Chapter 7: What's Strange Feeling About These Two?
Jana's System "GSF ( Game System of Fantasy) is the most advance System in the world that has made by the governments of the world.
Paul's System is called "Al System" this system is the one who are picking people that will destined to be Player someday. They need to start "Al System" then once you are Officially a Player it will upgrade to "Game System of Fantasy" with more detailed information.
Paul is unware that his System was only for beginner players and still didn't realize it while Jana realize it and spoke about it.
"Paul....Are you planning to be a player?"
Paul was surprised by the question of Jana made him wonder why she asked if He will be a Player, However, Paul didn't answer his question and he's silent because she still didn't trust her since they still don't know each other and the players who are supposed to save and evacuate the people but they suddenly retreated which made him not trust players.
"..."
Paul still suspicious about Jana even she save him, He thinks there must be benefits for her for saving him and he didn't believe the story or explanation of her that she know him by hearing voice like who would believe it. He believe that some players only wants benefits from their raids and they don't care about the lives of the people.
Unware to Paul, Jana already know that He's suspecting her and he will not believe in her story or explanation which is hard to believe even though it's true. Jana then try to understand that he won't answer her question.
"Ignore what I question earlier... it's fine if you don't want talk about or even answer my question.."
Jana think that it's just a mistake that she know the voice of Paul even though they felt strange to each other after they stared at each other earlier even Paul feel strange but he still doesn't trust her.
However, Paul is interested in the GSF that she using right now that was made by the government. He decided to answer the question even though he still doesn't trust the one who save him.
"You must've realize now that I still don't trust your story and explanation since I always think that Player's only motive is money and doesn't care about other people.."
Jana know and felt hurt and disappointed on what he think about players.
"What make you think that all players are like that??!!!"
The retreat order by the system and abandoned in the city made Paul think that they abandoned all the people that still in the city. Also Paul think Jana wouldn't save him and retreated if she didn't heard his voice
"You said...My voice is the reason that you saved me and that you will feel strange after hearing my voice, right?
"Yeah....." Jana can't deny about the fact the reason why she save him is because of his voice that felt strange for her that she remembers hearing from a long time ago.
"Then I have a question for you...." Paul's face look serious.
"What's is it...?" Jana felt nervous after looking at Paul's serious face.
"If you heard someone else's voice, would you save that person...?" Paul's looked so serious while hearing her answer.
"..." However Jana felt silence like she can't answer that question which Paul realize that she can't answer since Jana think it will disappointed him if he answer, yes.
"Yes or No..... ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!!!!!" Paul screamed so loud, however luckily there's no goblins in the area. They can no longer need to hide or whisper and can talk normal.
I'm want to be Player so I can be stronger and protect my only family left and help this world end the suffering from the aftermath of this endless war...But when I saw them retreated earlier, I always thought that they're risking their life for the people and the world. I was wrong.
This is though of his mind that made him not trust Jana and that way he saw them retreated, Paul felt like they were doing their job as a player for money and wealth.
" You still haven't answered my question, Jana..."
Jana is still silent and has no reason since it's true that if it's somebody else, she probably won't save that person since she's been order to retreat by system of where she work. The fact that she only save him because she felt strange when hearing Paul's screaming like he heard the voice before and when she saw his face as she felt strange again in his face that she know him for a long time and Paul also felt strange after seeing her beautiful face but Ignore it.
They realize themselves that they have a little memories into each other but they keep denying it. As the Jana felt that Paul cannot trust her, So she answered Paul's question.
"Yes....If that's someone else, Perhaps I won't save that person."
Jana said her true feeling about the question of Paul and He's wasn't surprised about the answer of Jana.
"I thought....so..."
So If I have been not that person and this strange feeling that we know each other for a long time ago, I wouldn't have been save by her.. huh....I don't know anything about my past since I forgot them for some reason but now I know that real face of players...Well I can't blame them since this world is meant for survival only.
"Since I'm fully recovered and I can use my skills thanks to your potion, I guess it's time for us to part ways.."
Jana agreed since she has no choice and she want to more about Paul since this strange feeling is driving her crazy but decided to forget and she think that she mistake him for someone else.
"I understand..." Jana felt disappointed as true always hurt when it will hurt someone.
So this is it...I don't know why I save him but it's strange...so strange and why I'm feeling sad and disappointed at the same time I wanna know why this person who I didn't even know is making me sad. Did I mistake him for someone? I don't think so... Then why...
Jana is confused why it's making her sad for stranger he just save a while ago, However, She decided to stick with him and oppose of them to separate path.
"No!!, I wanna come with you, Paul, I wanna know you....
Paul was rejected her since he doesn't trust a player anymore.
"I refuse..."
Jana know that he can't change Paul's mind since she knows that he doesn't trust her anymore. But she didn't give up and said.
"I saved your life...You said you owed me 1...I wanna tag with you until we get out of this city.."
I don't know if I could trust her since If she didn't mastake for someone else, I would have died and I kinda lost fate earlier and not to mention that I almost died in those goblins, but thanks to her that I was alive...I guess... she's a bit different but I can't still trust her yet...and it's safe to be tagged along with her, I mean she's powerful.
"Ok... Since you wanna come that badly...then you can tagged along..."
Jana was suprised when she thought earlier that he will reject her which she will be sad since she's really felt like she met him a long time ago and it's like he's like a important person to her.
I wanna know about Paul because it's feel something strange in my heart. back then, I couldn't sleep properly because of a person I seeing in my dream everyday. It's like a memory about something important to me that was erased a long time ago..that I couldn't remember it's face. but now it's feel different now when I heard his voice and When we face to face, That when a strange feeling that's my heart that was always crying and now... it's not crying when I saw him, it felt normal.
Jana's goal is find something related about Paul's identity and why she felt sad for a very long time ago.. but now she felt Happy or relieved.
Paul then decide that they should tag along and leave this Place which Jana agree since it will dangerous when nightime so they're leaving the district and Paul explained everything in Jana and they will go where his sister and Giselle's Location is...
"I'll be in your care..You can trust that I won't be a burden to you.."
Paul laughed at what she said since he know she's stronger than him.
"Hahaha!!..How can you be a burden?....you are the one who save me and not to mention that you defeated that many goblins which I can't do.. besides you're a player and I'm not, right?..."
Jana smile and also laughed at him.
"Pfff!!! Now you trust me now.....Even thought we only met earlier It's feel like we had fun to talking to each other even though we have a argument earlier, Hahahaha!!!"
Paul thought felt the same, A feeling the same as Jana like fate meet them together, Both of their strange feeling to each other are mystery, that they can't explained but both feel that a special thing like...a memory between them.
It's funny I feel strange feeling to the person I only met now..What's the mystery between us and it's felt like something is missing, When I saw Jana's beautiful face earlier, I felt stunned but...at the same time, a little memory came to my mind that was erased..
I want to know these strange feeling, is it love?I don't know...Is it a fate? I don't know..But there's another thing I'm looking forward for... it's the journey with Paul..I think it's not coincidence that I met him nor what feeling this is it...but if this person is the person that I always see in my dream..I wanna know what's the special bond about us and why you're so important to me...
"Paul."
Jana called Paul's name and explained something.
"What is it?.." Paul's respond.
"I know that you still don't trust me since I'm one of the player that was ordered to retreat and abandoned the mission that you saw earlier and probably left you behind that If I didn't heard for your strange voice that I possibly mistake for someone, I would have left you already...
Now that you know and aware to the nature of the players of this world, we are not like television that you're seeing, To all of us, survival is important part for us since we also scared to die and you thought of us, player, as a hero.. that's where you are wrong, we are not hero, we're coward, being scared of death.
Paul felt silence while Jana is explaining what's a player and he know and understand that she was right the players are scared of dying after he saw their face being scared, Death is the terrifying thing in the world, The World has become a survival place that only those who have power to fight and even if you're a strong player or a weath player, there's time that you will die if you became weak.
"You're right...I saw those players's face being stared, I thought that Player are not coward and they willing to sacrifice for the people, until I realized that when I saw those players who are dying are afraid..in the end, Dying is the scariest thing in this world."
Jana was shocked that he understood what's she was saying to him until now.. Earlier he despise players now he's not and he realized that it's not the players's fault that they are abandoning people that they can't save, it's this new world..
"Pffft!..Hahahahah!!!" Jana can't stop laughing
"Did I say something funny?" Paul feel annoyed that Jana is laughing even though it's serious.
"It's not that..Ha..Ha..Ha..You didn't realize that you suddenly change your view about player even though you're complaining about earlier that they're abandoning people.."
"....." Paul can't say a word while Jana is teasing him.
"Hahahahhahahah!!"
Paul smiled in her as he the view in Jana and he now know that he can trust her, not because the strange feeling earlierbut a strange comfort feeling in both of them that he changed view of her. As they now focused on their to the location of his Sister, Shirley and Giselle.
Meanwhile, Unexpected event is happening which summons more goblins in the around the every district and the district of Giselle and Shirley's whereabouts is one of them.
