Holding her close in between my arms was no less than a dream coming true for me. Especially knowing that it was her who had initiated this encounter. 

To me, it felt like all of my persistence from the past few days had paid off finally. And she was finally mine. 

Though nothing was set in stone yet for us, we were willing to take the risk for our sake. To achieve something, you have to sacrifice something. I was willing to sacrifice the peace of my mind just to have her with me. Selling my soul to the devil himself was something I was willing to do if it would earn me a couple of more minutes with her. 

But all of it made me wonder, what changed her mind. She was so against us being together even when the attraction between us was too obvious for us both. What made her look at things from a different perspective? 

I could only wait to quench my thirst later.
