Cara's POV
I've been waiting for 3 hours now. Rosalie never showed up. I go to my room and report to my dad. He says he will arrange a new tutor for me. Guess I'm free for the day. I decide to take a walk. Our territory is beautiful. Dad set up these fancy fish ponds and exotic flower gardens. I sit on a stone by the pond. He has so many rare breed fishes.
"Would you mind if I join you?"
I see a dark handsome wolf. He has blue eyes and silver hair. He's wearings ripped shorts like my dad's warriors. I guess he's one of the bodyguards.
"And you are?"
"I'm Reinhart. Reinhart Huxley."
"I'm Cara."
"Yeah I know you. Your dad told me about you."
"He sent you to spy on me?"
"What! No! He asked me to go talk to you."
"No thanks!"
"Aww come on. We can go cycling or fishing."
"Don't wanna."
"There must be something you like."
"I like riding my motorcycle."
"Alright let's go!!"
"Dad won't let me. He even chained my poor baby motorcycle."
"I'm gonna go and bring it back."
"He won't agree."
"He might. I'll go ask my dad to convince your dad. They are close."
"Go ahead and try."
I'm sure he will be denied. So I sit by the pond and try to make a flower crown. When I was younger I used to make crowns and make uncle Jake wear those.
"HEY LOOKIE HERE!!"
I turn my head around and see Reinhart waving at me. He's riding my motorcycle!!
"OMG!! Where did you get it?"
"I convinced your dad"
"It took you 5 minutes to convince my dad?"
"Told ya!! Stick with me and you'll know how talented I am!"
"OMG! I love you. You're the best!"
"Jump on."
"Excuse me? This is mine. Get off! I'm driving."
"Whaaaaa...not fair. I got this for you and you're ditching me?"
"You can still sit behind me."
"Ooookkk."
"Sit tight."
Reinhart sits behind me grabbing my waist. We fly off with my motorcycle.
We spend the day together. We catch butterflies, swim in the waterfall, make flower crowns for each other, sing silly songs. We get back in the evening. It was really fun. I'm happy to have a friend finally. We park the motorcycle in front of the pack house. Then sit by the pond again. He lets his head on shoulder.
"Eww move, you're sweaty!"
He seems embarrassed and takes of his sweaty shirt. He has a huge tattoo on his back. It's so beautiful I can't take my eyes off his back.
"Rain where did you get this tattoo? It's beautiful!"
"Oh this? My mother did this for me. She loves tattoos. You want to get one?"
"Sure."
"But it'll hurt. Can you take the pain?"
"Rude! I already have one."
"Really? Where?"
I blush. It's on my waist. I had to cry for two days long to convince uncle Jake to get me this tattoo.
"Umm actually...I'll show you some other time...."
"You don't have one right? You're gonna go get one to show off."
"I have it. It's somewhere I can't show you."
"Ahh come on. I won't tell your dad."
So I pull up my dress and show him. It's a small kitty cat tattoo.
"You have a cat tattoo? That's so cute!"
"Isn't it?"
"Yeah."
"If it was my dad or Arya they'd probably say it's ugly and childish."
"I'm not like others."
"I know. You're the perfect one. The second best man I've ever met."
"Who's the first?"
"It's my uncle. Jake Abraham Novak."
"The former alpha?"
"Yes. He's like a father to me."
"Oh wow I've heard about him. He was the best of his time."
"He still is."
"I'm sure he is. Why don't you introduce me to him?"
"He.. ummm.. he's busy."
"It's ok. I'm glad that he's busy. Otherwise he won't let me be near you."
"Why?"
"Long story. He doesn't like my father."
"Ohhh why?"
He looks at me for a long time without blinking. Then sighs.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Go ahead."
"If you have to marry someone who would you choose me or Arya?"
"Of course you! You're the best!"
"Really?"
"Yep."
"It's a promise then. I'm gonna go ask your dad for your hand."
"He'll have a heart attack. He's desperate to get me married to Arya."
"Let's go give him a heart attack then."
I jump like a snow raabit. This is going to be interesting. He's so funny. I'm glad I made a friend like him.
