His all-knowing voice reverberates through my skull, I nod instinctively, I ready my stance for flight and widen my wings waiting for Sam to mount my back. She touches my front leg insistently. I look at her questioningly, her voice becomes louder in my head and in my ears. I've missed what she said, I should've expected her to have questions now that she's been exposed to that… I've no idea what it's called. I'm certain of where to go, I never should've doubted her. Sam was right.
Samantha, calm down. I'll answer and explain while we go there alright?
I look at her waiting for her to argue. To my surprise, she only nods and carefully climbs onto my back slightly behind my shoulders, where my wings sprout from my body. Hopefully, our future isn't cut short.
