But thinking back now, even if he had told her of his feelings, what would that have changed? He would have been branded a traitor to his life's end and when they would eventually have a child, that child would never know of their ancestry and the realm would have inevitably gone to war.
Regardless of the many uncertainties of the outcome, Blade was beyond happy to ultimately have his eyes graced by her beauty once more. He felt fortunate to have been able to admire her beautiful eyes, gorgeous face, and succulent lips another day.
