Chapter 9: Adya Venkat
" welcome to Sunmart, wish you a happy shopping. "
A electronic voice greeted three people as they walked in to the mart and the electronic door automatically closed behind them. these three people were non other than Hari and the brother sister duo.
" I told you already don't follow us Hari, It's no longer funny, I am getting annoyed leave " said the sister as she turned towards med section of the mart and Hari walked Besides her while her brother quietly followed behind them.
" as I said before, I am not following you guys, I am just tagging along with you.... FYI I find your annoyed face adorable. " explained Hari looking at the girls face.
The little boy behind them snickered, both Hari and his sister where like this on their way to the mart, he some how found it comical. hearing her brother snicker the girl turned around and glared at him seeing his sisters glare the little boy mumbled " not fair ". the girl acted as if she did not hear his mumble.
" we have already reached the mart now can you tell me why we are here. " asked Hari with a irritated expression.
" you can just leave " said the sister coldly. getting rejected by the sister Hari turned his questioning gaze towards his little brother in law.
" I already told you I don't know, she dragged me here saying its a surprise. " said the little boy.
Soon they reached the counter, a young female staff approached the Trio and said " How may I help you sir "
" Um.. ask my wife, she dragged me all the way till here without giving me a explanation." said Hari with his head held high, as if saying ' i am just that good of a husband '
Hearing Hari the female staff turn to the Girl and said " ma'am ho... "
Before the staff could complete her sentence the Girl finally reacted and screamed" Hari!! .. who is your wife, do not speak irresponsibly. this is the last time or else or else ahh! "
Seeing the Girl scream the female staff knew she made a mistake and still professionally asked " Ma'am is this man harassing you ... would you like me to contact the cops " as she glared at Hari for deceiving her.
Hearing the female staff Hari felt a cold sweat on his back and then looked at the Girl.
The girl calmed down feeling a little embarrassed for screaming, she said " Pardon my rudeness, no you don't need to contact anyone ... he .. he is the brother of a friend of mine " the girl really did not want to recognize that she knew Hari, but thinking of Hari's sister Urvi she did otherwise.
Then staff returned to her professional smile and asked the girl " Is there anything I can assist you with.. ."
The Girl nodded and said " I am looking for Ms Indu."
" you must be Ms Adya, Ms Indu is waiting for you at her office . please follow me. " said the staff.
The Trio followed the staff into the staff elevator, the elevator stopped at the 5th floor and then trio followed the staff until they reached a fancy waiting room, then the staff turn to the trio and said " please be seated, Ms Indu will be here soon. while you are waiting would you like something to drink. " as she pored lemon water for the trio.
" no, thanks " said Adya politely.
" I heard Sunmart is famous for its Rice Potion, I would like one and another for my brother in law. " said Hari as he sat at a near by couch.
Hearing Hari the brother sister duo where speechless, the female staff glared at Hari as if he was asking for her body.
Rice Potion is a mana and energy potion, extracted from a rear kind of magic rice species. the market value of Rice Potion is 120,000 INR costlier then a mana stone as it is very beneficial for some one in Star opening realm and it is one of the Sunmarts top selling goods. The staffs 6 month salary was equal to a rice potion, no wonder the she reacted as if Hari was asking for her body.
While the room went silent, a shapely figure entered the room and said " Liya go and bring 2 rice potion for the guests and put it under my expense. "
Hearing the Voice the staff reacted quickly and said " yes, Miss " then she turned and left the room.
" Miss Indu you shouldn't, its too expensive..... " said Adya but before she could finish Ms Indu interpreted her by saying " say no more Adya, its not like you visit everyday. "
" Yes Adya, let Ms Indu be a good Host " said Hari shamelessly.
" and who might this gentleman be? " asked Indu, before Hari could speak Adya answered " he is Hari, Urvi's younger brother. "
Seeing Adya's small actions the smile on Hari's face became brighter and wider.
" I have heard great things about you from your sister, its nice to finally meet you in person Mr Hari. " said Indu politely.
" Thats unlike my sister " said Hari with doubtful eyes.
" you have good sense of humor Mr Hari " said Indu and then turn to the little boy besides Adya and said "this must be your little brother Aarav. "
Then Aarav Introduced himself " my name is Aarav Ventak, I am a 6th grader in Wodeyar middle school. my likes are video games and i dislike people calling me cute and treating me like a kid. "
" awh! you are a smart boy aren't you Aarav, your sister told me that you take good care of her and help her around the house. " said Ms indu. hearing Indu praise him Aarva's cheek red.
" So, Adya how can I help you? " asked Indu looking at Adya as she sat in a armchair.
" I .. I wanted to use your employee friends and family discount to buy a Rice potion for brother but now .. " said Adya embarrassedly.
" Oh, little brother in law, you have already located your first star you really are a genius. it took me one and half year to locate my first star. " said Hari looking at Aarav.
" Little Brother in law ? " thought Ms Indu a little puzzled but did not bother to ask further.
then the Staff from earlier came with two 50ml cylindical containers filled with colorless liquid and placed them on the table and excused herself. seeing the Staff's behavior towards Indu one can guess that the identity of Indu is not as simple as a normal staff of the Sunmart.
Without caring for others Hari picked up one of the rice potion and emptied it in a single gulp, seeing Hari's action Adya and Indu had a fright and shouted " don't..." but they were late.
Seeing their reaction Hari looked at them with a puzzled expression and asked " what? "
" are you feeling okay? " asked Adya with concern.
" don't you feel like your cell vitality expanding with in you exponentially? " asked Indu curiously.
" *burppp.... *.. No and should I be feeling like that " Hari Burped and Answered
Then suddenly Hari's eyes shone with golden light.
" Did you Just open a Life star? " said Indu with a flabbergasted expression.
Rice potion is a very potent potion, it is about 25% liquid mana. when introduced into a magic apprentices body it increase their cell vitality by 120% which than the apprentices use's to open a star. basically Rice potion is a breakthrough potion for someone in Star Opening realm, but they will have to run Basic Training Technique to refine the cell vitality in to energy to open a star. Rice potion is not some miracle drug that you take and open a star, it just increases your cell energy which can be used to open a star.
Hearing Indu the brother sister Duo looked intently at Hari.
Seeing the three look at him intently Hari answered " yes i just opened my Manyu Mind Star, its nothing I had already located it. so, it was a matter of time before I would have opened it, but thanks to Ms Indu's Rice Potion it was a little earlier than expected. "
" you are being modest Mr Hari, I guess you should have reached perfection in your Basic Training technique , Muscle control, bone control and cell control, and if I am not wrong you should have also practiced Advanced Refining Technique till perfection. otherwise you wouldn't able to open your manyu mind star while sitting on a couch. I think everything was with in Mr. Hari's calculation. " said Indu with a amazed eyes.
Indu's guess was right on spot, except it was not with in Hari's Calculation but A.Q.U.A's calculation.
On his way to the Sunmart, Hari used A.Q.U.A to learn Advanced Refining Technique,
" Files on Advanced Refining Technique Found in local hosts ram, permission to Install Advanced Refining Technique. "

Advanced Refining Technique, It allow's a Peak Magic apprentice to refine and strengthen already opened stars with in him using the cell vitality and external mana. Advanced Refining Technique is mostly used by the Peak Magic Apprentice who have failed to open a life star to break into Magic refining Realm from star opening realm. this technique is more harder and painful than Basic Training Technique.
If It was not for A.Q.U.A Hari would not be able to Open a life star while sitting on a couch. A.Q.U.A seems to have total control over every cell, organ, hormones, enzymes etc... in Hari's body only with his permissions.
Few seconds before drinking the Rice potion, Hari asked A.Q.U.A to calculate his success rate of opening the Manyu mind star without any external mana supply .
" stimulation completed, 3.333% success rate. Warning : not recommended to proceed in opening Manya mind star. "
Hari wanted to open a life star first because with the life star a magic apprentice can extract mana from his surrounding and store it in the stars, providing a continuous supply of mana to the Magic apprentice.
Then he asked A.Q.U.A to calculate his success rate of opening the Manyu mind star with the help of a Mana Stone.

" stimulation completed, 99.99% success rate. "
Seeing the result, Hari directly grabbed the Rice potion asking A.Q.U.A to prepare for opening the Manyu mind star with the help of a external Mana supply and emptied the Rice potion in a single gulp.

" you really opened your Manya life star " asked Aarav with a eyes filled yearning. even Adya was looking at Hari with questioning gaze.
" yes " replied Hari casually.
" Have you practiced your Basic Training technique , Muscle control, bone control and cell control to perfection. " asked Aarav eagerly.
" I don't like to brag but yes. " said Hari shyly. seeing shyness on Hari's face Adya rolled her eyes.
" How did you prefect Basic Training technique , Muscle control, bone control and cell control .... " asked Aarav.
Seeing her brother crossing the taboo line of the magic world Adya hurriedly said " Aarav you are being rude, apologize to Hari. "
