Cara's POV
I wake up and find myself tied up with chains. My father is sitting right in front of me.
"You're awake finally".
"Hmph isn't that alpha Joshua? How do you feel betraying your own brother and daughter? Must be thrilling."
"I'm not as heartless as you think. It breaks my heart to tie you up like this."
"It sure does. I can even hear the sound of your heart breaking."
"Are you making fun of me?"
"Absolutely not. You're worthless than that."
"You can't talk to your father like that!", Arya storms in.
"Oho! It's alpha junior! My father's little toy. Good morning." I blow a kiss to him.
"Wha... Wh...what are you doing? Shameless woman!"
"And he's s virgin too. You didn't find your mate? Poor baby."
"This is not how you talk to your alpha!!"
"Absolutely right! But you're not the alpha. I am."
"That's what I'm saying!! You are the alpha", my dad jumps like a rabbit.
"What are you talking about?", Arya seems mad.
"Oh right! I was about to say you're the Luna. You have to marry the alpha. And you will marry Arya."
"Yes you have to marry me and be my Luna".
"Go f*** yourself".
"WHAT!!!".
"I mean go prepare my breakfast. I'm so hungry I can't even think of decent words."
"Uhh... yeah.. sure". He runs outside.
"And you're about to replace me with him, Dad?"
"No no no! No my dear. You're my child. You deserve to be the alpha. How can a low breed replace you? I always wanted you to be on top. You're the one always running away."
"Wait...you want me to be the alpha?"
"Of course. You're the chosen one. You will stay here with Daddy and daddy's gonna make you the strongest."
"To be your shield right?"
"No to be my pride. I'm a changed man now. I want my daughter to be on my side."
"Alright lemme out first".
"Not happening. You're too strong. I can't risk my pack's safety."
"Then keep me here but let uncle Jake go."
"Why do you care about him so much?"
"Cause he's my father".
"I AM YOUR FATHER!"
"Yeah the father that abandoned me."
"I didn't".
"You did!".
"I'm sorry about my acts in the past. But now I've changed. I'll take care of you from now."
"Dream on! He already adopted me."
"How dare he! He didn't even ask for my permission."

"It was not needed."
"I am your father don't forget that."
"You're pretty much invisible in our lives dad."
He looks shocked, sad and broken at the same time. He looks at me silently for a moment then walks away.
