Chapter 9: The start of a new era! (Backstory)
In Alena's room at night.
After Alena fell asleep, the tattoos on her body started to gather moonlight from the moonlight that was shone in from the window.
After four hours of absorbing moonlight the tattoos on Alena's mark suddenly started glowing a hazy royal purple and another vine-like tattoo started crawling up from her waist and up her back. After reaching her neck, the vine-like tattoo stopped and the other tattoos looked as if they were about to come to life, and the glowing faded.
Meanwhile, in Aurora's room. Aurora can be seen with Amara next to foggy white blobs that covered the entire room."Dear, this is a lot of souls that have to go through reincarnation. What happened in the mortal world?"
Amara replied with a sour face "Apparently our dear sister went on a rampage again after she promised to make the death counts less than the last time she went of a rampage in the mortal world. I'm guessing a new Era is going to begin in the mortal world."
"Oh? Your sister? Do you mean the Asura Battle Goddess? I mean it is in her nature to completely forget promises when she is a war you know? She just loves killing people, she says that the sensation of beheading someone is better than just killing them in any other way."
Aurora then continued to take each soul and sent them into the reincarnation cycle. Amara helped out by constantly supplying Aurora with Divine Energy.
After the entire ordeal was finished, Aurora collapsed on the bed limply with sweat on her back drenched and her forehead sweating waterfalls.
Amara seeing this, smirked slightly, and climbed on top of Aurora.
"Wait dear! Can we please not go at it today? I'm still tired from exhausting my energy sending those souls into the reincarnation cycle!"
Amara chuckled slightly and whispered in Aurora's ear "You didn't let me go when you crucified me for an entire day though? So I'm just returning the favor. Plus, it's been a while since we did it no?"
Amara continued to lick Aurora's earlobes, his hot breath was like an electric current that went through Aurora's nerves. She whimpered lightly and with her face as red as a ripe tomato, she turned her head away and closed her eyes.
Amara took this as a sign of consent and proceeded down her collar bone.

While all of these events were happening in the immortal realm, the mortal realm was going through a great change.
Wars were raging, countless people died, and the fact that the wars between the six main races haven't even begun sent the entire mortal realm into a panic.
On the planet called 'Xesora' there are countless sub-races such as druids and Undeads, the six main races of the world are Human, Dragons, Elves, Dwarves, Beastmen, and Demons. On earth, the population had reached about eight billion people. But here on Xesora, the population of all the living entities that have intelligence had reached a staggering twenty billion, along with the otherworlders that will arrive soon, the planet will reach a population of twenty-eight billion intelligent entities.
The geographical features of the entire planet would be remarkably simple. The sea separates six mass pieces of land, and the six mass pieces of land are divided into countless smaller landmasses by countless amounts of huge rivers and mountains. And the only way to get to the other pieces of land would be through another piece of land that connects all other pieces of land.
(just imagine one inner circle, then imagine five outer circles surrounding it with a line connecting it with the inner circle. But the inner circle is bigger than the outer circles.)
The Inner piece of land was inhabited by demons, and the outer piece of land that had countless mountains in it belonged to the Dragons. The other pieces of land all have similar geographical features, many lush forests, rivers, mountains, and plains, and were each inherited by a different race.
Of course, this didn't mean that other races couldn't come to other race's continent. For example, the Dragons and Dwarves have a good relationship, the Elves and the Beastmen were extremely close. However, the human race has a neutral relationship with all other races except the demon race.
The demon race, the race that is shunned upon, having even the slightest drop of demon blood in you will incur the wrath of countless people. They have plundered and destroyed at least ten of each race's strongholds, and have murdered more than billions.
The five races have suffered for a long time under the suppression of the demon race. And they had finally decided that they had enough of the cruelty of the demon race.
They set up a secret meeting between the dragon, dwarf, elf, beastmen, and the human race, sending only the leaders of their race.
They had schemed and devised a plan to exterminate the demon race and finally bring peace to their lands.
The cost of exterminating the demon race was tremendous, the leaders of each race were cursed. They were doomed to die at the young age of thirty. And only ten billion out of twenty billion people of the five races survived. The had also left a message for the leaders of each race that crushed their hope of attaining world peace.
This was what he said with his last breath, "ɦǟɦǟɦǟɦǟ! ɨ ʍɨɢɦȶ ɮɛ ӄɨʟʟɛɖ! ȶɦɛ ɖɛʍօռ ʀǟƈɛ ʍɨɢɦȶ ɮɛ ɛӼȶɛʀʍɨռǟȶɛɖ! ɮʊȶ ȶɦɛ քɛǟƈɛ ʏօʊ ʏɛǟʀռ ʄօʀ ֆօ ʍʊƈɦ աɨʟʟ ռɛʋɛʀ ɮɛ ǟƈɦɨɛʋɛɖ! ֆȶʀօռɢɛʀ ǟռɖ ƈʀʊɛʟɛʀ ɛռȶɨȶɨɛֆ աɨʟʟ ȶǟӄɛ ʍʏ քʟǟƈɛ! ʏօʊ ֆɦǟʟʟ ռɛʋɛʀ ʟɨʋɛ օʊȶֆɨɖɛ օʄ ʄɛǟʀ!"
When the demon king finally died, the world rejoiced! The leaders of their respective races were named heroes. But little did they know that calamity was upon them.
In the next two years, the population of each race was gradually reaching the standard before the demon king was killed. Although the pace was slow, it was still there. The five races signed a peace treaty and retreated to their territories. And there was temporary peace on the planet of Xesora. Although they didn't know that except the five heroes' families.
They started to rebuild their nation and discovered and invented many miraculous things. Magic has been constantly progressing as the planet Xesora's rate of mana regeneration increased from the lack of mana absorption from half of the planet's population.
This Era was named 'The light Era'. Which symbolizes the light that comes after the darkness that they've gone through. The five races had also created a common language that they will all use, called Japanese.
(Don't mind the language, just some culture will be part Japanese and part Chinese)
The population of the human race is now four billion. The population of the elf race is now three billion. The population of the dragon race is now two billion. The population of the dwarf race is now four billion. And the population of the beastmen race is now five billion.
The five races had been trying to repopulate their race, so they had been mating like rabbits. Now, the norm was that each family had at least three children. Even though before it was only one to two children.
The leaders of the five-races were now twenty-eight years old. And each of them had one child, they know that they will be dead by their thirtieth birthday, so they tried their best to enjoy their life to the fullest before that time comes.
However, on a certain week of a certain year, a peculiar event happened. For the entire week, all the families on the planet all suddenly started going into labor. For this entire week, all the midwives were busy.
Around three billion human babies, two billion elf babies, one billion dwarf babies, and two billion beastmen babies were born, and one billion dragon eggs were laid.
All the babies that were born between that time had substantial mana reserves within them.
This event was called the 'Mana Born Event', everyone born in this time period was called mana borns. Although later on they were discovered to be immortal, they were instead named False Immortals, as they had the strength of normal people, but they can never truly die. They would be found back at the place where they had died twenty-four hours later.
After another year, the heroes were now one year away from their deathbed, they have developed strange diseases that no one could cure. They decided to meet at the place where they had killed the demon king.
At the meeting place, the human hero was the first to arrive, followed by the dragon, elf, beastmen, and finally the dwarf hero.
The human hero's name is Kyuseishu, which means savior. He was born in the slums and had a sun marking on his back since he was born. He entered the military at the young age of fifteen and was found to have an extraordinary talent for one-handed axes. He gained his first military achievement at the tender age of seventeen and rose in ranks quickly. At the age of twenty-three, he had reached a rank of General.
The dragon hero was named Enshin. He was born into the royal family of dragons and had an exceptional talent for using broadsword when in human form. When using his dragon form, his favorite style of attack is to use his fire breath that can melt even mana infused obsidian crystals.
The elf hero was named kireina. She was also born a royal family of elves and had an outstanding talent for the bow and arrow. She had a hobby of exploring and found a divine bow called Kaze yuminomai in an abandoned ruin outside of the elf kingdom. She specializes in creating bow techniques that can rival demigods, she is also a master in alchemy, recognizing all herbs in existence and being able to make tier nine potions. Her most famous technique is called Kaze no Ibuki, a set of breathing techniques focusing on drawing wind mana from the surrounding and infusing it with her arrows making it able to follow the target even if the person in question dodges using the wind to propel the arrow towards the target.
The beastmen hero liked to be called Yuki, but her real name is kitsune and she is a snow fox variant of the beastmen race. She is the queen of hunters, with two fox pets at her side she is unbeatable within a snow-covered mountain, a forest, or any place with dark shadows and large patches of snow.
And lastly, the dwarf hero Kinzoku. He is a master of blacksmithing and mana enchanting. He is the one who creates and repairs all the equipment used by the other heroes. He is presumably the best there is in his generation.
When they got to the location where they were supposed to meet, instead of a flattened area, there was a massive tower that went beyond the clouds.
The heroes were curious as to what the tower was, but at the same time fearful of the prophecy the demon king brought. They tried going through the giant gateway enough to fit one hundred thousand dragons through the door at the same time.
However, a barrier was erected the moment they got to the gateway. They tried everything they could to break the barrier but to no avail.
They continued to discuss for a long time before going back to their respective continent to tell their race about the potential danger.
Another year had passed, and the mana born children were now found to be able to 'revive' themselves. They were now called False Immortals. They were now two years old and were also found to have knowledge beyond their age capabilities.
The heroes had died, but their children will be the new leaders of their race. The heroes had created a specific training program for their children so that they can get stronger even without them being there.
They had also left a message for them regarding the God Tower, which was decided by the five heroes as the name of the tower they couldn't access. As long as they pass a certain test left by their parent their other parent would tell relay the message to them.
And time went by as the tower loomed over the five races.

(Don't ask me how eight billion people were born within a week, go ask the system. Also the dragons born are not players because the system did not give them an option to choose dragon. And I just decided to get rid of dryads because no one would choose that, except maybe a small group of individuals that like dryads and/or their playstyle. Also for the language, the players will have a skill called Japanese proficiency if they don't know the language. Some names will still be in English, some in Japanese, and skills that use Japanese words with have this <>(Text)<>. And I decided I will change Alena's stat again next chapter.)
