Chapter 11: Who???
I got a call at 1 o'clock in the morning. I never usually answered any call after 10pm, but today was definitely different. Lahari called when I was awake so it was fine,but calling at 1:00 that too when I slept, someone was really messing with my patience. My ringtone was horrible because I kept some Ghost song as a ringtone so that I'll answer the call and won't neglect it. I saw the caller ID "UNKNOWN " It said.
I answered the call but I was literally angry very angry cause it's 1:00am in the morning and for heaven's sake I was too tired and sleepy. I said "WHO?? ". I couldn't speak more than that. The person didn't talk. "WHAT ON EARTH MADE YOU CALL ME IN THE MIDDLE OF A NIGHT, WHEN YOU DON'T WANNA SPEAK??" I yelled at the person. I could hear the person giggle. I was fucking sleeping and this dick called me and was not at all speaking and was instead giggling when I literally yelled at him/her. I was damn insane to that thought and hung the phone.
That person called again.why would I answer again, who does he/she think I was to answer a fucking nobody in the middle of the night....
I dozed off again thinking it might be my friends playing pranks with me cause they are not sleepy and want some entertainment..
I got a call again " FUCK THIS RINGTONE "I thought to myself and cut the call. This time I received 4 messages from that number. I opened the text and started reading.
" Hey, I'm really sorry for laughing at what you said..."
" I really didn't mean to laugh but you were really cute when you said that, sorry sorry yelled at me..."
" Now if you allow me I need to talk to you..."
" I'm waiting outside of your home,so plz come out and meet me..." It read.
"This must either be Liki or some freak who wants to kill me or do something else"I thought..
I didn't go out. After a while I received another message...
" I'm not Liki neither am I a serial killer,I just want to talk to you"it read.
Another pop up....
" I am from your college, come outside already..."it read.
I was running crazy,I thought maybe I was dreaming and pinched my hand really hard that I started crying with pain. OUCH!It was real ,so real.
"TING"I heard another pop up.
I opened to see another message....
" Look girl, I'm not playing with you just come out and hear me out..."it read.
So this person is a boy I thought to myself cause no girl would come searching for me in the middle of the night,and no girl would call the other girl GIRL because she's a girl herself...
"TING"another pop up....
" Are you coming or not ,if not I'll just come inside your house" it read.
I giggled at this point. The gate is locked he definitely can't come in, unless he has creepy idea of jumping from the gate...
"TING"
" I surely can jump off your damn gate...."it read.
"TING"
"Do you want me to try that??" it read.
I was freaked out. That person was sounding damn insane that too in the middle of the night,when all the people in my colony were sleeping.
"TING"
"You are not planning to come. Are you?"it read.
"TING"
" I guess I should jump now..."it read.
He was insane, fucking insane that he wants to creep inside a girl's house that too in the middle of the night.
I texted him back "Wait a minute,you psych".
" TING"
" TING"
"You have a minute to come out, else you know what I'm gonna do..."
" What were you calling me????" it read.
I texted him " Who are you?? ".
"TING"
" I said you I was from your college.." it read.
Had it been any other girl she would have definitely called police or atleast said her parents....
I was thinking ,who could this insane dick be...
"TING"
"You are testing my patience, I'm jumping now" it read.
I grabbed a nice sharp knife from the kitchen just incase and ran towards the door to slowly open it . However a small sound was heard.
It was pitch dark outside,I walked towards the gate. Just then a sound was heard as if someone fell down. I ran towards the direction when my eyes met a boy whose face was still not clear.
I turned on my torch to see who it was. When I saw the person I was shocked ,completely shocked that I was about to fall on the ground when a warm pair of hands grabbed me and made me stand again. It was him. It was HOODIE . What was he doing here ,how did get my number,who gave him my address,what work did he have to meet me in the middle of the night when he's a complete stranger, I don't even know his name!I had a hell of questions in my mind.
He let go of his hands and looked at me. I was a mess I wore simple pajamas. If he said it was him I would have atleast wore nice pajamas I thought to myself.
I saw him he wore formals, plain white shirt tucked inside a black formal pants. Before he could say anything I gave him a "who the fuck are you" look.
He cleared his throat and extended his hand for a handshake. I rejected. He saw me and started speaking with his sweet voice." Hello,guess you don't know me. I'm from science department. I'm from the same year as you. Sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I am Aarav " he said.
My jaw was wide open to see him speak so politely,back then when he texted me it was different. I stood with no expression on my face,but when he said his name was AARAV. I looked down. I was startled it was the name I heard in auditorium. So it was him,I thought. I looked back at him with a "SO WHAT" kind of look. I was just saying with expression because I was not getting words to speak.
He started again " blablablablablabala ". He was just saying about himself ,although I wanted him to be my side I didn't want to go out with a guy about Whom I don't know a thing.
This time he raised his voice a little,I was just looking at those green eyes and thinking if I could have a chance to kiss him or go on a date with him and whatsoever.
We were naturally having 5 steps gap between us and of a sudden he was just a step away. I didn't notice that. He said again I was hearing this time cause he was so close to me that if I neglect him now he can just slap me right on my cheeks, no one knows right,can happen. " Riya! I want you to dance with me tomorrow!" he said looking straight into my eyes. My eyes were saying Yes! I'd love to, but my mouth spoke different. "I Don't dance with STRANGERS". I pronounced stranger word perfectly loud just to let him know he's a stranger.
He saw me with pleading eyes. I was already in those eyes so it didn't make a difference.
I asked him " HOW DO YOU KNOW ME,WHO GAVE YOU MY NUMBER AND ADDRESS,YOU CAME ALL THE WAY HERE TO ASK ME FOR A DANCE??". Before he could answer my questions I said again " WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU JUMPED OFF THE GATE?".This time I was insane, though I like him this was completely weird.
He said with his eyes looking down" look I'm sorry , really sorry for jumping off the gate and for calling you in the middle of the night. I really wanted to talk to you because...". He stopped in the middle looked into my eyes and continued again " I know everything about you Riya,and about your number I took it from the administration book and your address I followed you". I was shocked for what I heard. He followed me,WHY?. Taking number from administration was a creepy thing no one would ever dare to do. I looked at him for a complete minute,I was waiting for a answer but what he said was completely beyond my league. All these days I was liking him secretly but this guy knows this much about me when I don't even know his name until he said it himself....
I had a Question Mark Face. I asked him " WHY??" To which he didn't answer but gave a smirk.
I don't know him for God sake even then I was hearing to his bullshit ,just because I like him. "Man! this really is my insanity" I said under my breath.
He jumped off the gate again. I looked at him he asked me come forward. I went and stood Infront of him as if what he said was a command. We stood there with only a gate standing in between us. He gestured me to give him my hand, which I did. He caught my hand with his and started caressing it softly. He kissed my hand to which I had goosebumps. He said waving at me " Dance with me tomorrow I'll say you everything you asked for " . With this he was gone.
"HE KISSED MY HAND!!! wait a minute I'm not dreaming,am I ?". Well no, it is real.
I was catching my hand and glared at it for a couple of minutes. I had a bright smile on my face. "I could be more happier!" I thought to myself and went inside the house thinking what will he say tomorrow. I locked the door and went straight to my room without a sound. I pulled my blanket up and read out the messages again the one's he sent me. I saved his contact as HOODIE. I obviously liked Hoodie, Aarav was also good but HOODIE was just awesome...
I was crazily laughing to myself." I will definitely dance with him" I said to myself and slept.
