worry." I said and put some pancake batter and stirred everything.
I heated a pan and started pouring it and flipping it.
Soon, I finished all and were ready to eat.
*knock knock
"I'll go get it." I said and went.
I opened and saw a familiar guy.
"What can I do for you?" I asked him.
"Is Jimin in there? Jimin?" He called him from out.
"Just come in." I said and closed the door.
I've seen this guy that day near the studio when we came back from the shop.
"Jae ho? What are you doing here?" Jimin's voice grew angry.
"I came to see you. Here, this is for you." He handed me something.
"No thanks. I don't need it." I said and went over to Jimin.
"So, who's this?" I asked.
"He's a friend of mine." Jimin said.
"Jimin, you really didn't tell her who you are?" He said.
"I don't need to, cause I didn't do anything wrong in it. You were the one who did it." He said tightening his fist.
I held onto his hand. I didn't want him to feel that pain again.
"I'll tell. He actually was part of a crime." He said.
"What?" I said without leaving my grip on Jimin.
"Yes, he and I murdered someone. A guy who didn't listen to what we said. But then he escaped away from it and blamed me alone. I spent few years in jail but here he is, happy."
"I didn't do it. It's not true." Jimin's voice became low but he said it in anger.
"I can't believe you didn't tell me....." I paused and looked at the guy smirking. I moved forward and slapped him hard.
"... this freaking guy is still alive." I said.
Both looked shocked. Especially Jimin.
"Now get your ass out of our house, before I call the cops and get you into jail again. And one more thing, don't ever think of coming back. Next time I won't call the cops, I'll get into action. So, the door is that way." I said and stared at him until he left.
I turned over to Jimin. I cupped his cheeks and lifted his face out. Tears were flowing.
"Hey, it's ok. I know you did nothing wrong." I said and kissed his wet cheeks. And gave him a peck on his lips.
"How did you know?"
"Actually after that day, when you hurt yourself, I asked Tae and kookie what had happened. I described that person and they showed his picture. Then I knew it was him. They said that he had committed a crime but you were a witness. You complained about him and the cops caught him red handed and got arrested. And last night, I woke up and heard you talking with him. I didn't tell you I knew it cause I didn't want you to worry that you've done something wrong and I'd feel sad." I said caressing his cheeks.
"I'm sorry. I should have said it before."
"It's ok. Even if you had committed a crime, I wouldn't care, cause I love you so much. You are you. And now everything's done. Just tell me when he comes over. I'm gonna break his bones like I did before."
I said and we laughed.
"I just realised I have not beaten up anyone so far. I controlled my hands for a few days." I said and hugged him.
"Now, get up. We need to study." I said and pulled him to the room.
We started studying. I kept rubbing my eyes in between.
"Babe, are you ok? Wash your face." He said. I got up, washed my face and returned.
While coming back, I got my glasses. Those are reading glasses. I used to wear them only while reading for exams.
"Woah!!" He said.
"What?" I asked as I sat.
"You look damn hot with those specs."
"Come on." I hit him and continued.
"I'm really saying. You really are." He said.
"As you say." I said pinching his cheeks.
I felt hot, so I removed my jacket.
I lay back on the bed.
"Urghhh!!" I said frustrated.
"What happened?" He asked.
"It's so much to study. I can't do this much." I sighed.
"You can do it y/n. You can finish it."
I got up, let out a deep breath and said,
"I can. I can do it." I continued reading.
*time skip
I looked at the time. I was studying for two hours.
Jimin was not by my side. When did he go? I didn't realise it.
I got up. My legs were numb by sitting in the same place. I walked with the support of my surroundings.
I somehow reached till the staircase. I sat down by the stairs and rested my legs for sometime.
I got up and walked down. Jimin was nowhere to be seen.
"Jimin?" I called him. No response.
I went over to the kitchen and drank some water. As I came back, I saw a note on the fridge.
"Gonna buy lunch. Will be back soon."
I smiled and sat down.
*knock knock
I got up and opened the door. To my surprise, it was Lisa.
I hugged her tight.
"What are you doing here?"
"I just came to look at you."
"Where's Jungkook?"
"He's with Jimin. They both went to get lunch and thought we'd eat with you." She said.
We got in and seated ourselves.
"So how are things going between you and Jungkook?"
"Great. Everything's fine. What about you?" She said happily.
"Same here. Its going wonderful. I myself never expected to get in a relationship but now I'm with who loves me."
"Everything happens for a good."
*knock knock
"I'll go get it." Lisa said and opened.
The guys came. They kept the food on the counter.
"Refresh yourselves. Then we'll eat." I said.
I arranged everything on the table with Lisa.
"So have you done 'that'?" Lisa suddenly asked.
"'That' meaning??? Ohk... um... No..... did you??" I looked at her in shock.
She nodded her head.
"Oh my god!! Really?! I can't believe you. Lisa!!!!" I went and hugged her. I felt really happy for her.
"Don't tell anyone please."
"I won't, promise. So I do t need details, but just tell when."
"Day before yesterday, after we came home from dinner." She said.
I kept smiling at her.
The guys came back and we started eating. We chatted and laughed a lot.
"We've got exams coming up." Jungkook said sad.
"I know right. I'm just fed up studying. Even though we have two weeks holidays for the exams, I can't concentrate." Lisa said.
"What do you think we were doing? It's really so much to store in our minds. It's really difficult. I can't take it." I said.
"Yeah exactly. I gave up on studying totally." Jimin said.
Just like this we were talking random things.
We finished eating and were just sitting.
"We better get going. We've got a lot to do." Jungkook said and they both left. We bid them goodbye and went in.
I went up to my room with Jimin.
"Can we sleep for sometime?" I asked him. He nodded his head.
We lay down and I put my arms around his neck and slept. He put his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.
"You're really beautiful."
"So are you." I said and gave him a peck.
"Are you not tired?" I asked.
"No. I'm full of energy. For you."
I tightened my grip on him, opened my eyes and kissed him passionately.
I broke the kiss.
"Wow! What was that for?"
"For everything." I said and pecked him.
He kissed my forehead and I smiled and slept.
