Chapter 62 — I will find you and hunt you down!
A whole week has exactly passed ever since the start of the tournament. There wasn't anything important that happened, but Ning Chen was able to reach the fourth rank of the heart separation technique.

These two different thoughts could also work together, making it possible for Ning Chen to use the precise calculations for prediction and apply it to wield his sword more efficiently.
Ning Chen decided to rename it as his own thought separation technique. It was a technique that was unknowingly optimized to use his sword spirit better since It was different from the Treasure Pagoda.
With this marvelous technique, Ning Chen could now focus on studying formations even while cultivating or training. They can also synergize with each other, making the gains even better.

This caused Ning Chen to feel something fishy going on and also feel worry at the same time.
Ning Chen knew this clearly wasn't a mass suicide, but a murdering spree that were made to look like it was suicide.
And he inwardly knew that the murderer was still out there somewhere, lurking around the shadow and is probably preparing to murder his next innocent victim...

Ning Chen was inside his room, looking toward the large board which was placed in front of him.
On the board, there were various pictures of victims with all sorts of drawings, words and arrows marked on it. The arrows were all pointing toward a photo with a shadowed figure.

"Whoever you are... I will definitely find you and hunt you down..." Ning Chen uttered deeply, stabbing a knife into the picture with a shadowed figure.
The murderer was dangerous and also powerful. He was still roaming around freely, making it dangerous for everyone Ning Chen knew.
There was a chance that his sister would be the next victim and he swore to not let that happen.
The authorities haven't moved, so he decided to act on his own.
In order to protect his sisters and friends, Ning Chen used his various networks to find clues about the mysterious murder case.
And he was able to gather many clues that might prove important.

The shrek academy's contestants were Tang San, Xiao Wu, Dai Mubai, Zhu Zhuqing, Bai Chenxiang, Ning Rongrong and lastly Oscar.
The match between Shrek and Elephant team soon started. It wasn't exactly easy, but was instead very difficult and hard.

Ning Chen was preparing to leave, but then received a notice from Ning Fengzhi, who wanted to meet with him.

He knocked on the door and quickly heard his father's voice, letting him enter the room. He opened the door, quickly seeing three familiar people.
His father and Xue Qinghe. Tang San was also surprisingly with them.
Ning Chen greeted them with a light smile and sat next besides Xue Qinghe.
Ning Chen was curious about why he was called here, but then soon realized it and just listened patiently.
Xue Qinghe introduced himself to Tang San and quickly started talking about his father, Tang Hao.
Ning Chen was clearly surprised, not expecting Tang San to be the son of the infamous Tang Hao.
He then heard from his father that Tang San wasn't just the son of Tang Hao, he even inherited his father's spirit, making him a twin spirits holder.
Ning Chen was slightly stunned, but then felt it made sense. It was no wonder why Tang San was able to reach a high spirit rank despite his blue silver grass spirit.

Tang San soon decided to leave, leaving them sitting there.

"Did you wanted to let Tang San meet Xue Qinghe and let me hear about his origins?"
Ning Fengzhi nodded.
"You're indeed right. Tang San will surely become a powerhouse in the future. It will better to have him at our good side, especially when we include his father. As a supporter of Xue Qinghe for the next emperor, it's also normal to help him with his connections."
Ning Chen smirked and responded, "You're wise as the rumours, Father. I hope I can manage to even learn the slightest bit from your wisdom."

Ning Chen simply nodded and then looked toward Xue Qinghe.

"However, He still can't compare to me." Ning Chen said while laughing.
Xue Qinghe chuckled as a result.
"Anyway, what's your thought about the tournament?"

He had heard many things about them, but the thing that stuck into his mind was about the Supreme Pontiff being a very beautiful and alluring blond woman.
Ning Chen wanted to see her with his very own eyes and see if her beauty and charm can compare to his own unparalleled charm...
