Chapter 1: The Begining
"Help! Help! Please! Anyone!" I cried and sobbed until my throat was raw. Up till this point in my life, I was happy, I wasn't rich but, I was loved now that was gone...all gone. If only I hadn't gone out that day, maybe I could have helped, or at least died with them. But now all I could think of was revenge, on that night I found a note saying, "For all of those that survived this fire...I will be after you soon too, you people are too dangerous for this world...Signed, Reginald Volvaria." Ever since that day I was bent on revenge however there was one thing that had made me skeptical, why was I a threat why was my whole village such a threat that someone would burn it down? I clenched the little stone that my mother gave to me when I was a small baby.
I angrily wiped my tears as I got up wondering where I would stay now that the village was gone, so I decided to walk around the forest and explore a bit, after about an hour of walking I found a little hut, so I decided to walk over to it. I knocked on the door and a girl that looked around my age perhaps sixteen or seventeen answered? "Uhm, hello? Who are you?" Asked the girl. I said" Hello, my name is Kira and- I was wondering if you could let me stay with you and your family for the night?" Her face darkened then immediately grew bright again, "Sure come on in!" she said. "You're sure that your parents won't mind?" I asked. Once again her face grew dark and in a barley audible voice she said, "I have no parents, not for a long time at least." I felt bad for the girl and wanted to say something but decided not to. When I walked inside I saw two boys sitting on a couch, watching TV and eating food. "Hey, Cam who was at the door?"Asked the boy. The girl Cam, maybe short for Cameron, Camilla or something like that said, "It's a girl, I'd say about my age she wants to stay for the night, I guess she got lost or something like that. We should let her stay." "Alright I guess she can. She can sleep on the floor with you. Hey girl, what's your name?" The boy called. "I'm Kira nice to meet you." I replied. "Hmm... Kira, nice to meet you Kira, I'm Ty, short for Tyler, the girl is Camilla, we call her Cam, and the other boy is Will, short for Wilson." "Ok, Cool" I said. Camilla then said, "Can u cook, if you can do u wanna help me prepare-" CRASH! CRACK! I looked over to asked Camilla if the sound was normal, but when I looked over she had a dark look on her face, so I looked over at the others to ask instead, however their faces were also dark and almost angry looking. The three of them suddenly burst outside.
