Chapter 3: The Vet

Its around 12:30. I pick the dog up and put her in the car. I rapped a piece of cloth around her mouth so she wouldn't bite me. I set her in the back and I get in the front. I start driving towards the veterinarians office. Im not really sure where it is so I looked it up. Im really nervous and excited because im hoping we can keep her. I pull into the parking lot and pick her up. I walk in and get her weighted. The doctor brings the dog and I into one of the check-up rooms. Im not really sure what he was doing. He drew some blood gave her shots and sent us on our way. I'll get the results in a few days. We head home. As i pull in the driveway. My wife walks out. I park the car and get out, grab the dog and walk towards her. The dog starts growling a little. I set her in the house after unwrapped her snout. "How'd it go" she asked, "She got her shots and we'll have the results of her blood work in a few days". I can tell she's excited about having a new pup in our little family of her and I. We walk in, by the time I got home it was around 1:40 so i made my wife and I a sandwich. We eat as we watch the dog. I figured she was hungry so i made the dog a sandwich. Turns out she likes them. "Whatcha wanna do with the rest of the day". "We should probably go to the store and get a small bag of dog food for her". "Yeah". My wife and I head to the car and head to the store. It didn't cost much so we bought a food bowl too. When we got home I poured some food into the bowl and set it in front of the dog. She ate it all down so i refilled it she ate about half so I left it at that and finished my day.
