Chapter 246: A Rose

It felt as if something had struck her chest.

It hasn't been long since she managed to calm down. But now, her heart was beating fast again. 

At this rate, Gu Xin Ye began to worry that she might develop a heart problem.

Gu Xin Ye did not dare to look at Qin Zhan again. She felt as if he would tease her if she looked at him. Gu Xin Ye waited for a brief second. A breath of relief escaped her when Qin Zhan was not teasing her.

"There are still a few steps left," Qin Zhan spoke. "Come over here."

"There are still more?" Gu Xin Ye eyed the cake on the small plate. She felt that the cake looked quite good now. 

"Mmm... The final step is to put on some decoration." Qin Zhan smiled. He filled a piping bag with some cream and waited until Gu Xin Ye came closer to his side. "You have to look carefully."

"Un." Gu Xin Ye nodded.
