Chapter 8: Angel love
There once was an angel, who loved the humans. She did her best to make all the humans happy. She was given the name Felicity for, her smile brought joy and happiness. However, even her best attempts ended in failure. While she did her best to make them happy, a devil did his best to make them miserable. This devil used her plans to his advantage. He was given the name Discord for; he brought chaos wherever he went.
After hundreds of years, Felicity asked to go down to earth. With consent, she went to earth, disguised as a teenage girl. She helped every human she came across. Felicity did this for a year before Discord noticed where she was. "Hey, old man! I'm going to earth!" Discord said to his father. Discord and Felicity never met and know nothing about each other. All Felicity knew was a devil wanted entertainment and used her to get it. All Discord knew was an angel was on earth and he wanted to mess with them.
Discord found the town the little angel was staying in and disguised himself. He chose to be a teenage boy. He even went to school, against his will. He was placed in the same school, in the class as Felicity. The moment the two of them met, they felt two different ways. Felicity fell in love and wished to be friend him. Discord, on the other hand, hated her and kept his distance.
For weeks, Felicity chased Discord around school. It didn't take long for Discord to know why he hated her. Every day after school, she did charity work. She cleaned up the park, gave money and food to the homeless. Seeing her do this made him sick. After a month, Discord finally had enough. "LEAVE ME ALONE! ARE YOU STUPID OR THICK?! I HATE YOU!" Discord said. He looked Felicity in the eye as she began to cry. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to be with you. I didn't mean to upset you. I'll go now." Felicity said then, walked away.
Discord went to stop her but stopped himself. "Why would I comfort her? I'm a devil of chaos! I enjoy the unexpected!" He thought as she walked down the stairs. Discord sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Wait!" He said. Felicity looked back at him tears rolling down her cheeks. He thought for a moment then said, "I'm sorry. I never even gave you a chance. Can we start this over? Felicity rubbed her tears away, "Are you sure? I don't want you to hate me." Discord smiled, "To late for that." Felicity lowered her head. "However, if I already hate you there's nothing left but to like you!" Felicity smiled, walked back to him and kissed his cheek.
From that day on, the two of them did everything together. Discord even pranked her a few times and Felicity always got him back. Felicity fell even more in love as did Discord. They spent three years together. Until, one hot summer day, Felicity was called back. Discord and Felicity never learned of each other's true identities. As Felicity waited for Discord to return home; she thought of how to leave him without upsetting him. Once Discord returned, he kissed Felicity. She sadly smiled at him.
"What's wrong?" Discord asked, worried. Felicity thought over her options again. "Dear, I have to go home." Felicity said honestly. "What do you mean?" "My family wishes for me to return. So, after today, I'll be gone." "When will you return to me?" Discord asked, knowing the answer. Felicity looked at him. "You know that answer." "Say it!" "Never. After today, we will never meet again." Discord grabbed her by her shoulders and shook her. "AND YOU'RE OKAY WITH THAT?!" Felicity didn't move or speak. "ANSWER ME! ARE YOU OKAY WITH THAT!?" Discord start tearing up. "FELICITY!" "OF COURSE, I'M NOT! BUT I PROMISED I'D GO BACK WHEN I'M NEED!" Felicity shouted.
Discord slowly let go. "I don't want to go! I want to stay here with you. I want to be your wife. I want to grow old with you. But, I can't! If I broke my promise, it'd be the same as death." Discord hugged her. "This will be our last night together. Let's go and get food. I'll do whatever you want tonight." Felicity nodded in agreement. They went to the store and picked up the ingredients they need for dinner. Discord insisted on wine and a cake. After a few kisses, Felicity gave in with a smile. They walked home hand in hand. After dinner, Felicity got to see her favorite movie one last time. By the time the movie was over both Discord and Felicity were drunk.
"Anything else you want to do?" Discord asked. Felicity whispered her last request in his ear. Then, they went to bed. Once dawn came, Felicity gave Discord her last kiss good bye. "Have a good day. Never forget I love you." Felicity said tearing up and left. Discord was awake and went after her. "I love you too." Felicity smiled at him and closed the door. Felicity went back as requested and found she was to marry an angel boy name Alexzander. The two of them were to marry in two weeks. Felicity dreamt of Discord every night.
The day before the wedding, she went to the all might one. "My lord, may I speak with you?" Felicity asked shyly. "Speak my child." "I don't think I can marry Alexzander." "Why not? Is there someone else you wish to marry?" Felicity blushed and nodded, "A human man named Discord." "Felicity." "My lord, he is my everything. I love him and no other." "Felicity, my child. That man is no human. He is a devil. The same one that upset you, not so long ago." Felicity thought for a moment. "My lord, send me to hell then. I love him no matter what." The all might one patted her head. "Listen, my child. I will tell him who you really are. And if he still wants you, the two of may live in love on earth." "Thank you my lord! Thank you!"
The all might one did as he said. He appeared in front of Discord and asked, "Do you love Felicity?" "Yes, I love her more than I ever thought possible!" "Really? You don't care that she is an angel? The same one you've been toying with for hundreds of years?" Discord looked shocked. He thought for a moment, "I love her and wish her only happiness. Please, allow her to see me one last time! If after learning about me she hates me, I'll accept that. But she has to say it to my face!" "Understood! I'll give her you message."
Felicity waited patiently for the all might one. As she did, she noted something odd about her body. She smiled as she heard the all might one return. "Felicity, go to him and never come back!" Felicity hugged the all might one and left. Discord paced across the room. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. He ran over to see Felicity. "Felicity, I'm a-!" "I know. My, your hair got long. I was only gone for a month." Felicity said playing with his hair. "Don't you care?"
"Discord, I love you, no matter what! That was true in high school. And it's true now." With that, Felicity kissed Discord. Discord started crying as he pulled her into his embrace. After a few hours, discord got a haircut. As they lied down for bed, Felicity said, "There's only one thing left to say." "And what's that my dear?" "I'm pregnant with your baby." Discord looked at Felicity and smiled, "You had to wait until now to tell me?" "No, I just forgot until now." Discord hugged Felicity and kissed her belly. "I can't wait to met you little guy." Discord said. Then hugged Felicity and refused to let go until morning. Felicity muttered, "Together forever!" "Not even death will part us!" Discord added.
