"Who are you?! How dare you come to Bei Xuan faction and behave so atrociously! Do you want to die?!"
Upon hearing Lu Bu's savage bellows, the residents of Bei Xuan faction came charging out, all ready to launch an attack on him.
"Stand back! Everyone, stand back! The enemy is too strong! No one is going in there!" Xiangyu shouted, swiftly stopping the group from attacking.
With Lu Bu's immense strength, they would all have died if the people really did charge forward!
"Xiangyu?" Lu Bu's eyes narrowed. "Tell that bastard of a Chen Xiaobei to come out or I'll start a massacre, I swear!"
"Xiaobei will come out, but not now! Wait here for a few minutes!" Xiangyu said.
"No!" Lu Bu refused. "I know that Chen Xiaobei is in a competition now! My mission is to kill him so that he'll lose! If I wait until he wins, my mission would have failed completely eh?!"
"Trust me, just wait a few minutes! You'll be very happy that you did!" Xiangyu said firmly.
"Haven't I said that that's impossible? Shen Gongpao has Diao Chan! I cannot wait! I cannot afford to wait!"

Xiangyu did not answer but took out a pitch black Zhenwu Combat Spear, and stood resolute among the crowds of people. Seemingly, he was about to unleash a terrifying attack.
"It looks like you do want to die!" Lu Bu swung his right arm, and manifested a powerful hand knife purely made out of Ethereal Force. "I'm only giving you three seconds. If you don't leave, you're going to die!"
Xiangyu remained silent. When it came to strength, Xiangyu was no match to the likes of Lu Bu that was before him. When it came to Qi Strength however, Xiangyu was no where near weak.
"If that's the case, then don't blame me for forgetting our past! Our two thousand years of friendship in the underworld would now be severed completely!" Lu Bu shouted, a tinge of sadness in his angry, murderous eyes.
Here, it was evident that for love's sakes, he would kill anyone in his way!

Lu Bu swung one arm, having the hand knife suddenly extending itself, and it was now pointing directly at Xiangyu's throat!
Like a spear cutting through thin air, it was definitely powerful enough to instantly kill Xiangyu!

A thundering voice suddenly shook the sombre atmosphere, coming from behind Xiangyu. The shadow of the person appeared faster than his voice and appeared in front of Xiangyu.
The person spoke in English, with both his hands raised above his head as he formed a long sword with his Lightning Ethereal Force. A blinding flash that came from the lighting flooded the entire place. That force was so powerful, it would seem that it was about to tear the whole dimension into half.
Right you are, for the person who materialized was the demigod Osnur himself!
An ominous rumble trembled the ground…
The Lighting Ethereal Force was still growing after Osnur swung his sword. From afar, it looked as if a massive Lightning Dragon had just struck down from the nine heavens, ready to annihilate every single living being that were in its sight.
"Okay. Now that is fucking powerful! Since when did we have such a powerful individual from Bei Xuan Faction?! Not to mention being foreigner as well!"
"Judging by his cultivation, I think he is a legendary demigod! I feel like that the Lightning Giant Sword he is holding is way more fearsome that real lightning!"

Shaking themselves clear of dirt and after being forced behind tens of meters, everyone could finally stand up on their feet again. Surprisingly, nobody was hurt by the powerful wind that had hit them just now. Immediately, all of their attention turned to Osnur and Lu Bu with the desire to know who had won the fight.

The people were left stunned by shock, not believing what they had just witnessed.

Osnur was sent tens of meters away from his original position. Coughing out a mouthful of warm blood, Osnur had to muster all his strength to stand on his feet once again. Seemingly, he had suffered critical internal injuries. Though the both of them were demigods, it was clear that Osnur was way weaker than Lu Bu. Osnur could be considered an elite at an early phase of demigod cultivation. Lu Bu however, was possibly an elite at a middle or later phase of demigod cultivation hence the loss.

With Lu Bu worrying about Diao Chan, he showed no mercy and readied himself to charge at Osnur with the intention of killing him with his hand knife. Once Osnur was dead, the rest of them would surely turn into a pile of dead meat on a chopping board. Soon enough, a wave of despair started to spread like a disease amongst the crowd.

Seeing Lu Bu's Ethereal Force powered combat saber was about to land on him, Osnur lost all hope.

During that critical moment, a snow-white Ethereal Force was suddenly launched from afar and was targeting Lu Bu.

Seconds later, it clashed with Lu Bu's weapon producing a metal-on-metal shrieking sound so sharp, that people from miles away could hear it. The bright light from the friction was enough to disperse away all darkness around them.
The snow-white Ethereal Force had turned into hundreds of thousands of tiny droplets and struck Lu Bu.

Both of Lu Bu's feet remained unmoved but his body was forced back at least a few meters. With a shocked look on his face, he frantically stole a glance at his attacker. He could see that the attacker was a gorgeous woman with three snow-white fox tails behind her. The thing that shocked Lu Bu the most wasn't her looks, but her unparalleled Ethereal Force. After taking a hard hit from Lu Bu, the lady did not even move a single step from where she stood. She was still standing in front of Osnur. Clearly, this woman's cultivation was way more powerful than Lu Bu.
"It's Ms. Bai! That is the lady that our Sifu brought with him earlier! Damn… she sure is powerful!"
"Ms. Bai has just neutralized Lu Bu's attack! We're saved!!! We are safe once again!"

Everyone thought that Lu Bu was out of his mind. They did not expect that Lu Bu to say such arrogant words when he was obviously on the losing side. Seconds later, they realized that the reason why Lu Bu dared to act in such arrogant manner was because still had a powerful trump card hidden within him.

Lu Bu then swung his hand and took out a Heavenly Halberd measuring a staggering 14 feet with an image of a golden dragon engraved on it. Reflected by the sunlight in it's golden glory, the Halberd looked like a one man army powerful enough to defeat everyone in this world. With the hefty Lu Bu holding it, he now looked like a Heavenly General that one should never ever mess with.
In a time long ago on earth, Lu Bu fought Old Luo with the Heavenly Halberd. In the end, he was defeated by Old Luo. One should know that the Heavenly Halberd was just a mirage created by the Ethereal Force.
This time though, the Heavenly Halberd followed Lu Bu to the underworld realm, strengthened and honed for over a thousand years, and had eventually become a bona-fide Divine Instrument! The moment the Heavenly Halberd made its presence known, the entire place was flooded by its imposing presence. One could safely say that it was way more powerful than Chen Xiaobei's painting. Immediately, everyone from Bei Xuan Faction took an unconcious step backward.
Even Osnur and Xiangyu could not bear to stand near him, and slowly retreated.
"Tha… That's a One-star Divine Instrument!" Bai Linsu was shocked. All of her confidence was washed off clean.
"Hmph! Smart!" Lu Bu said coldly. "My Heavenly Halberd is actually a Six-star Divine Instrument, but because of the restriction, it can only wield the strength of a One-star Divine Instrument! But that's more than enough to kill you ain't it?"
Bai Linsu was dumbfounded, and her face grew solemn.
She knew very well that demigods were humans, but Divine Instruments were at a 'deity' level and that was way beyond 'human'!

Lu Bu then swung his Heavenly Halberd and the golden tiger savagely charged at Bai Linsu without any mercy.
"Everyone," Bai Linsu's forehead was slick with sweat and her pupils narrowed. "Run! Run now!
Bai Linsu knew all the better that she could not take on Lu Bu, and besides telling everyone to run for their lives, she could do nothing else.
"Damn! The enemy has a Divine Instrument! Even Ms. Bai can't seem to fight him! Where should we run to?"
"That Divine Instrument is damn scary! Looks like we're really dead this time!"
"Sifu? Where did Sifu go? Sifu! Save us! Save us!"
The people of Bei Xuan watched the battle from afar, their hearts in their throats as they cried out for their lives.
Once Bai Linsu was dead, the rest of them would soon follow suit.
Alas, in such a dire moment, Bei Xuan's leader Chen Xiaobei was nowhere to be seen.
Chen Xiaobei was their Sifu, their religion, their last hope.

"Sifu! Sifu, don't die!" When she saw that the Halberd was about to strike Bai Linsu's head, Linghu Shuang instinctively ran to the arena, tears streaming down her face.
"Shuang'er! Don't come over here! You'll die!" Bai Linsu's face and lips were ashen, the rims of her eyes raw and red.
"Even if I die, I want to die with Sifu!" Linghu Shuang had completely lost control of her emotions, and she was running as fast as she legs could carry her, not caring about the consequences of her actions.
"Don't come here!" Bai Linsu trembled, a river of tears running down her face.
"Stop!" A commanding voice thundered.
All heads turned and suddenly, hope began to rise; the despair on their faces lifted as if they had just seen their saviour.
Lu Bu's attack suddenly was suddenly frozen, and his murderous eyes turned from Bai Linsu to the person that approached him.
The only person who could turn a situation around with a mere 'Stop!" would have to be the faction leader of Bei Xuan, Chen Xiaobei!
"Chen Xiaobei! You've finally come!" Lu Bu's tone was frosty. "I thought you would have been hiding behind a woman like a coward!"
"Oh, I was not hiding! I have only just come because I am now sure that my plan would surely succeed!"
Chen Xiaobei walked over to the arena, and signalled for Bai Linsu and Linghu Shuang to retreat.
"Will you be alright?" Bai Linsu looked worried. "This guy has a Divine Instrument!"
"Don't worry. He won't attack me!" Chen Xiaobei smiled.
"Ho… how is that even possible?" Bai Linsu and Linghu Shuang stared at him in disbelief. But knowing that they would be no help even if they stayed behind, the two women retreated to a safe place far away.
"What did you say? I won't attack you? Has all that fear in you fried your brains?" Lu Bu growled. "Today, I won't stop until I destroy your Dantian!"
With a loud roar, Lu Bu swung the Heavenly Halberd again, ready to strike at Chen Xiaobei's Dantian.
"No! That guy is going to attack Mr. Chen!" Bai Linsu and Linghu Shuang exclaimed.
The hearts of the people of Bei Xuan were shaken to the core. "The fight is starting! Will Sifu be able to block that Divine Instrument? It's too scary! If Sifu can't do it, then we're all dead for sure. This is our last chance!"
The entire atmosphere was tense, and everyone in the place were on pins and needles, holding their breaths, with their eyes unblinking.
Whether they won or lost, and whether they would live or die – everything would depend on this strike.
But!
Right at such a threatening moment, Chen Xiaobei remained where his was, unmoved, not avoiding and not blocking the attack.
"You stupid f*ck! What is the meaning of this? Why aren't you fighting back? Are you looking down on me?
Lu Bu did not hold back but increased the intensity of his force instead.

With the Heavenly Halberd only inches away from him, Chen Xiaobei said calmly, "Would you like to listen to my plan? The perfect plan that can help you save Diao Chan!"
"Save Diao Chan? That's the perfect plan?"
Chen Xiaobei's words had obviously struck Lu Bu, freezing him in his tracks.
Lu Bu instinctively withdrew his force, and put his mission to kill Chen Xiaobei aside.
Evidently, that had stunned everyone. They had really thought that Chen Xiaobei was about to die. They could not believe that what Chen Xiaobei had said could stop Lu Bu's attack midway. Not to mention that Lu Bu was also holding a Divine Instrument!
Everyone stared blankly at the scene, disconcerted by the sudden turn of events.
It was all very simple, in actual fact. Chen Xiaobei had the key to Lu Bu's heart, Diao Chan!
"What are you saying?" Lu Bu glared suspiciously at Chen Xiaobei.
"I've already settled this matter. We'll be able to save Diao Chan very soon!" Chen Xiaobei smiled.
"How could this be? Diao Chan is in Shen Gongpao's hands. How are you going to save her?" Lu Bu frowned. "Tell me now! Explain yourself! If I find out that you are stalling me, and that you've found someone to take your place in the finale, I will make sure you die an ugly death!"
"Heh, stall you?" Chen Xiaobei sniggered. "You're thinking too much! Without me, my team could still win the finale. I have no need to stall you!"
"How's that possible?" Lu Bu frowned. "Shen Gongpao insisted that I would need to destroy you during the finale so that you cannot join the competition! How could you possibly give up the entire competition? Don't you want your Dragon's Edge anymore?"
"Hehe, if you don't believe me, you can take a look at the group chat!" Chen Xiaobei said.
"Group chat? I'll check it now!" Lu Bu immediately took out his phone.

Diao Chen was the person that Lu Bu loved the most, and for her, he was willing to do anything. Anything to the extent of even bowing down to thank her savior!
"Let's talk after you get off the ground eh!" Chen Xiaobei offered him a hand.
Lu Bu maintained his position on the ground stubbornly. "God Chen, I will never ever forget this thing that you have done for us! From today onwards, whenever you have a need, I will do everything in my ability to help you, even if I have to risk my life in return for saving my wife!"
"I think of the both of you as my friends. Taking care of each other to the point of sacrificing oneself is only natural. If you stay on your knees, would that mean you don't recognize me as a friend?" Chen Xiaobei asked.
"Of course I do! I recognize you as a friend" Lu Bu hurried to his feet. "It is my greatest honor to be your friend! It's almost the greatest stroke of luck I could ever have! As long as you don't mind, this friendship will never ever change, and I hope it would last forever!"
"If that's the case, stop calling me God Chen!" Chen XIaobei smiled. "You call me Xiaobei like Bro Yu does!"
"I wouldn't dare!" Lu Bu shook his head. "Last time, because I had my hands tied by Shen Gongpao, I have done some terrible things till it brought you harm! I do not dare disrespect you anymore!"
"But if you keep calling me God Chen, a lot of people will misunderstand!" Chen Xiaobei pointed at the crowd watching them.

"Oh, okay. Whatever you like." Chen Xiaobei was taken aback by a little. There were probably only a few people who Lu Bu called 'Bro'. The number of people like that were few and far in between. Just thinking about it make Chen Xiaobei feel a tad proud.
"Pass the phone to Xiaobeibei! I want to thank him myself!" Diao Chan said.
Lu Bu handed the phone over happily.
