I remembered that day so clear. So polished in my head and replaying everytime I would think about the memories I had shared with her. God she was so happy and excited since it was Friday. We were both looking forward to that day since after school. We were planning to go to the mall and fool around, probably watch a movie for free again by sneaking into the cinema. But that day was so different from others. I really thought it'd be another of those "everyday is the same day" kind of week. How was it so different? Did I do something? I mean, I didn't explode the cinema by all myself- I dont even have powers to do that no matter what I try to have those--
"Hey! Raelyn stop disassociating will 'ya?" A small childish voice called out bringing me back to reality and where we are, reminding me how the world turned out after I turned 16. It was Winnie, or Elowen. But she prefer's Owen I guess. Winnie's voice had the "Matter-of-fact" tone. Sometimes it would piss me off on how annoying it is. Winnie's that type of kid the reason why you dont wanna have kids. She's much of the boy-ish kid in kindergarten. Owen or Winnie or whatever, was around 10 years old. Yet her height seemed to disagree, making her look like she was around 6 years old. I like to tease her by calling her Winnie since she told me she used to watch "Winnie the Pooh" as a kid and loved it. "Child, do you even know what disassociating means?" The soft voice that chimed in was Vera. She had that smooth chestnut colour with her. She and I had the same height and has the vibe of "The mom friend". Her hair was closely similar to Bodhi but Vera's hair was abit more frizzier than her's. Vera was always protective of Winnie since, she is a child and should be taken care of, but her actions and personality says no. "Of course I do! It means like- where- where your mind is off to somewhere! See? I know it!" Winnie bragged with a little bit of tantrum telling Vera that she knew what the word "disassociating" means. I didn't really mind their sibling like relationship, I'm actually ok with being with people slight arguing for once. We were out of nowhere and somewhere near a cliff, watching the trees dance with the winds, not knowing what's happening to this earth. If we go beyond North and continued on from West, we might as well be near a new state. We were stalling and waiting for James since he had to go get more supplies from the near cottage we found a few miles back. We've been here for what, 50 mins. Already? What's taking him so damn long? Quinn was violently shaking his left foot up and down. His monolid eyes was scanning the woods and oftenly would turn his head in other directions. "Jesus christ, 모기가 너무 많습니다!" Quinn exclaimed while swatting out the air next to him. Quinn was the new foreign exchange student in my school that got popular really fast. Surprising how he got popular so fast was because he had this resting bitch face on him. May it be a good day for him or not, that bitchy attitude stayed on him at all times. Weird enough was I was one of the first ones that friended him yet he seemed to forget about me. Glad that Quinn's still friendly with me whenever I would try to talk to him. "When are we going to leave this- this shitty forrest? Were going to die here with all the mosquitoes around! Ugh!" He exclaimed trying to get everyone's attention that he wants us to leave James behind. "Were waiting for James, remember? He's going to get all the loot back in the cottage, and if we don't have that, we might as well die going to the next state." The small child interfered. Now that I remember, Winnie's attitude and Quinn's, was similar. Bitchy, Bossy, Mr/Ms.-know-it-all. You name it. But oh well, these were the people I came across while the apocalypse was about to start.
