Chapter 44: Halloween party-2
We reached our destiny. It was none other that soo-ah's restaurant.
"Come on." I said and ran inside.
"Soo-ah? Ahjumma? Unnie?" I called them all.
They came out.
"I want you guys to come with me." I said. They looked confused.
"Ok, here's the thing. We're having a party. I want you to cook them good home meal." I said happily.
"We'll do. But who's gonna be there?" Ahjumma asked.
"That's a surprise. Now we'll have to leave. Come on hurry up." I said and helped them out to pack their things.

We reached and I put everything in the kitchen.
"Yoongi oppa and Jin oppa will be helping you out." I said and went in.
"Yoongi oppa and Jin oppa?" Soo-ah asked as she came running to me.
"Yes. And there's one more surprise." I said and paused.
"All the members are here. And this party is for Halloween. And... there'll be all idols here tonight." I said.
Her eyes grew big and she was jumping up and down.
"You can also join." I said.
"Thank you unnie!!!" She said and hugged me tightly.
"Ok now hurry up and finish your work. So, you can enjoy the party." I said and patted her and she went to the kitchen.
I started with the hall decorations.
"This goes here. And that goes there." Me and Jungkook were directing the guy to keep it.
"Perfect! Now we need a table or rack." I said and went in search of one.
"Here it is. Boys, need some help." I shouted from the table.
Jungkook and Jimin came and carried the table.
"Now, Taehyung get those trophies." As I said he went and got them.
I placed the trophies in order.
"Do you have a notepad or some book?" I asked.
"Here." Jungkook gave me a small notepad. This'll be good.
I wrote the order of the trophies.
"You guys continue. I'll check on the catering and come back." I said and left. The boys were really into work.
As I entered the kitchen, I was taken over by the smell of some delicious food.
I took a deep breath in.
"Looks like no one gonna leave tonight?" I asked them.
"Y/n. Come here. Taste this and tell how's it." Yoongi oppa called me.
I went and he fed me. It was the best taste ever. I really loved Yoongi oppa's cooking.
"It's so good." I said and looked what else was done.
I went to the dessert section and told them how everything should be kept.
After checking everything there, I went to check the rooms. They were perfectly decorated.

After running here and there, I finally had some time to sit.
I looked at the decorations and it was amazing. It really came out how I expected.
It was almost evening.
"Now, everything's set. Me and Mia will invite them in. And we'll conduct somethings. So the mics are our property in the party." I said and they nodded.
I hardly had time to eat lunch. I just kept hydrating myself.
"Y/n, come. We have to change." Mia said.
"Comin'" I said and took my dress and went to change.
I decided to wear a black, sleeveless middy, above my knee. And with that a cat-ear headband.
I curled my hair and put some light makeup, put on my headband and I came out.
"Oh my god! Y/n, you look damn hot!" Mia said as she saw me.
"So do you." I said and smiled.
"Shall we go ahead?" She asked. I nodded and we went out.
As we came out, the guys were already there.
They looked at us with their mouths open.
"What are you looking at?" Mia asked.
"N-nothing." They said in unison.
I shrugged and I went to the kitchen to see if everything is kept in place.
"Unnie? Is that really you?" Soo-ah asked as she came to me.
"Yeah. Ok everything is set. I've kept your costume inside, so go get ready." I said and she went running.
"Excuse me." I called out to the worker.
"I have a big black pot. Is there any juice or something you can put inside?" I asked him.
"Ma'am, we have candies. We don't have juice." He said.
"Candies would be perfect. Put a bunch of them in this pot. Thank you." I bowed and left.
Then me and Mia sat together and wrote down some activities and shows we'd be doing during the party.
It was 6:30 pm.
"Mia, let's start." I said and we both stood at the entrance.
After few minutes, two cars stopped in front of us.
A group of boys came out. Mia was jumping up and down inside. I could see that.
At first, I didn't recognise who it was, cause I rarely listened to music. Then I saw my brother. And I realised who it was.
My face grew happy seeing my brother. I went and hugged him tightly.
"Oppa, I missed you so much." I said.
"Me too. And you're recovering." He said and caressed my head. I nodded.
"Ok. This is Suho, Jong-In, Kyung Soo, Chen, Sehun, Chanyeol, Min-Seok and Lay. And guys this is my sister, Byun Y/n." He introduced pointing at each one of them.
"And this is my friend Mia. Nice meeting you guys. Hope we can get to know each other more." I said and welcomed them in.
Mia looked at me with heart eyes.
"Calm down. There'll be a lot of idols. Please don't do anything wrong." I begged her.
"Don't worry, I won't do anything." She said and smiled. I smiled back at her.
We invited everyone. This time, I started jumping when I saw an idol group.
I just kept looking at them.
"Y/n? Y/n?" Mia shrugged me.
"Uh...uh... I-I'm sorry. I-i was just..... Please come inside." I invited them in.
We went back to the front and,
"Mia, is that really Blackpink? Oh my god! I'm gonna cry. I didn't think they'd come." I said and my heart was beating fast.
"I know!" She said.
I tried controlling myself.
Calm down y/n. Calm down.
*after sometime
After everyone arrived, Mia and I went over to a small stage we set up.
"Excuse me everyone. Can we have your attention for a minute? Thank you." As I said and they turned towards me.
I felt kinda nervous with all the great and successful idols in front of me. I took a deep breath in and started.
"Let us introduce ourselves. I'm Byun Y/n." I said.
"And I'm Lee Mia. Tonight, we both are the host." She said.
"We're gathered here to celebrate Halloween. And everyone one looks stunning in their costumes." I said trying to make eye contact with everyone.
"We have a lot of fun activities to do. And amazing food. And you'll be staying here. Hope you enjoy the party. We'll meet you again, shortly." As Mia finished we left.
Everyone were happy as they could reunite together.
I saw Soo-ah. I went to her and guided her around.
"Soo-ah, I would like to introduce you to my brother and the other members of BTS." I said and walked with her.
"Unnie, you have a brother?" She asked doubtfully.
"Yeah. I too got to know later." I said and took her.
"Oppa." I called out to my brother.
"Soo-ah, this is my brother, Byun Baekhyun. And oppa, this is Soo-ah, my best friend and my sister." I said.
"B-Baekhyun? Exo's Baekhyun? You are an idol's sister?" She was shocked.
"Yeah. And so are you now." He said and pinched her cheeks.
"Really? Thank you so much oppa." She said and hugged him.
He saw someone and went.
"I'll come back. Have fun." He said and went to the person.
"Now, let's go meet BTS." I said and walked.
As we reached, Jimin was happy to see soo-ah.
"Soo-ah! Come here." He called out.
I introduced her to them. They were happy to see her.
I wanted to check if things were going right in the kitchen.
"You guys talk to her, I'll come back in a minute." I said and headed to the kitchen.
As I entered, I saw ahjumma.
"How's everything going?" I asked.
"Pretty good." She said and looked at me.
"Y/n, you look so gorgeous in this dress."
"Thank you ahjumma."
"Y/n, about your friend, who came that day.." Unnie said as she came.
"Yeah Jimin. Is anything wrong?"
"Nothings wrong child. Is there anything going on between you two?" Ahjumma asked.
I thought for a second.
"N-no." I said doubtfully.
"He looks like a really nice guy. He takes care of you, he's your friend and he would be a great partner in your life." She said.
I was silent. I didn't reply anything.
"Y/n. We just wanted to say it. You have to decide." She said.
"I'll come back." I said and walked thinking about it.
He's my friend. Do I have feelings for him? I've never thought of him in a different way. But my heart aches for him. Why?
I stood there thinking and looking at him. I just walked, not knowing where I was going.
"Y/n?" Someone shook me.
"Y-yeah. What is it Mia?" I asked.
"We've to go now." As she said, I came back to reality.
"Oh ya. Shit! Sorry. Come let's go." I said and we went to the stage.
But I couldn't still stop thinking about what ahjumma said.
He cares for me, he's my closest friend and the best I could ever ask for. He has helped me get a job. We spend a lot of time together.
Forget it. It's not gonna happen. But what if?
Ugh! I'll look after it then. For now, the party must go on. I can't stop that nor no one can.
