"Ma'am Mlaire, nasa labas po si Sir Andrew." Aniya ng sekretarya ko.
Hindi ako kumibo. Pinirmahan ko lahat ng documents na kakailanganin mamaya sa conference.
It's been 30 days since that night. Andrew didn't even bother to message me after that scene in the rooftop and now he's outside of my office.
I was about to sign for the last two documents when someone forcely open the door.
"Mlaire!" I heard him calling my name.
"Sige na, lumabas ka na muna. Thank you." Aniya ko.

"Close the door." I uttered in a cold voice.
"D*mn it! What's wrong? I've been calling you Mlaire! F*ck!" Andrew said. Trying to be an innocent one.
"I said, close the d*mn door!" I shouted and lost my control. Naiiyak ako sa sitwasyon na ito.
Bakit? Ano pa bang kailangan kong gawin for him to stay with me.
Napahilamos siya sa kanyang mukha dahil sa inasal ko. He even slammed the door.
"Ano ba? You're making me like an idiot. Just tell me what I have done wrong to you because I don't even remember it, please Mlaire." Andrew clutches her teeth while looking at me.
"Rooftop." I turn my back on him. Naalala ko na naman ang gabing iyon, ang sakit. Ang sakit sakit na makita mo ang taong mahal mong may kahalikang iba.
"Rooftop? What's with the rooftop? For goodness sake Mlaire, just say it!" I heard him punch the table.
I wanted to tell him the story but I can't open my mouth. I remains quiet, earning my energy and courage to face him.
"Look at me Mlaire, please! Don't talk back to me." I feel his warm hand touches my shoulder.
"Read this." I fetch my phone from my bag and give it to him. He look at me confusedly while reading the text message.
"I don't know about this Mlaire. Please, listen to me." Andrew hold my hand sincerely.
I slowly look at him and I saw in his eyes the sincerity.
"Kung hindi ikaw to, sino?" I asks him coldly.
Hindi, hindi ako magpapaniwala sa mga kasinungalingan ng lalaking ito.
I was hurt that night, and he didn't even told me what happened after the meeting.
"I don't know!" He answered with a loud voice.
"Leave." If he's not going to tell me the truth then he should leave my office.
"What? Bullshit*t Mlaire!" Andrew cursed and kick the armchair before him.
I stayed quiet, acting like his actions didn't bother me at all. I heard him say something but I didn't mind to listen.
"Mlaire? Come on, talk to me!" Lumapit siya sa kinauupuan ko't hinablot ang mga hinahawakan kong papeles. Ngunit nalaglag ang mga ito sa sahig dahilan para mas magalit ako sa kanya.
"See? Sige, sirain mo lahat ng gamit dito sa office ko!" I bursted into tears, losing my control for the second time.
"I didn't mean it, Mlaire. Please, believe in me." Andrew wipe my tears and embrace me tightly.
Gusto kong kumawala sa mahigpit na yakap niya pero bakit parang nawala ang lakas kong lumaban.
Nanghihina ang mga tuhod pero pinagsusuntok ko ang dibdib niya dahil sa sobrang galit at inis.
"Sinungaling ka! May humalik sayong babae sa rooftop." Aniya ko habang umiiyak sa dibdib niya.
I heard him chuckles and he cup my face.
"You're over thinking, Mlaire. I remember it." Andrew paused for a while. Tumingin siya ng diretso sa mga mata ko't inilagay niya sa taenga ang ilang hiblang buhok nasa mukha ko.
"Listen to me Mlaire. It's not what you're thinking. That night, I was shocked because I taught after the meeting I can visit you but one of my VIP client offered me to eat on the rooftop. I can't say no since she's a big client and the moment you saw us, as if like we're kissing. We're not, I just help her to get rid off the insect in her neck. Believe me Mlaire, I will never hurt you again. Trust me, okay?" Andrew explained while a smile in his face.
Ano ba? Parang nakonsensya ata ako, hindi ko pa man din siya pinansin ng isang buwan. Laging kong sinasabi sa maid na wala ako sa bahay, pumunta kung saan saang meeting.
"Wait, are you jealous?" Tumawa ito na para bang batang nang iinsulto.
"No! In your dreams!" Padabog akong tumalikod sa kanya. Kumuha ng tissue at pinunasan ang mukha ko.
I was busy wiping my face when he suddenly hug me from the back and he lean his chin in my shoulder.
My heart's flutter for a second, there's butterflies in my stomach and I feel his warm breath in my hair.
"What are you doing? Baka may ibang pumasok sa opisina ko." Saway ko sa kanya pero mas lalo pa niyang hinigpitan ang yakap.
"I miss you Mlaire. I missed you so bad that I want to ruin the door. I want to apologise for my childish actions earlier." Andrew said, still hugging me from the back.
Nanlalamig ang mga kamay at tuhod ko dahil sa mga sinabi niya. Masasabi kong wala naman talagang rason para magselos ako.
"Ako dapat ang mag sorry sayo, Andrew. I judged you and I didn't wait for your explanation. I will never do it again, promise." Aniya ko. Kumawala ako sa mahigpit na yakap niya at tumingin sa mga mata nito habang nakataas ang kanang kamay ko, bilang pagpapatunay sa pangako ko.
"Don't do it again, Mlaire. I'm scared, for the second time I thought I'm gonna lose you. But, I will protect you as long as you're with me." Hinawakan niya ang mga kamay ko na para bang wala nang bukas dahil sa sobrang higpit.
"Yes. I'm sorry." I look down because of conscience. I wasted 30 days because of my jealousy. How childish I am.
"You promised me Mlaire, in the island that you were believe in me. That you were trust me, please keep it Mlaire because I cannot take it if I'll lose you again. Not again." Andrew said, assuring that I'll keep my promise to him.
"Yes. I promise you, Andrew." Mlaire told him, caress his cheeks and close her eyes.
"I'll protect you as long as you're with me. I'll protect you no matter what because I love you Mlaire. I love you so damn much." Andrew touch her hand, stared at her because she's the light and love of his life.
Andrew kiss her genuinely and he let Mlaire's hand place on his shoulder. He caress softly her waist while savoring the moment.
"Ma'am, magsisi-." Hindi na natapos ang sasabihin ng sekretarya ko ng mapagtantong may nangyayari sa loob ng opisina ko.
Napangiti ako ng makitang namumula si Andrew.
"You're blushing, I gotta go Andrew. See you later. I love you!" I told him and quickly kiss him.
Tawang tawa ang sekretarya ko habang paalis.
"Silly! I love you, Mlaire. See you later." Andrew hold my hand and we both walk towards to the conference room.
