Cara's POV (13 year old)
I was raised by my grandparents. After my mom died dad focused on growing his pack and never really paid attention to me. So my grandpa the former alpha took me with him and trained me with my cousin Arya. My father has a twin brother. He and his wife are traveling around the world and left their son with my grandparents. He's my only friend and rival. Although saying rival is too much. I'm a born alpha. But I don't really care about power and all those stuff. I always slack off. I enjoy lazying around and make Arya do my works. He's so sweet he never complains. I love Arya he's my best friend!!!
I'm making a card for his birthday. I'm gonna surprise him. Also I baked a cake for him which is horrible to taste. I can't give it to him he might have food poisoning if he eats my failure.
Arya's POV(15 year old)
I love cara. She's the only one that cares about me. She baked a cake for my birthday. Even my parents don't remember my birthday. Although the cake was disgusting but I don't mind. She worked hard to make me happy that's enough for me. My parents never has time for me. Grandpa always talks about training and power. I can only rely on her. Tell her every secret. She's a great listener. I want to be with her forever and ever!! Please moon goddess make her mine.
She's a born alpha. So she's most possibly be mated with another alpha. I'm trying my best to be the strongest. I'm not born alpha but I can become one if I work hard. That's how Cara's father my uncle became our alpha. Cause my father wasn't really the keeper type. He gave up his position to his brother. I'll work hard train hard to be her match. Anything for her.
I'm 15 now. I don't have my wolf yet. When I have my wolf I'm gonna start going on hunts with my pack. Maybe then grandpa will notice me and let me marry Cara.
It's a little secret I didn't even tell Cara. I brought a ring for her. I'm gonna propose to her tonight.
"Cara come up here", Arya waves at cara from the tree house he built. It's their secret hideout.
"I can't get up that high. My ankles will hurt"
"You're such a lazy bum. Get up here and I'll give you my jello packets"
"For real!! Wait and see here I come"
"You're so easy to read. How will you ever be the alpha like this?"
"Who says I want to be alpha? I want to play and sleep and eat marshmallows and catch fish with grandpa and swim with you and....."
"Yeah yeah I get it. Why don't you want to be alpha?"
"It's too tiring. You have to do all those paperworks and give longgggg speeches. I don't wanna"
"You sound like my dad"
"Yeah I want to be like uncle Jake. He's so cool!"
"But you're the only child who will be alpha if not you?"
"You will"
"Me?"
"Yeah your dad used to be the alpha before my dad. You can be one too"
"If I be the alpha will you marry me then?"
"I'll marry you even if you can't be the alpha. I love you this much"
Arya pulls out a box from his sleeve.
"I got something for you"
"Let me see let me see"
"It's a wedding ring. I got this from Grandma. She wore this on her wedding. I'm giving it to you. It's a promise when I grow up I will take you as my bride."
"It's pretty"
"Yes it is. Let me put it on your finger."
"Cara dear where did you find this", grandpa asks surprised.
"Oh this? Arya gave it to me. It's grandma's wedding ring. He said he'll take me as his bride when we grow up".
"Is that true Arya?"
"Yes grandpa when I become alpha give her to me".
"Hahaha gladly. It's a promise then"
