Joshua's POV
My dream was to become the strongest alpha of history. But compared to my twin I was weak by birth. That good for nothing Jake was better than me in everything. But he choose to be a disappointment. He'd run away and travel to everywhere neglecting his duties. He gets everything easily but I have to work hard to get them. Life is unfair! I'm the one working hard but he gets all the attention. From our parents, friends and even pack members. I practiced so hard but I could never match his strength. Good thing he quit and passed his position to me. But I still feel there's something missing. How can he be happy with his life full of disappointments but I can't? Life is unfair!!
After we had Cara my wife passed away. This was bound to happen. She was born too strong her mother couldn't bear it. I had to do my duties as the alpha. So I left her with my parents. Everything was fine until she started behaving like him. She was lazy, free willed, wild. She started saying she doesn't want to be the alpha. I decided to take her back. When I got to know Arya awakened his wolf earlier than her. I choose Arya to be my pet. He was hard working, brilliant and obedient. He'd be a great alpha. He had one condition he wants to marry Cara. Although I hate the idea letting my daughter marry a low breed but there's no other way. So I promised to give her to him when he becomes the alpha.
Years after that I met Cara. I was really shocked she looked just like Jake riding his motorcycle. On top of that she said she left school and started living with him. Stealing my dreams was not enough now he's stealing my daughter. I was about to drag her back home with me. But she ran away. After that I could not find her for another few months.
Arya kept bugging me about the marriage. I knew this day would come. I don't really want my daughter to marry him. He may be strong but he's too naive. If I had any other options I would never agree to let him marry Cara.
I lied to him and said she's studying business. After graduation I'll let them get married. I kept searching for her. Finally caught Jake. He had guts to let my daughter live in that shabby wooden house. 20 of my men was injured catching him alive. Arya was the only one to match his strength. I knew Cara will come looking for him so I ordered Issac to keep an eye on that house.
And she came. I was beyond happy. Now everything will be perfect. Arya gets to marry her and be my puppet for the rest of his life. I can make my pack stronger and invade others. I can be the king of kings. My dream comes true.
For some reason God really hates me. Cara didn't only come for Jake. She came to kill me. Judging from her strength I thought she awakened her wolf but no she didn't. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her slaughtering my strongest men alone. I started shaking in fear. Jake was the strongest. He could only injure my guards. She was different. She killed without hesitation.She looked like a Demi God swinging that axe. I couldn't imagine what she'd do if she was awakened. She even knocked Arya unconscious in one hit. This is what real power is! This is the height where me or Arya could never reach with just hardwork.
I can't let her leave!! I tricked her into believing I'm letting her go with Jake and knocked her unconscious. She might be strong but she doesn't have a wolf yet. She's just a human.
I'll keep her here from now on. Train her, make her the strongest. I don't need to hand her over to that low breed. Life is finally fair!
