Cara's POV
After we came back from our last trip I decided to visit my grandparents again. It feels so good being at home with your family. Uncle Jake didn't come. He said he's gonna be here in a week. Then four of us can go on camping in the woods. Finally!!
It's been 10 days but uncle Jake never showed up. I wonder what's wrong? Did he forget? No. He's not like that. He definitely won't forget something he promised me.
"Cara dear what are you doing early in the morning?", Grandma seems surprised.
"Oh grandma good morning! I'm gonna go and drag uncle Jake's sorry ass back here. I'll be back before dinner".
"Oh dear you've become just like him. Be careful with that motorcycle. Take care!"
"See you in a bit. Bye!"
So here I am in our little wooden cabin. Yes this is our house. Despite of being an alpha I live in this shabby cabin with him. Oh right he's an alpha too. Can you believe this is where two powerful and worthless alphas live? This place may look shabby from outside but not from inside. We have piles of books, closets full of traditional clothing, swords, glass bead curtains, band posters, exotic plants, ses shells,suveniers from around the world. We kept everything we collected from our journey. But the things I like most are the wind chimes. We have over hundreds of wind chimes. Uncle Jake loves chimes. He says when we come back we can hear the chimes from far it's like the cabin is welcoming us.
Something is off today. It's quite windy but i don't hear the chimes. What's wrong? Did he throw them away?
I reach home and get off my motorcycle. What the hell!! The chimes!! Someone broke every last of the chimes. I storm inside. OMG!! Our cabin is a mess. Someone barged in and broke everything. Who would do such a thing? We don't have anything valuable in here. I run upstairs. Everything's broken here too. Wait a sec is that blood stain!! Someone attacked uncle Jake? Is he hurt?
My mind goes blank. What do I do? I have to call grandpa and dad. I have to find uncle Jake. I can't lose him. So I rush to get my phone. That's when I see him. Issac!! My dad's beta. What's he doing here?
"Issac what are you doing here?"
"Hello Miss Cara. The alpha sent you this."
"This...this.. this is uncle Jake's earcuff !! I made it for his birthday! WHERE DID YOU GET THIS!!"
"Calm down. The alpha will answer you."
"Dad did this?"
"He did what he thought right"
"Why you....."
"Calm down and sit in the car if you want to meet your uncle"
"I'm not sitting in there. You drive I'll follow you in my motorcycle."
"As you wish."
I can feel my blood boiling. How dare he do this!! Even if he's my father this is unacceptable!!
Alright I need to think about it again. Why'd he do this? Probably he's up to something. I don't trust him. I go inside and bring my viking axe with me. This was a gift from a businessman from Denmark. I still don't have my wolf but that doesn't mean I'm weak. If Dad tries to do anything funny I have to knock some senses in his brain.
I follow Issac to our pack house. It's massive as always. Decorated with velvet walls and marble floor. My dad loves to show off his weapon collection to others. Hundreds of weapons are hanging from the walls. Issac takes me to my dad's office.
"Miss Cara you have to wait outside. The alpha is discussing something important with Arya."
I try to wait patiently but I can't keep calm. What if something bad happened to Uncle Jake? You know what f*** this!! I kick the gigantic fig wood door. It breaks into pieces like a popsicle stick.
"Cara!! My darling daughter! Did you awaken your wolf?"
"Cut the crap old fox!! Where is he?"
"Who?"
"Uncle Jake. Where did you take him?"
"I need you to calm down and listen to me. This is very important."
"Tell me where he is or I will drag your sorry ass out and make you eat dust."
"I'd love to see you try. Issac call in your men. Whoever beats her can have the car I bought last week."
"Sir, I think that's too much. She doesn't have a wolf yet", Issac looks uneasy.
"I don't think so. She's carrying a demigod axe. She can't be that weak."
The guards storm in. SWEET!! I can finally go wild. It takes me only a few minutes to cut all my dad's bodyguards heads and tear down the pack house.
"JOSHUA!!! IT'S YOUR TURN." Even the bravest man will be scared to death if I growl this loud.
"C..Cara... listen to me. I'm your alpha."
"You think you can barge in our house and kidnap uncle Jake just because you're the alpha!"
"Arya stop her she's out of control."
Oh so this is Arya? He's become a puppet of my dad now? I didn't notice him earlier. He's about a feet taller than me and has a well built body. Also he awakened his wolf. I'll be a little hard to beat him. He transforms into a massive wolf. God!! He's too strong. I don't know if my axe can keep up with his speed. I take a few steps back and run towards him. Maybe I made a mistake judging him. His eyes look like an innocent pup. I feel pity I can't kill him. I hit him with the back of my axe. He loses balance and hits the ground. I believe he's unconscious for now. I turn to my dad.
"Is that the alpha you're raising to replace me dad? He can't even beat a malnutrished kid from World War II", I laugh.
I can see terror on his face. Should I mock him a lil more? No this is not a time to play around. I need to rescue uncle Jake. I walk close to him and grab him by collar.
"Now alpha Joshua you will give uncle Jake back or I will have to chop off a few more heads."
"Alright but promise me you'll leave after that"
"Huh gladly!!"
"OK follow me."
He takes me to a secret door behind the shelfs of his office. Looks creepy and dark.
"You're keeping him here? I swear I'll pluck your eyes out if you tortured him."
"There he is."
I try to see but it's too dark. I turn back to my dad and he's gone. Oh shit!! I made a mistake! I forgot wolfs can see in dark. I run to the entrance when something hits me in the neck. I feel numb.
"Sorry dear now that I have witnessed your strength I can't let you leave."
I feel my dad dragging me to somewhere before I pass out.
