Chapter 3: Ch.3: Cheesy Love

I look out through the window and try to clear my mind. I can't seem to get those eyes out of my head… those bright blue eyes. I realize everyone and Ms. Arina looking expectantly at me; I stare back clueless
"What? I apologize, "I didn't hear you…" I say shyly. Mrs. A sighs and smiles as if nothing happened, I feel my cheeks heat up quickly, my face turning bright red.
"I said, 'Do you know how to get the volume for this object'?" she holds a coin up between her index finger and thumb,
"I hope you know this because this was on your assignment yesterday." She scolds, putting her tiny hands on her slender hips.
"Oh, it's simple. You just fill a graduated cylinder, record the measure, drop the coin in the cylinder, and record the measure again, subtract those two measures and the answer is the volume." I say, thankful for reciting what I did manage study last night. She and a few other students stare at me impressed. I really get tired of them underestimating me. It really gets annoying after a while. She looks at me and passes the finals out without another word, I look back at the window thinking about why the dream has come to me now, I mean those eyes weren't human. A piece of paper is set down on my desk, by my neighbor, Karinda. I give a confused look,
"It's from Chris," She says softly, "I promise I didn't read it. He told me to tell you to read this before you leave class." She looks down at her test, trying not to be suspicious as Mrs. Arina walks silently by. I don't say a word and carefully open the note
Hey beautiful,
I'm not sure if Karinda told you to meet me in my car at lunch. I have to tell you something important, and I was wondering if you could go on a date with me… your father already agreed to it. Alright, I almost got caught, well, I'll end this note with me thinking of you.
Have a great morning thinking of me, LOL

I smile, tuck the note inside my back pocket, and start my final. I start thinking of him along the way, feeling a hint of a blush filling my cheeks.
