Chapter 18: Birthday party
They saw me and got up from there and said,"y/n. We're sorry. We didn't mean to hurt you. Were extremely..." before they could say anything, I cut them and said,"it's fine. You guys did what you were supposed to do on a birthday. And, now onwards, I will celebrate my birthday with you guys."
"Jinjja??" They all asked, together.
"Yeah. How about, I'll treat you guys to tonight??" I asked them.
"No. Birthday girl, today is your day. You don't give us party. We give you party. So we'll take you and Jimin." Hoseok said.
"Okay. As you wish. I'll leave it up to you guys." I said.
We all laughed.
We sat down and had breakfast. We talked a lot and had fun.
"Thanks to you guys, I have been this happy, on this day. I'm happy to be with you guys." I said, looking at everyone.
"Y/n, we're happy to have you." Jin said.
"Yeah. We're really thankful to have you. Even Mia. We've never experienced this much fun. It's all because of you." Yoongi said.
I was shocked to hear this, especially from yoongi oppa.
"Guys, enough." Me and Mia said together.
We laughed.
We finished and left to work. The manager called us for a meeting. Mia went to the makeup room and I went with them to the meeting.
"Okay. Boys, we have an advertisement to shoot. So it'll start from today, afternoon."
"Which advertisement?" The boys asked eagerly.
"Puma brand. And y/n, I'll give you the role. You will tell them and help them out to shoot." The manager said.
"Sure sir." I said, with a smile.
"And y/n, here's your schedule for today's week." He said and handed over me a paper.
"Thank you sir." I said.
"Now, you guys can continue your work." He said.
We all left the room and went to the practice room.
I went and sat in a chair. I took a look at my schedule. I was so busy reading it that I didn't realise there was someone standing in front of me.
"Y/n, y/n, Y/N!!" I heard a voice and lifted my head up.
"Oh, hey, Taehyung. Is there anything I can help?"
"I kept calling you, but you didn't respond."
"Sorry, I was reading the schedule."
"Anyways. We'll be leaving after the shoot directly. I've already spoken to the manager."
"Ok. Thanks." I said, flashing a smile.
He left for practice, while I continued to read the schedule.
*time skip
It was afternoon. We had to shoot the advertisement. The act was given.
I told them how to act and everyone were surprised and shocked to see me acting.
"Yah. You really act so well." Namjoon said.
"I used to act at the school dramas."
"Jinjja? Then next time, if I act in a movie, I'll for sure take you along." Taehyung said.
I laughed and the others laughed after me.
The shoot got over.
We went to dinner. It looked like they planned everything before hand. Mia was even excited than me, cause even when I was with her, I never celebrated my birthday.
"Here we are. Now, you need to blindfold." Jungkook said.
"Again??"
"Come on. Only this time." Jimin said.
"Hey, it's your birthday too. You get to not wear blindfold but I have to." I said pouting.
"I've already been here. Now it's your turn." He said.
I didn't want to spoil the day.
So, I accepted and put on the blindfold.
I was guided by all of them.
I got into something. It was shaking. They took me further.
"Now you can open!" Mia said.
Jimin was standing behind me and he took off my blindfold.
I opened my eyes and was in shock.
I turned and stared at others. They were waiting for my reaction.
I was in a cruise, where only were there. No one else. I could feel the cold air hitting my face.
I took a deep breath and said,"guys, thanks a lot. This means a lot. I've always wanted to come here. You guys are full of surprises."
"Y/n, as long as you like it, we have no problem. We'll always be by your side. Right, everyone?" Jin said.
"Yes!" They all said.
"Thank you. I don't know what to do in return."
"If you want to do us something in return, promise us you'll always be with us and never leave us. Even Mia. Both of you, promise us. " Yoongi said.
I've never seen yoongi oppa like this. He doesn't talk a lot. But I got touched by his words.
They all handed out their palms. Me and Mia put our palms on theirs, and promised them we won't leave them.
We had dinner together. I sat next to Taehyung and Jimin.
Mia sat opposite to me. She looked at me sitting with them two and giggled. I looked at her and asked her what was she laughing, by twitching my eyebrows. She pointed to the three of us and showed a thumbs up. I looked at both of them and stamped her leg.
She screamed a bit and hid her pain. I felt sorry for her, but at the same time I didn't regret hitting her.
We finished our dinner and I went to the front of the boat to get some air. I stood there looking at the buildings and stalls with lights.
Mia joined me later. I asked her,"Yahhh, Mia. What was that?"
She acted as if she didn't know.
"What was what?"
"Stop. I know you know what I'm talking about." I said, staring at her.
"Okay, okay. Calm down. I was just making fun of you."
"You have your day too, don't forget." I said, smiling.
"Sorry girl." She said and we both laughed.
"Anyways, I forgive you."
"Thanks a lot."
"Such a nice view right?" She asked, looking around.
"Yeah, so nice and relaxing. Wish I could stay here forever." I said, taking in some air.
"You should say thanks to Jimin. He was the one who suggested this place. He told that you'll love it and yes you do." Mia said.
I got surprised. Jimin remembers everything.
"Jinjja??" I asked.
"Yeah. He also said you've always wanted to come here. He also suggested the city light view yesterday." She said.
I still couldn't believe.
"Really. I mean, how does he remember all these." I asked, confused.
"That and all I don't know. I'll go call him." She said and left even before I could say anything.
After few minutes he came.
"Y/n, is there something wrong?" He asked.
"You are really working hard. It has been so many years, we've not contacted or seen each other. But, how do you still remember what I like?" I asked him eagerly.
I expected an answer but he asked me,"how do you remember what I like?"
"How is it even related?"
"Just answer. I'll tell you, after you tell."
"Okay. Whenever I think about you, all those old times when we were together comes in my mind and I write it down in a book or something and recall those moments. Now if I look at you, only your likes and dislikes flash in my mind. Cause...cause....." I stopped. My heart was beating fast. Why? I couldn't understand.
"Cause? Why?" He asked.
"Cause..... cause I still miss you. You were so close to me. The only person who knew everything about me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and others. You are really important to me." I said and looked at him.
Tears were flowing down his eyes.
"Jimin, are you fine? Did I say something wrong? I'm sorry if I...." before I finished my sentence, he hugged me tightly.
His hug showed how much he missed me. He broke the hug and said,"I too miss you, y/n. I also used to write all your likes and dislikes and recall them. Now if I see you, I think of those times. We were never separable. I won't let go of you this time." The more he said, tears flowed through.
I wiped his tears and cupped his head to look at me and said,"I too, won't leave you. Nor anyone of you. I'm always with you."
We both hugged each other.
"Okay. Shall we leave? Others might be waiting for us." I said and wiped off his tears.
"Now. All you have to do is smile!" I said smiling at him.
He smiled back and we both went to the others.
When I entered, the was filled with covers.
"Guys? What is all this?" I asked.
"These are for you." Namjoon said.
"For me? But why?" I asked.
"Pabo. These are your presents." Mia said.
"But there was no need for this."
"We give presents to everyone's birthdays." Jungkook said.
"I know that. But...."
"No more buts. Just take it." Taehyung said.
"Okay!" I laughed and said.
One by one they came and gave their gifts to me.
"Okay. You guys wait here for a bit." I said and left out.
I came in with a bag. I approached to Jimin and said,"Happy birthday, Jimin. Here's your gift."
He took it and was about to open it. I stopped him and said,"nah-ah. Not here."
"Ahh, Jinjja? Okay." He said and laughed. After I gave, the others also gave their gifts to him.
"It's not yet over." I said.
They all looked at me surprised.
"What? Not yet over?" Jimin asked.
"Come out and see your self." I said and leaded their way.
We got into the front of the cruise.
"Wait here. I'll come." I said and went back.
I called my friend and said,"Now!"
As soon as I said, there was fireworks.
I stood from the stairs to see their reaction.
The fireworks started. It said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY DEAR FRIEND, JIMIN."
It vanished and another one came. It said "AND THANK YOU GUYS FOR THIS DAY. I'LL NEVER FORGET THIS DAY. MY OPPAS, MY DONGSAENGS AND MY DAREST FRIENDS, I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU GUYS AND LETS MAKE IT TOGETHER TILL THE END. - Y/N."
I came down. They turned back and there were almost tears in everyone's eyes, especially Jimin. He came running and hugged me. The others came and hugged me.
"Hey. It's okay." I said.
They broke the hug and said,"Aniyo. We've never seen anything like this before. And not many have said this to us. You were the only one who touched us from day one." Jungkook said.
"Jinjja?" I asked.
"Wait, I forgot something. Wait here." Jimin said and rushed upstairs.
He came back quickly. "Here."
"What is it?" I asked.
"Your brother gave it to you. He is busy so he asked me to give it to you." He said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah. He gave it when I went to the store." He said.
"You have a brother?" Mia asked, doubtfully. The others also looked shocked.
"Yeah." I said.
"You didn't even tell us." She said.
"I thought it was not important." I said.
"Anyway, what does your brother do? What is his name?" She asked.
"He's an idol, as far as I know. His name is Baekhyun." As I said, Mia looked at me in shock. Even the others did.
"You....you're Baekhyun's sis...sis...sister???"
"Yeah!" I said.
"Y/n, you really are quite popular. You have an idol brother and an idol friend." Mia said.
"Just shut up. Nothing like that. I'm still the normal y/n, you've been with." I said laughing. Others also laughed.
"Okay. It's getting late, guys. Maybe we should call it a night. We have a lot of work tomorrow." Yoongi said.
We nodded our head in agreement.
"Hyung, I'll drop Mia and y/n." Jimin said.
"Actually, I have to go somewhere else. So you guys can carry on. I'll take a leave now." Mia said and left.
"Okay. Shall we leave?" He asked.
"Sure." I said and took my things and waved to the boys, who waved back.
*in the car
"Y/n, I didn't expect that." Jimin said.
"What you didn't expect?" I asked doubtedly.
"About the firework."
"That is just, a special thing I've always wanted to do." I said.
"But I couldn't capture that moment."
"Don't worry. I already took a video of it cause it was a surprise. I'll send it in the group tomorrow." I said, smiling.
"You really are someone, y/n. Thanks for everything you've done." He said in a sad tone.
"Hey, cheer up man. You have me now." I said patting his shoulder.
"I'll never leave you too." He said and smiled.
"Okay. Here's my stop. Thank you for dropping me. And sleep tight."
"Your welcome. You too, take good rest. Bye."
I waved my hand and went in when he left.
I was so tired, but at the same time excited to open the gifts.
I was too tired and lazy to get up, so I just slept off in my bed, with the same clothes on.
