Chapter 81: Training in the Chamber
The tournament was quite normal as Kirito and Eugeo made it to the final easily were Kirito won in the end.
John, on the other hand, was having eyes for the match that would decide the third place. Having a tall youngster and a refined woman fight against each other.
"They seem fit to join. Can you tell them to meet me at the inn, once the celebration is over," says John as he stands up knowing who would win.
Nesiara follows him with the twins when Nesiara says, "The girl will win."
"I know even a blind could see that. The boy only has a body but no technique he is only wildly swinging his sword," says John as they left the tournament leaving the two students and daughter behind.
They walked through the city as he bought some candy for the twins that aren't sold in Centoria.
Arriving at the inn they were awaited by the four people that made it into the semifinals. They were sitting around a table when a pouch landed on their table.
"Go and buy horses for you all. We will be traveling to Centoria beginning tomorrow in the morning," says John as he passes them while booking another room for the boys while telling the girl to sleep with the girls.
They go to buy themselves horses when Yui returns with the others and waves at the four as they pass her.
Then she walks over towards her father and mother while saying, "It seems you weren't surprised that Lys won the match."
"She isn't strong but has control, not like Kiryu," says John as Yui smiled at her parents.
"Any way where did the four go?" asks Yui as John sighs.
"They went to buy horses to leave tomorrow," says John as Nesiara puts the twin down.
"How were your days with Sortiliena?" asks Nesiara as she sees her daughter smile.
"It was quite fun," says Yui as she hugs her mother.
She then gives her father a kiss on his cheek before passing him with Sortiliena to leave the inn again.
"She hates me, doesn't she?" asks John as Nesiara giggles a bit about his comment.
"She doesn't hate you. She just wants you to trust her and not protect her as if she is a little girl. She is already fourteen after all," says Nesiara as she explained it to John why she mostly avoided him.
"Maybe I really am overprotective," says John when Nesiara hits her elbow into his ribs.
"You will still play Overprotective Dad until she is eighteen. I can't play the bad guy but you are a master at it," says Nesiara as John was holding his ribs as it felt like some broke by the hit.
"Woman you want to kill me," says John as Nesiara smiles at him.
"That was a warning for you not to hold back. She can protest as much she wants but for now, she is still too young and innocent about everything," says Nesiara as an Aura appeared around her scaring the twins that hide behind their father.
"Alright, it's not like I would stop from one day to the other," says John as he picks both toddlers up putting them on his shoulder.
"Mama is scary," says Kieron as he was hugging John's head while Nora nods in agreement doing the same.
Nesiara makes her aura disappear as she says, "Sorry my babies. How about some candy or ice-cream."
This bought their trust as they almost immediately jumped boats and they jumped into their mother's arms who cuddled with them.
They finished eating dinner when Kirito and the others returned and John says, "You should eat something before going to sleep. We will see you all tomorrow morning."
Kirito and the others began to eat when Eugeo says, "He hadn't changed much."
"Yeah, still cold as ice when he needs to be," says Kirito as the other both looked confused at them.
"What are you talking about?" asks Lys confused.
"We were talking about the teacher of the Academy. He lived in our village before and instructed us while living there," says Eugeo when Lys and Kiryu dropped their food.
"Is that why you two are so strong?" asks Lys curious about this theme now.
"He trained Eugeo and fought against me defeating me easily every time. But most of the time we were building up strength," says Kirito explaining their relationship with John and his family.
They talked for a while until it became quite late as they went to their rooms to sleep to be fit for the next day.
The next morning John entered the carriage with Nesiara, the twins, and Dino because Yui wanted to mount on Inu to ride together with the others.
They made their way back with a small fight against bandits that they took care of as John sends Volo earlier towards Centoria to inform that they will be arriving soon to organize everything for the new students since they would arrive almost at night.
They arrived at Centoria and Fang was waiting for them at the gate with Volo. Fang orders Volo to look after the students with Sortiliena as they guide the students away.
"So was it fun?" asks Fang as he sees his master's face.
"It was alright. I still can't understand those nobles that think they are better but at least the children had fun," says John as they entered the city.
They walked towards their house as Fang accompanied them. The twins were already sleeping in John's and Nesiara's arm as they enter the house.
They put them into their beds while Yui went into her room after saying good night to them. John and Nesiara were laying in their bed when Nesiara says, "I think it is time."
"Really?" asks John as he didn't want to put his children through the chamber.
"It will be only more difficult for us if they are only three years old. What if that god uses them against us even if they have the transformers and that seal placed by Logan they could still be taken captive," says Nesiara as John had already thought about that but wasn't completely sure it was needed.
"Fine, what about Yui do we take her too?" asks John as Nesiara nods.
"She will stay for four years with us then she can leave the chamber. The twins will be with us until they are fourteen at least," says Nesiara as her worries were the twins.
Yui can take care of herself if something were to happen because she had Dino, Inu, and Kayle. Both Inu and Dino had experience in fighting against a god while Kayle still hasn't shown her real power.
"Fine I will talk with Fang about my leave of the Academy for a while," says John as he puts the book away he was reading.
"Good I will wait for you in Paradise so we can enter together. I will talk with Yui about it," says Nesiara as she blows the candle down and they go to sleep.
The next morning John was in his office with Fang, Eugeo and Kirito explaining to them that he will be leaving for some days. Kirito and Fang knew what he meant while Eugeo looked at him confused when John says, "I want you to train for the next half year. If you don't reach the place of the 12 strongest Swordsman by the end of the year I will proceed with the plan alone."
"Which plan?" asks Kirito as John and Fang look at him.
"Didn't you think that the Cathedral looks a lot like the Labyrinth we had to climb in Aincrad. We think whoever is in control of everything is in it," says Fang explaining it to Kirito and Eugeo.
"So Alice could be in there?" asks Eugeo curiously.
"Yes, she could be in it," says John reassuring him.
"Alright we will but what will you do with the twins. You can't leave them alone," says Kirito as he thought that John would only enter with Nesiara.
"They will be entering with me and the others. Yui will be staying for four years while the twins will stay until they are sixteen. So take as many pictures you want now because when we return they could have forgotten you," says John as Kirito was completely against John taking Kieron and Nora into the time chamber.
"You have no saying in it as I did. It was Nesiara that suggested it and we are going to do that even if you people are against it," says John as his cold aura was showing.
"I don't want to but Nesiara is right. The God we are going to face could take them captive and use them against us," says John as he then stood up and leaves the office by Hiraishin to enter Paradise.
Once in Paradise, he meets with his family and they enter the Time Chamber while carrying many books into it.
Inside the Time Chamber at first John and Nesiara changed every month to look after the twins in the beginning until they were able to train with them while looking after Yui's training.
After four years Yui was able to turn into Susanoomon as well as the Ancestral version of the Spirits she was carrying in her Digivice. Dino and Inu could turn into Omnimon X if needed to be while Kayle never showed her protocols for now.
Yui looked almost exactly like her mother only her eyes had the determination of her father in them and her height was of a Parker as she was 2,1m tail. She left the Time Chamber after saying her goodbyes for now with Dino and Inu.
Kieron took more after his mother as he was born with a body that could absorb flames as well as Light making him almost the strongest under the sun.
Nora was more like her father as her body absorbed Thunder as well as Light. She could also use the light as her father, not like her brother.
They were trained by their parents until they were twelve when Logan/Alfred appears with three people.
One was 0,5m taller than John. He had Ginger hair and a mustache wearing an armor that was made of gold with the shoulder protectors being blue and having an emblem in them.
Another one had also a golden armor but was a man of normal height. He had blond almost golden hair and red eyes.
And the last was a woman that was wearing a blue dress with armor over it. She was also of normal height as she had green eyes and blond hair.
"Like I told you before I brought your children teachers. This big one is Escanor. The other one is Gilgamesh and the last is Arturia," says Logan/Alfred as Gilgamesh was quite picky how he was presented by Logan/Alfred while the other two were fine about it.
