Hunting
The executioner of the church were prepared to take out their weapon Arcuied also noticed it and just simply said while laughing.
"He, he, he don't be so serious you all, I am just here for some hunting missions. I need my Christmas & Birthday present."
The executioners loosened their grips on their weapon a little after hearing this but still hadn't put their guard down. Izayoi and Gil were standing behind Merem and Ciel but they weren't bothered by the commotion like it was every day for them.
Izayoi: "Birthday day present?"
Merem: "Oh, you don't know today is Princess's birthday."
Izayoi: "On Christmas.... he,he,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha..i am going to die of laughing."
Ciel: "What's so funny about it?"
Gil: "Funny thing is that the church is trying to kill someone who was born on the same day as the person who they regard as the son of their God."
More: "If you look it that way it's really funny."
Izayoi: "Jokes aren't funny anymore if you have to explain them."
They didn't pay much attention but currently, everyone gathers there were staring at them. The whole church was worried for a possible mass carnage while these kids were joking around a situation like this.
The church didn't pay any more attention to it and a high-ranking priest walked toward Arcuied while cold sweat ran down his back.
Priest: "Princess Arcuied, the church would like to wish you a happy birthday and what gift would you like."
Arcuied: "I have been sleeping for so long.So... I need a tough hunting mission to freshen up."
Church members finally withdrew their weapons and decided to give her a difficult task in which she may get killed for the greater good according to them.
Izayoi: "Weird."
Merem: "What's weird?"
Gil: "She clearly knows that church is trying to get rid of her but she is still acting like this."
Merem face saddened and he murmured.
"If they try to do anything to princess, I would feed them to apostles."
"What?" Ciel clearly heard but still asked. She wasn't a big church devotee but it's still her only home.
"Nothing" replied Merem while shaking his head.
A few minutes later, an executioner came with a file and gave it to the priest which he later passed to Arcuied.
Priest: "Princess, this may satisfy your requirements."
Arcuied opened the file and saw a picture of a familiar person, it was the picture of the 10th rank dead apostle ancestor, Nrvnqsr Chaos.
(A/N: I'll be referring Nrvnqsr as Nero from now on.)
Arcuied: "Nero Chaos, well then I'll try my best."
Izayoi and Gil who were listening to this didn't like this a bit and interrupted they had a perfect holiday plan to hunt dead apostle ancestor down in reverse order and the top ten were the main course and now out of nowhere, this girl decided to steal their prey. Oh, they didn't like this a bit.
Nero Chaos may not have super high attack power but he is the strongest dead apostle in terms of defence. The Chaos from which his body is made of could reach continental level defence and it's said that even arcuied with her true power could not hope to destroy chaos.
"We object. Nero is our prey."
Their voice echoed throughout the church and everybody looked to find out the source of the voice. They were shocked to find out that the source of the voice were two twelve or thirteen-year-old boys.
"Who are these kids?"
"Take them inside."
"This isn't a safe place."
"Someone call George."
To calm the situation down the priest asked Ciel, "Who are these kids agent Bow?"
Ciel just replied, "They are young magi, who took out an army of dead apostles in our latest hunt."
"An army"
"of Dead Apostles"
It was something completely unbelievable by normal standards that these kids were able to take out an army of Dead Apostle which are like a nightmare to any veteran executioner.
Arcuied also heard this and was greatly shocked but she had many crazy things in her long life and it didn't affect her much at all.
Arcuied: My apologies but the prey is mine and I am not giving him back.
This pissed Gilgamesh, even more, it took every bit of he had the power to take and now someone who doesn't even belong to this planet had the audacity to steal his prey. This calls for...
Gil: "Gat..."
Izayoi: "Stop, let's try the easy way first."
Gil stopped before he opened Gate of Babylon but executioners of the church almost had a heart attack as golden ripples appeared in the sky and they felt like infinite numbers of weapons were pointing at them.
Izayoi: "We have planned about this long, long time ago... two days to be exact and we are not giving our prey to any vampire."
Mr Dawn and Ciel pulled back Merem from the crowd.
Mr.Dawn: "Merem, stop this before it gets too chaotic. "
Merem understood the situation and decided to intervene and to stop the situation before it gets too chaotic.
"It's all Nonsense, the prey belongs to princess."
Ciel and Mr.Dawn facepalmed themselves because they knew it, they knew it wasn't going to work but they did it anyway.
Izayoi: "The prey is ours don't me do this the hard way."
Arcuied: "I am also ready."
"Why don't you all hunt him together?" The final solution to solve this situation came from Mr.Dawn.
Arcuied, Izayoi and Gil after hearing this thought about this for a minute and then came to their decision.
"I agree"
"We agree"
Izayoi and Gil stayed at the church for a few days while the church was making preparation for the hunt while Croix was in another world during all this.
-Another world-
A corpse tall, thin man with orange was lying on the floor of a large asteroid floating in outer space while Croix was stomping on its head.
"I finally killed Shaggy."
-Back in Nasuverse-
A few days later, Church was finally was able to track down the location of Nero. He was currently there, in Italy trying to locate a chimaera of an ancient phantasmal species.
Izayoi, Gil and Arcuied took a flight to Italy that day to the town where Nero was. The flight was long and it could have way much faster if they used vimana it could have been way much faster but life was going too fast for them, it's okay to take things slowly sometimes.
They took a taxi to the hotel which was entitled booked by Arcuied. The money sent by her fan from mage association is finally getting into some good use. They stayed at the hotel for a few hours and then left to find the alchemist who created the chimaera.
It didn't much time to find out the location as Izayoi could just see mana in the air. The trio were now standing in front of an old building, the walls were filled with cracks and graffiti. A man sitting inside the building in was watching the trio on the screen through the security cameras.
"She is here."
Standing behind him was a man with a strong build, he was Nero Chaos the 10th rank Dead Apostle Ancestor.
"The prey has come to the predator by herself."
Arcuied, Izayoi and Gil who were outside were ready to attack but now they were confused and the question appeared in their mind 'What are we going to do next?'
Defeating Chaos would take continent destroying to escape soil of Genesis and power to destroy 666 lives in a single attack and Arcuied didn't have it in her current form and it was something that she could not accomplish in her hundred percents power form could accomplish. Gilgamesh could defeat Chaos by using Ea.
Arcuied: "So... who is going to kill him?"
Izayoi: "I could kill him but I won't.You guys could take him."
Arcuied: "Are you scared?"
Izayoi: "Trust me, you don't want me to attack him."
Izayoi could also defeat chaos with a heavy hit but that would destroy a large chunk of the planet along with Chaos.
Gil: "That leaves it all to me."
Chaos who was listening to all this was curious that how were they planning to defeat kill him? Arcuied currently didn't have enough power so she was out of the question and then what remains is those two kids. How could they kill him? Continent destroying was out of the question then what remains. Mystic eyes of death perception, a spatial collapse or other weird mystic code. Let's see what happens.
"David unleash the chimaeras."
"Yes, professor Chaos."
Behind them were chained large hounds around the same size of a car, their claws were sharp as finest katanas and their fangs could easily pierce through thick steel.
Outside the building where the trio were just about to enter the buildings as *Bammm*, the walls shattered and dust spread across the area after a few seconds it settled down revealing six large hounds grunting at the trio.
Gil: "This is it, I was expecting more.Gate of Babylon."
Golden portals appear behind Gil as a different type of weapons came out of them. Axe, swords, spears and arrows all aiming at the hounds.
Gil launched weapons from the gate at such speed that even Arcuied could not as the hounds were pierced by the weapons again and again till there was nothing but blood and pieces of flesh left there.
Gil: "WHO IS NEXT?"
Nero just dazed at the screen watching what happened. It was not the product of magecraft, it maybe it was some kind of mystic code. A mystic code or a reality marble-like himself, he uses his reality marble to store beast, this kid may have a reality marble-like him but he uses it to store weapons.
The boy was certainly not a Dead Apostle, to achieve something like a reality marble a feat close to true magic, such achievement at a something at such a young age is something beyond even beyond any human magus in mage association.
