Meeting a New Friend
Zheng Xiujing was looking around her new place. Her room wasn't that big compared to her bedroom in the house. There were 4 rooms in her new place. She was now walking in the living room where there was only a sofa, coffee table, and some shelves. She could see the door which connected to the balcony near a bookshelf. On her right-side was the bedroom which had the small bathroom inside. Decorated with white and pink pastel theme, the bedroom looked cosy and girly. To be honest, she preferred black and white. On her left-side was the kitchen with dining chairs in front of the long counter.
"The kitchen and living room are more like a modern style, while the bedroom is decorated with sweet pastel. Is there something wrong with an interior designer? Well, I prefer the modern style."
She put Felix on the coffee table. Starting to unpack her luggage, Zheng Xiujing found that all of her clothes were brand-named. Will her new classmates get jealous of her? Or will they try to suck her up like her friends from the old school? Perhaps she should buy some cheaper clothes to wear.
"I need to go shopping when I had free time." She sighed.
The next day, Zheng Xiujing woke up early as always. After she finished taking a baht and dressing up in a cute uniform, she went to the class. Shizijia school's students needed to pass all of 3 level programs to graduate. A new student will start at the 1 level program. In terms of students' intelligence, the A classroom was the best one, while the C classroom was for students who got low scores on the exam. Still, all students here were selected as the only genius. Even if you were studying in the C classroom, you were clever than students from other schools. Shizijia school wasn't a school for the rich but the genius.
Of course, Zheng Xiujing was studying in the 1-A classroom. She needed to study here for the next 3 years before she could enroll in a university. However, she decided to adjust her schedule and plan to finish the programs within 1 or 2 years, since there was a self-studied system via computer.
As for her vampire life, her power started to grow stronger every day. She could feel people around her walking too slow. And she used to break a teacup without intention when she grabbed it absent-mindedly.
Zheng Xiujing looked at the room '1-A' and walked inside. It seemed she was the first person who came to today's class. She needed to come early because she didn't want to walk under the bright sunlight. Zheng Xiujing walked to sit near the window in the second row of the classroom.
"Hello. Are you a new student?"
"Yes." Zheng Xiujing just nodded at the newcomer. The girl had blonde wavy long hair and blue eyes. And she had porcelain skin like Zheng Xiujing as well. She didn't look like a Chinese. She was a bit taller than Zheng Xiujing. With her cute face, she looked like a doll.
"My name's Gao Lili. You can call me 'Lili'. What's your name?"
"I'm Zheng Xiujing. Nice to meet you."
"Are you perhaps not a Chinese? I love your violet eyes!"
"My mother was British." Well, how could she tell the truth that her mother was actually a vampire and she came from another world?
Zheng Xiujing's black long hair was made into a side braid ponytail which made her look a bit cuter. Zheng Xiujing had sharp violet eyes with her long-curled eyelash. Along with her oval face, thin rosy lips, and upturned nose, she could be described as a sexy lady rather than a cute girl.
"I'm not a Chinese too! My parents are French, but they came to work in China. Thus, I have to study here."
"I see."
More and more students began to come into the room since it was almost 8 A.M. now. Zheng Xiujing ignored everyone as she was reading her new textbook.
"You seem like a nerd type, aren't you?" Lili asked Zheng Xiujing.
"Not really."
"That's a relief. Your face doesn't look like a nerd type. I hate studying, we should hang out at a café after the class. What do you think?"
"Okay. I plan to go shopping today. I need some new clothes."
"You can count on me. I know the good shopping area as well as some hidden places for having fun." Lili winked at Zheng Xiujing.
"What's a hidden place you're talking about?"
"Of course, it's a nightclub!" Lili exclaimed excitedly.
"We're only 15 years old. Are we allowed to enter such a place?"
"I have my way to get in there. If you're interested, just tell me. I'll tag you along with me. Hehe." Lili giggled.
Seriously? A nightclub? Zheng Xiujing laughed at what Lili told her. She was never interested to go to such a place; although, it was the best place for her to find a 'prey'.
