Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Shit hits the fan
----------------Third person's POV----------------
"Yeah without proper explanation, neither of those things are going to happen." I said
"hahahahaha, you are funny mid level transfer mage. I'll repeat myself, there is no use trying to resist this is your last chance to join us on your own free will." Mage
The mage was told that this boy was only using transfer magic and guns
Not only that but this young mage wasn't even twenty-five yet, and no one in the supernatural world had heard of him yet
In other words he was a nobody
I looked around at the four werewolves in human form three men, and one woman and she isn't exactly cute, all staring at me fully on guard, all look of Hispanic ethnicity, one of the wolves has their claws out tapping on a table
(It's dangerous to try to make a gun appear in my hand what I need is something different)
Christian thought to himself
"Have you decided yet." Mage
"He looks weak anyways, let's just brain wash him." She wolf
"The other two wolves are smiling while looking at me, obviously trying to intimidate me
While still looking at her, Christian vanish without a trace
Knowing how impossible it would be for a mid-level space mage to get out of this barrier and that a cultivator of that caliber wouldn't have been caught so easily in their sleep that meant two other options he couldn't be human or he was
"He must be an -" The mage was cut off, because a black van suddenly landed on him
---------------Christian's POV----------------
I knew my teleporting wasn't magic, because unless I have some sort of incredibly page magic capacity, there was no way I could be using magic without knowing
The wolves transform, what they look like is
as follows the female and two of the males had green eyes and the other male had yellow eyes, their faces morphed, they wild sideburns, claws and sharp fangs
I quickly lean out of the side of the window with my draco in hand and fire at the
three wolves two of the males looked stunned but not to damaged, the female and
another wolf looks not damaged at all, on the two males that are stunned the effect
I see on them is the equivalent to punching a human, obviously the two unaffected
werewolves are stronger.
(Damn that isn't going to work) I start driving the van and teleport onto the
weaker wolves to clear them out of the way and way then run them over with my tires, but that's when things get out of hand
I feel the van be lifted up and thrown, I had one second to clear out of there before the van crashes into a wall, so I grab my gun and teleport out to the far east end of the room
I watch as the she-wolf launch the car through the room, the car crashes right through the wall and hurdles outside, tumbling in the grass
(Holy Shit) I think to myself, I could teleport out if I wanted to, but first I want to test myself against these guys
Next is that the last male wolf charges at me with super speed, the wolf vanished from his spot and almost through me off my technique, but I already mentally prepared myself for this when I decided to fight from the first place
I teleport only three feet to the right side of where I was standing as soon as the wolf "vanished"( which I guessed was just movement that was faster than what the normal human I would keep up with) he appears at the spot I was originally, he turns his head over the right to face me, but instead faces my gun in between his eyes
I fire off about ten times from point-blank range knocking him down,but then faster than I could react the female came from across the room and landed a punch on me right in the gut blowing me to the wall, luckily for me I knew to protect my head,(Thank god for a childhood full of ass-whippings) I began to cough up blood
She is slowly approaching me, and I am about to teleport out of here when
A strong gust of when came from my back , I don't know how but it blew the she-wolf into the air flying the opposite direction from me into a light shot threw her body and killed her
Then I noticed there was someone else in the room, two others
a light skinned man and a light skinned woman, both have to bee around my age, the man had his right hand up ,
so he must be the cause behind what-ever that was, and the woman says "You put up a pretty good fight, mage."
The man goes " He isn't a mage, he is some type of esper." I hear him say
Before I lose consciousness I crawl over to the dead mage who threatened to hypnotize me and take off his ring and put it into my pocket
"Don't move to much or you'll die from your injuries !" Female said with concern
" I don't know you, you might kill me anyways." I say
"Here drink this, this drink will heal you." He says as he makes the bottle of green liquid float in the air towards me
I know it's unsafe, but if he wanted to kill me he could've before I knew he was in the room, so I drink it
It tasted like Gatorade, and after a few seconds the pain is gone and I could stand,
the girl rushes to my side and helps me balance myself
"Healing potion ?" I ask
"Of coarse, haven't you seen one before ?" Female said with curiosity
"No, I haven't, I just found out about my ability less than two weeks ago, and I just found out about the supernatural less than fifteen minutes ago, by the way who are you two and what are you two."
The man answers " My name Garous, but you could call me Gary, I'm a mage or magician and werewolf apart of the U.S mage association." Gary
"I'm his sister Amaya, I'm a cultivator and werewolf, what's your name." Amaya
I was surprised to see both a cultivator and a magician both exist in this world
"Christian, and thanks for saving me but, why are you both here ? How did you know of this place ? How did these guys find me ? What did these guys want to use me for ? And how did you two find these guys?"
"So many questions, I cant keep up." Amaya said with a look of hopelessness
Gary laughed
"Okay these guys are working with the ones started a fire looking for something
almost two weeks ago, and they are working under an alpha, and you caught their
attention by intervening. In the supernatural world finding someone once you see
their face is quite easy as long as you have the money and know the right people.
And why are we here, because the U.S mage association put out a request to get to the bottom of this event that made it to the news." Gary
"So this mage thought that I was a mage, why would he think that ?" I Inquired
"Espers are rare, especially one like you , and ones like you whose power could further be increased by mana or aura are incredibly valuable, so valuable that he had to lie to the mage to keep him from running off with you." Gary
"What would he had done to me, and are teleporting espers that rare?" Christian
"Brainwashed you, sold you, there are many things." Amaya said
"Okay" I say awkwardly
"Well teleporting espers aren't unheard of but, new espers that haven't really trained their ability for even a month but could teleport objects miles and miles away straight into their hand is." Gary
So I'm not a teleporting esper ?Suddenly getting a light bulb over my head, I take out the ring inside my pocket and feel it, according to my knowledge on manga....there it is I could feel and see the objects within the ring
Those two are watching me
"What are you doing ?" Amaya
"Storage ring !" I say
" What ?" Gary
While I look through the objects I see books other objects and a glass green-glowing case
I pull it out and Garry's mouth drop
"A space manipulating esper, and an wind spirit !" Gary
"Is that special." Amaya
"Of coarse, if you can use wind magic like me !" Gary said with excitement
"Would you be willing to sell that to me ?" Gary
"Ok How much do you offer ?" Christian
" Ten million USD and I'll our family will teach you magic or how to use aura, which your going to need for the very soon to be future anyways !" Gary
"What do you mean by"soon to be future"."
I ask
"We'll have you ever heard of an adventurer's guild in a video game or something ?" Gary
"Yeah, they do quest and missions and stuff." Christian
"Well, my mission is over. All I had to do is find out what's happening, not take on an alpha. And based off what I know that alpha is probably going to be looking for you for a while so it would be in your best interest to get stronger, and we could help you with that." Gary said but thought that Christian would make an excellent member of the guild or the pack
"Yeah, we will help you get stronger !" Amaya said with determination
"Okay, well I've always been interested in the concept of magic and aura, in the fantasy genre anyways." Christian
"So which will you practice ?" Amaya
"How much time do I have for training ?" Christian
"One week, but with our training room one hour equals ten hours, subtracting the time you sleep, it will be about 45 days." Gary
"Alright then both." Christian
"That is going to be very hard and inefficient
there aren't many people who chose to do both, let alone both at the same time, but it is possible. Oh and all health and mana recovery and extra books you need you will have to pay for them." Gary
"Okay who do I buy these from ?" Christian
"Do you have your phone with you ?" Gary
"Hold, on." saying that I reach out my phone and teleport my phone from my room in my apartment, then I give it to him
He gets on Goggle play and downloads an app called "supernatural Insurance"
"Alright here, this app is like amason and Gbay put together for the supernatural."
"Your joking right ? A super secret black market is on one of the worlds biggest app stores ? Who runs this business ?" Christian
"Who said the supernatural world is a secret ?Normal people could get on this too. And this "market is ran buy multiple families, politicians, magic guilds, martial art sects, and many many more groups of people." Gary
"Also if your magician's guild is like an adventurer's guild then how is your job over without facing the alpha wolf, isn't the adventurers job to keep order?" Christian
"Because those guilds report to a country and a country has laws, the supernatural world doesn't have laws and although the national mage's association doesn't except quest with evil intentions, we definitely aren't some sort of police force." Gary
"So based off of that, there are evil doers running around everywhere doing what ever they feel like right, unless someone puts in a request and someone chooses the request ? And what is the national association ?"
" The national association Mainly right, if its trying to take on some large group than that is no go either or else all the dark groups would probably join forces against the national guild." Gary
(I better get my shit together and fast) I think to myself
"Alright when and where do I go to training ?" Christian
He texted me the address and told me in two days from now, let the training begin
