The Emperor and Yu Wang left the imperial study and headed for the prison area where Concubine Ming's men were taken by Empress Dowager's shadow guard. On the way, the Emperor announced that Imperial Concubine Ming had been detained in her palace by the Emperor's golden soldiers. Supervisor Wu prepared a fairly large interrogation room. In the interrogation room, there were many oil torches placed in every corner of the room, so it was bright at night. The Emperor sat on the bench that had been prepared looking at Consort Ming's two trembling subordinate eunuchs. These two eunuchs were eunuchs brought directly from the Su clan by Concubine Ming. They were so used to helping Su Mingmei's evil works that they forgot that the person she wanted to harm was no longer an ordinary person. The one Su Mingmei wanted to harm was the Emperor's wife.
When the two fake eunuchs were lost in fear of the annihilation of their entire family, Yu Wang's voice called them back.
"Of course, if you tell Concubine Ming's mistakes honestly, the Emperor might lighten the punishment for your family."
"Can our family be allowed to live?" asked one of the Eunuchs.
"This Emperor can forgive your family but not you."
Hearing the Emperor's promise, the two eunuchs cried in relief. They knew long ago that they would not survive, but at least their family would live.
