CHAPTER 3 : WORK...WORK...
Franky got up very early in the morning, she was exciting to start her job that day. She took a shower, then wrapped up hist chest, she's wearing dark color T-shirt and jeans, she looked cool just like a real boy. She made some breakfast for herself and her brother. She went to the old lady shop after finishing her meal.
Franky :"Morning ma'am. I'm at your service."
Mrs. Yang smiled :"Morning ! You look so passionate hehe..., you may start your work now, like I told you yesterday."
Franky :"Yes ma'am."
She started to watering the flowers and arrange them on their places then she cleaned up the place. The old lady called her "Franky, please send these flowers to this address. You can use that bicycle there." Franky took the flowers "OK I'll go first." She had delivered flowers to five address that day, she's so tired on her first day of working, now it's time for her to go home "She you again tomorrow ma'am. Bye " The old lady smiled she's satisfied with her work "See you tomorrow, take care."
Franky went home and took a shower, she's waiting for her brother back home. She wore her black hoodie sweater and black trousers, she's ready to go when her brother came. Ethan came from work by his motorcycle, he told her to go down and went directly to his old place Bar, before that he stopped to have dinner first with his sister at the little restaurant near the Bar. There he met his friend Henry.
Henry :"Hi, Ethan long time no see you pal ! Come have a seat !"
Ethan :"Hi,Henry nice to see you again after so long."
Henry :"Who is he ?"
Ethan :"Oh, this is my brother Franky, this is Henry my friend, just call him Henry ge ."
Henry :"Oh I thought you said your sister who wanted to work ?"
Franky got freeze, but Ethan gave her a sign "It's OK he's my best friend he can protect you !"
Ethan :"Sorry Henry, actually she's my sister, her name is Francine, but lately she changed her style to be like a boy, she said to protect herself from bad guys."
Henry :"Hahaha... good idea ! I like you, you really look like a boy ! Don't worry you're secret is saved with me and I'll protect you well ! Just treat me like your brother."
Franky :"Thank you Henry ge, nice to meet you !"
Henry :"Come let's eat your dinner first, I'll show you around before you start your work today."
They went to the Bar after having dinner, Henry showed her all the room and places in there, the Bar was very big, Ethan followed her and he stayed for an hour in there to see her got adjust to the place, then he left to get back to his night class. Henry introduced her to other staffs as a newbie, Ethan said hello to other old staff he knew too.
Henry :"Frank, to start your first day here you just do the dishes first, if you finished your work you may look around inside the Bar."
Franky :"Got it sir."
Ethan :"OK I leave now, I'll pick you up again at night after work. Do your job pefectly !"
Franky :"OK sure brother, take care."
Franky started to work at seven o'clock there and she looked around the Bar when people began to get in and the music had started from slow to beat up and it was very loud. Not waiting for too long she started to doing the dishes since their customer came a lot.
Ethan came picked her up at mid night, the Bar hadn't closed yet, but Henry let her go home since it was her first day. She was very exhausted that day, she fell asleep directly when she got into her room. The next day she came late to the flower shop.
Franky :"I'm sorry ma'am I'm late."
Mrs. Yang :"It's OK, I think you lack of sleep ?"
Franky :"Yes, ma'am I have another part time job at the Bar, so I came late last night. Can I come here a bit late starting tomorrow ma'am ?"
Mrs. Yang :"Alright you may come here at nine o'clock starting tomorrow. My shop always closed on sunday, so you don't have to come here on sunday. I give you a day off on tuesday also."
Franky :"Thank you ma'am."
Franky got a day off from the Bar on monday, she had to work hard at the week end.
A month had passed, she enjoyed her part time job both at the flower shop and the Bar also. Though the pay was bigger at the Bar, but she cared about the old lady very much, since she cared with her also. The first month her brother picked her up everyday from the Bar, but she told him to lend her some money to buy her own motorcycle, she didn't want to bother him every late at night. Ethan was hesitated at first, he worried about her safety the most, but she convinced him, that she could protect herself well. Finally Ethan bought her a used motorcycle, she was very excited to try it.
Franky had passed her three months trial at work, she had known about varieties of flowers well and she could arrange a bouquet of flowers that she learnt from the old lady. She entered the Bar as a waiter now, she got more tips in there, she got her formal waiter uniform white shirt with black vest and black trousers. She was very exciting with her work, she said to herself "Yeah I have to work...work...and work everyday, soon I'll get enough money to go to univ !" She sometimes called her mom and asked about how was she doing, she told her mom that she would study at the university very soon. She wanted to be a chef, she's interested in mixing some drinking at the Bar, she asked Henry to taught her about it, she learnt fast, sometime Henry asked her to help him mixing the drinks.
That night she was told to bring the drink to the private room, she saw some men in there together with some girls, but the men were too rough they bullied the girls badly,she couldn't bear to see it, she got out very quick after placing the drink, then she went to Henry and reported what she saw. Henry told the securities to get ready and watched out for the worse. Not long after they heard some screaming from that room, the securities broke into the room and tried to settle down the situation, but the bad guys got mad they chased out the securities, the securities told Henry about what had happened, Henry took some bodyguard and went into the room, he tried to persuade the customers to calm and release the girls, but he gone mad, Henry told the bodyguard to chased them all out and they kept the girls saved. One of the girls said thank you to Henry for saving them, Henry told them he got the info from the waiter, the girl then searched for Franky, when she found her she kissed her cheek and gave him some money, Franky got shocked her eyes widened, Henry saw it from far away, he couldn't stop laughing.
Franky :"Wait, what is this ? Why do you give me the money ?"
The girl :"Because you save my life ! What's your name cute boy ?"
Franky :"I...I'm Franky and you don't have to give me the money !" she gave back the money to her, but she gave back to her.
The girl :"No, I want to give you the money, just keep it, next time we'll protect each other OK, my name is Jasmine Chen."
Franky :"Yes, we should protect each other well from now on, thank you for the money."
Franky was about to go home, she was on her motorcycle when Jasmine came rode on her bike and hold her tight from back "Take me home tonight Franky !" She got shocked "Oh my God you've shocking me ! Where is your house ?"
Jasmine :"It's on the XX street"
Franky :"OK hold on tight."
Franky sent her home that night, she agreed to make friend with her since then.
Jasmine :"Thank you Franky for sending me home, let's be friend with each other from now on."
Franky :"Yeah, let's be friend."
Jasmine :"Where is your house ?"
Franky :"I live with my brother, his apartment is on YY street."
Jasmine :"Not too far from here, take care see you again tomorrow."
Franky :"See you, Bye !"
