I liked reading this book, and I really appreciate the author for writing it. Ultrix has my ideal personality and the plot intrigues me. I hope that the author can keep up this good writing.

This was a fun read and the character build-up was also very nice. This definitely deserves a spot in the writing contest, and I hope that it continues to get better! Keep up the good work!!
As much as I like Controlling Destiny, I recommend using more "show, don't tell" story writing. For example, at the beginning of Chapter 5, describing the atmosphere itself seems unnecessary, especially when the following paragraphs describe it just as well. Moreover, I also feel like the dialogue is too unrealistic; you're relying on it too much to describe the novel's world. An example of this is the secret pinnacle tier. Considering the headmaster's attitude towards hard work, it wouldn't make much sense to hide a completion rate that some students may want to achieve. (This is also sort of a plot hole since, in Chapter 5, all of the students know what a pinnacle completion rate is.) I have a few more small nitpicks, but I honestly think this is a great story.
