Chapter 11: The Soul Stitching Technique
"Where are we?!!", asked Xiao Fei with a soft voice. She was looking around with worrisome look, they definitely out from the Heaven realm but she never been to another realm, thus she didn't know where the Dark Emperor had taken her.
"The Demon Upper Realm!!", answered the Dark Emperor shortly.
No wonder everything was so dark and barren.
Xiao Fei was still hugging the unconscious Ting while 'she' caught the Dark Emperor leering at 'her' with a handsome sneer.
In a flash, he threw 'her' the most beautiful spatial ring made she ever saw, it was created from the strongest magical stone and solemnly he said, " The heavenly beast could not survive in the demon realm, this ring is infused with my blood..., the spiritual fox would be able to cultivate inside the ring and advance in rank faster. Then it would be more helpful for you to keep it".
Xiao Fei placed the beautiful ring on top of her other spatial ring.
Then she kissed the little fox forehead and whispered, "Good-Bye, Ting"
Instantly, Ting body's entered the spatial realm.
Inside the spatial realm...
Ting was awakened right away by the fresh air and great formidable celestial aura twas recovering her wounded and tired body in a flash.

Xiao Fei compiled and in a blink of an eye, they teleported to a dark place. The Dark Emperor flicked his fingers to light up the torch in the room.

The secret room was illuminated by the immortal candles that would light up for eternity.
Then 'she' saw her...
She laid inside the ice coffin in the middle of the secret room.
The beautiful goddess in a red brocade Royal Phoenix robe...
The Dark Emperor was sitting on the ground next to the coffin while staring at the Royal goddess.
Xiao Fei felt a big heartache at the heartbreaking view in front of 'her'. At the moment, the Dark Emperor was no longer one of the most powerful deities in the three realms.

Xiao Fei had stood up and stayed away from the ice coffin with a blank expression.

The Dark Emperor didn't notice that she was responsible for the broken ice coffin, but she felt great guilt that the beautiful goddess body could no longer be preserved anymore because of her.
The Dark Emperor was unable to fix the cracks, in a blink of an eye, the ice coffin was broken into pieces and turned into a cool mist.
Xiao Fei was unable to hide her guilt any longer, 'her' conscious won't let it. 'She' got down on 'her' knees and bowed all the way to the ground until 'her' face almost kiss the floor. And trembling with great guilt but willing to redeem 'herself' for it, 'she' said loud enough to break the awkward silence, " My sincere apologies to the Dark Emperor! I am to blame for this tragic incident! I am willing to do anything to fix this bad situation!"
The Dark Emperor hisses with ferociously, " It's you!!! You gonna pay with your life for this!!!"
Within a second, the room was chilled with the Dark Emperor's murderous aura. The dark aura was building at a high speed while both of his hands were holding a dark sphere of power, ready for war...
"Dark Emperor!!! I have a solution!!!", shouted Xiao Fei nervously. Sweat was running down through 'her' temple. 'She' was never a cowardice character, but for reason unknown, she was afraid to make the Dark Emperor mad or unhappy, not only because 'she' didn't want to die yet, but also 'her' heart ached just at the slight thought of it.
The room temperature was back to normal and the Dark Emperor had calm himself to hear 'her' idea.
Holding 'her' breath for so long and release it in one go, she said plain and simple," I will give her my soul!!!"
"What?!!", the Dark Emperor was looking at Xiao Fei with disbelief. "Explain yourself!"
"Her body would turn rotten without the ice coffin! But if my soul entered her body, then this will solve the problem until we get another ice coffin to replace the broken one!"
Not bad.
The Merman idea is not bad at all.
However, to let another soul occupy his beloved body...
He didn't like the idea of another soul to dirty her sacred body. But what other choices he has?
The ice coffin was not easy to acquire. The last time, he was lucky to obtain it by chance.

Satisfied with 'his' proclamation, the Dark Emperor lifted the lifeless body of his beloved Goddess and placed her on the simple bed on the corner of the room. For 90 thousand years, that was the bed that he laid on when he was unable to evade tiredness from staying awake to watch her closely.
"Do you need any help from me?!", surprisingly, he asked gently.
"No need! However, you need to be away from my array perimeter! Mayhaps..., you could stay in the other room outside?!"
The Dark Emperor nodded and leave the secret room. For reason unknown to him, he trusted the merman with the body of his beloved woman. Also, he didn't correct the merman when he addressed him with 'you' not 'your highness' or 'Dark Emperor'. The closeness between them was awkward because it was like he knew 'him' more than his present life but he didn't felt connected to 'him'.
The present life of him loves the Merman, but his present life weak memory was locked deep inside his void mind, that way he could be indifferent and unfeeling toward 'him' without effort.
After all, who wanted to reminiscent of his present life forbidden love.
But...
He is in control now.
