I love how there is more than one book off of the original! I am a foodie so this of course is a pleasure to read for the food also! Mmm! I also enjoy seeing the obscure characters from the other two books take on a whole life & love of their own!
Honest Review This is definitely a hidden gem! It reminds me a bit of "Addicted to Curry" for some reason even though the setting isn't quite the same. The Good: The author does a very good job of making the characters believable. The setting is definitely something one rarely sees and a rare setting is hard to find! The Bad: Characters may be well thought out, but still tropes. Regardless, they are done well enough that they stand on their own. I like the setting, but I feel like the early chapters really stretched out the world building, but that's just me honestly, you can ignore that. The Neutral: Not my normal genre once again so I have a hard time getting absorbed into the story, I normally like longer chapters like this, but for stories that I have a hard time staying with I prefer short chapter. Personal preference, nothing good or bad so no stars gained or lost for it.
I keep thinking every book of this amazing author is top notch but this truly might be one of my favs!! I love how determined our FL is and she truly is the perfect match for the moody, short tempered ML. Oddly enough though they have had vastly different upbringing their values and work ethics at e the same and they seem to gel so well. I hope their romance will be as sweet and fiery as their personalitiesππ
