Chapter 17: Chapter 17: What date?!
Still holding hands because this devil won't release me, like seriously does he think I will get lost, we walk up to an amazing little resteraunt that sells the best Poke bowls.
If you don't know I love sushi, so good!
Poke bowls ate basically a sushi roll in a bowl.
Anyways as we go in and pick out our base, proteins, veggies, sauces and toppings, I see a familiar figure paying at the register.
Before I could say anything, I'm being hug attacked by Melody, "Serenity!"
"Melody!" I say with a smile.
"I see you came out for some shopping and Poke too!" she says then smirks seeing Colton and adds, "I also see you were forcing to bring baggage along as well."
Seeing her annoyed, I look behind and see Braxton standing there with a look like we crashed his date which makes me laugh.
I lean in and whisper seriously, "What in the world is with these clingy devils?"
She seriously looks at me, "When I figure out, I will tell you as long as you do the same!" she whispers back.
We decided to eat together and I finally got Colton to release my hand so I could pick a table with Melody and he can pay for the Poke bowls.
Sitting down she immediately takes out a phone she must have just got and makes me take mine out so we can add each others contact.
She takes me picture for my contact photo and curses at me, "What did I do?" I say confused.
"How the hell are you so photogenic? Not only are you beautiful in person, but you even look flawless in pictures, it's not fair." she pouts.
I frown and take her picture too and then show it her, " What the heck, your freaking gorgeous too in pictures you dumb model, how are you complaining about fairness?" I say ruling my eyes.
Braxton interrupts as he sits next to Melody a little too close for comfort as it makes her jump in shock and says, "Okay, okay you are both goddesses, why are you fighting over beauty."
Melody punches him and I kick him under the table.
"OUCH! what was that for?" he asks and we ignore him.
Colton comes and sits next to me and before I can react and scoot away, he places my bowl in front of me completely distracting me as I dig in excitedly. So yummy.
'This dahm man knows food is my weakness, this could be bad,' I think but just shake it off cause food.
Melody just watches this scene in shock for a minute, but just chooses not to think too much and begins eating her own bowl.
Unnoticed by the two foodies, the men beside them were looking at their little beauties with much doting in their eyes as each adamant to claim them as theirs soon.
A while later, they finish up eating and decide to walk around doing more shopping together.
Melody was dressed in a similar fashion to Serenity's expensive but low key look as too not attract to much attention to herself.
Although a famous model, her vibe kind of makes people feel inferior so they don't dare to approach her.
The girls decided to go into a cute clothing boutique that suited their styles as the men just followed along happily with them.
Of course Colton was holding Serenity's hand yet again.
Seeing this, Braxton was jealous and tried to do the same with Melody and was slapped, but he held on and said, "If I don't, you will get lost, and I am your ride."
"Shameless!" she humphed but ignored it and just dragged him forward with her.
Once in the store the girls were shopping and looking around when Melody spotted the most adorable high low lavendar dress with white polka dots and ruffle tank top sleeves.
She grabbed one in both hers and Serenity's sizes thinking they could be cute and match, she gave hers to Braxton to hold seeing how Serenity was making Colton her clothes holder.
"Serenity, how cute is this dress, you should buy it too so we can wear it to school for twin day! Puh-lease!" she says with a puppy dog face.
Rolling my eyes I just give in since it is cute, "Okay!"
I reach my hand out to take it when it is suddenly snatched away.
Me and Melody turn and glare at who dared to take the item from her hand, and I frown when I notice it is that same freaking pampered princess.
Jesus, enemies do cross on a narrow path.
"Aha you were able to buy the last thing I wanted, but this is mine, I had it first," She then turns to Melody, "Thank you shop attendant, I will give you a nice tip."
Melody fumes and giggles as she looks at me, "I guess you crossed paths with this thing earlier, very blind isn't she." she smirks.
"I agree, she told me I, of all people, couldn't afford to shop ar Louis Vuitton." I respond with an eye roll, since I know Melody wants me to partake in this play.
Ugh, now I have to spare effort on this insignificant person.
Colton senses my annoyance and runs calming circles on my hand which I glare him for, but don't complain because it feels nice.
At my ignorance to him, he smiles that annoying sinful smile, which didn't go unnoticed by the pampered princess.
"I don't think you knew who I was earlier which is why you called me unqualified compared to that thing clinging to you, but my name is Tiffany Ford." she says flirtatiously.
Before I or Colton could get a word in, Braxton bursts out laughing.
Melody actually smiles and I just shake my head while Colton freaking just stands their chuckling at this girls stupidity.
"What is so funny?" she angrily says.
Braxton controls himself as he says seriously, "I didn't know that daughter from the puny ford family could even compare to the only Heiress of the Hunter family, none the less to world famous model and heiress to the Powers family whom you insulted by calling a shop attendant." He said loud enough for all the staff to hear as they immediately called security to have Tiffany thrown out and handed the dress to Serenity.
Melody frowns at this.
"What is wrong? We got the dress which I need to sanitize since that annoyance touched it, I don't want her rotten personality to rub off on me" I say.
Melody laughs and just says, "I know, but it ended too easily and I don't feel satisfied."
She then looks at the nearest shop manager to her and smiles, "I want her blacklisted" and then looks at me with an expression like that will have to do for now.
I roll my eyes which I seem to do alot around these fools, but smile because I never had someone who genuinely cared as a friend before in my past life.
I frown on the thought of my past life events as the memories race through my mind again.
I am only shaken out of my thoughts when I feel myself slammed into a chest and strong arms wrap around me that make me feel kind of safe.
My cheeks burn as I realize Colton is hugging me.
Seeing my blush, he smiles and says, "You looked like a sad kitten who needed a hug."
I glare at him and start walking to the register to check out as my shopping mood has been ruined when Colton grabs my hand again.
I just ignore him again as I drag him to the counter, but then I turn to look at him, "Where is my stuff?"
"I made the shop attendant take it up to the check out counter when you were lost in space." he says and then leads me there.
This man. Seriously.
I hand my card to the lady, but she just hands me the bag, "This is our gift to you as a hope that you won't take that bad experience out on our store and keep shopping here." She then hands me a gold card with an tiara logo and continues, "We will be adding you and Miss Powers to our VIP list, so this won't happen again, we apologize for what happened sincerely."
Hearing the sincerity in her voice, I smile gently and accept it as a gift so I don't be rude, "It is not your fault, I dont wear the Hunter name on a badge, so it wasn't your job to know, I appreciate this gift and I am honored to be a VIP member, I love the style of your clothes." I say.
She shows me a big smile as her and her coworker walks us all out of the store.
We all walk to the parking lot together and Braxton being the idiot he is interrupts our goodbyes by saying, "This double date thing wasn't bad, let's do it again!" with a big smile on his face.
Colton smirks and says, "I agree."
Me and Melody just freeze in shock thinking internally, 'What date?? What double date??'
