It's the middle of February. The cave has slowly been getting colder, mainly because of Albanian weather. I noticed that Omoro was busy decorating a room. No one was allowed in, but at the same time no one knew where she was getting everything to decorate it. I saw strips of red ribbon and a few white faux fur pieces, but I dismissed it. That is until she called me inside the room on Valentine's Day. It was set up like a huge room for a couple. Almost like she had planned something to happen. Turning around to ask her what was going on, I realized her plan. I was not used to any of what she planned, and my face definitely showed it. "Venus, why must you torment me?" I muttered.
Omoro heard it, and I realized how I sounded. She had been busy getting everything ready for a day just to ourselves. A day where she could show her love, and I just said something so inconsiderate. We both knew enough about our past to know not to trust any memories. I sat her down. I decided it would be best to speak with her rather than try anything. As she sat next to me, I told her about my past. I told her how I had always been a loner. That any form of interaction that she planned would likely end badly for us both.
Once I was done, she didn't look mad. Instead, she kissed me. Her eyes were bright. Not with flames, but with pride. She was holding onto me as she simply said, "This is why I love you. Not because of anything other than you being good at heart and open. Even though you were a loner, you continue to help and even let others know exactly why you do something. You have never given up on me. Not even when I was gone."
She kissed me one more time, and looked around. "Can you help me undo everything I did? It would take me weeks to do it alone."
I held her hand as I summoned my blade. With Interitus held high, the room returned to its original state. I saw a full month of work she had done. And as it finished, the others were at the door. The girls holding back the guys. Bill laughing hysterically. And the rest of the guys being a bit too crazy for Omoro. Only one guy wasn't. Apparently our Legacy of Mercury had found his own love. He wasn't focusing on Omoro, but he was focused on Skylar. He looked how I felt, so I knew he wasn't going to try anything anytime soon. Maybe, it was better that way, for all of us.
