Chapter 3: Tails's Origin: Before and After
The United States wasn't taken over when Tail's was a college student at the UW. He was at the top of his class, he got straight A's on every assignment, and he had a girlfriend. His parents were professors in Biology and Technology class. They were proud of Tails's progress that he made. But little did he realize that sometimes all may seem what it might be seem. In Washington DC, the president rose to power and swore to be president to protect and serve but, he realize he could have more. After the ceremony, he called his secretary Hank and told him to ready the Army and Air Force. With all plan, his plan was to conquer the United States and enslave everyone. Meanwhile in Biology class, Tails and Cream were dissecting frogs. Cream held a scalpel in her hand and warned her,
Tails: Whoa cream, hang on. Working with scalpels can be very dangerous and lead to death if not handled right. This is why you always have a partner to help.
Cream: Oh okay. *Blushes* Will you help me Mr. Tails? It's my first time dissecting animals.
Tails: Sure. *Blushes as his hand touches Cream's*
As they both handled the scalpel, they saw the time and class was dismissed. As lunch started, Cream sat with Tails and his girlfriend Velma. They were both talking about physics and other things until cream told them how her day was. Tails didn't want cream to feel jealous, so he asked her kindly to go and get Tails a bottle of water from the soda machine.
Tails: Velma, dear, I know what you're going to say and you're not going to like this but, Cream is my best friend since kindergarten. And I wouldn't want to make her mad, sad, or anything.
Velma: Well here Tails. *Passes a magazine of glasses choice* Pick out a new look.
Tails: What's wrong with my glasses?
Velma: You have to care about your look.
Tails: But I like the way I look.
Velma: You've wore them since the eighth grade.
Tails: But my dad picked out these glasses.
Velma: *Sigh* Fine, I'll pick them myself. *Kisses Tails's forehead*
Tails: Girlfriends, you love them, but they give you a clear auora that you can't pick up.
Later, in Washington DC, the president has gotten his Air Force up int he air and flying straight to Seattle Washington. Their objective, destroy all historical land sites and take over Seattle Washington. Meanwhile, back in UW, Tails has picked out his new glasses and read the ten steps to read your girlfriend's signals.
Velma: *Spooks Tails* Gotcha. *Giggling*
Tails: *Relieved* Velma, you scared me. But that was funny. *Laughing*
Cream: *Jealous*
Tails: Hey, guess what I won last period? *Pulls out tickets* Two tickets to your favorite boy band. One Direction.
Velma: Really? *Hugs Tails* Oh Tails, we're going to have a wonderful time.
Tails: But here's the thing. I have one extra ticket to spare and I was hoping that cream can come with us.
Velma: Um, sure. She can come.
Tails: Great! I'll go give her her ticket. I'll pick us all up at your place. *Kisses Velma* Love you sweetie.
Tails runs over to cream and hands her the ticket to One Direction and cream blushed with Glee that she'll be going with Tails but not to excited that Velma is joining. At the concert, Velma went wild with the boys singing and bobbed her hair to the music. Cream was just having fun and she felt like it was time to tell her that she has feelings for Tails.
Cream: Mr. Tails?
Tails: Yeah Cream? What's up? Don't you like One Direction?
Cream: Yeah but, there's something that I need to tell you.
Tails: Well, what is it?
Cream: For a long time, we've always been together since kindergarten and I wanted to say that, I li-
Before cream could finish her sentence, they heard a loud boom from beyond the stage. Everyone wondered what that sound was and they knew that something's wrong. Suddenly, gun shots were fired all over the place, bombs were dropped from the sky and made large craters in the streets, seat teams rounded up and packed all the people into their trucks and locked them in with cuffs on their hands. A huge cloud of ash covered sunlight in Washington, like a giant blanket and it sank down to earth. The clouds were thick that it was getting harder and harder for anyone to breathe. Tails, Cream, and Velma covered their mouths to avoid the smoke and others died where they stood. One Direction died on stage by the weight on the whole stage collapsing under them. The only thing a few survivors saw was a flag, marked with red, white and blue. The president stepped forth and gave out an announcement.
President Elmo: Everyone of Seattle Washington, no need to fear, your new leader is here. And it's me.
Tails, Cream, and Velma were scared, their hearts raced and it sunk down. They didn't know what to do. While people were being rounded up, the president went to UW and told the squadron to blow the University up with everyone inside, including Tails's parents. The bombs were dropped and the college blew up. A thick white glow shined so far across the sea and it shined brightly as the sun. Many people inside were burned alive, others, suffered severe third degree burns, radiation, and death. Tails got down on his knees and mourned the loss of his dead parents as he saw the nurses and ER people take them to the morgue. The president laughed as he brought out the governments new invention to turn everyone into slaves. The Roboticizer. If used, the victims crawls in and gets turned into a robot.
Hank: Okay fellas, looks like we have fresh meat to Roboticize.
Tails: You sneak! You killed my parents! When I break out of this chain you're going to be very sorry you did this!
Hank: Don't worry cub, the president doesn't want to Roboticize you or your rabbit friend. Bring the prisoner with the orange sweater and the red skirt here.
One of the SWAT officers brought Velma onto the platform of the Roboticizer and then activated the dangerous contraption.
Tails: *Mourning* Velma! Velma no!
Tails couldn't do anything, Velma was beginning to be turned from the girl he dated for a long time into a piece of living metal. Cream found a way to unlock her cabins and get Tails free. When she broke him out, Tails could only watch in horror that her girlfriend is now a robot. Cream felt bad for Tails and dragged him out before Hank and the officers knew they escaped. The only way out, was through the sewer and the harbor where the boats are. With the whole place guarded with SWAT teams, they sneaked pass them and got to the boat they need to go on. Tails remembered the advice his parents gave if ever they were invaded, their last words were:
Mrs. Prower: If someone ever tries to invade us Tails, use the boat on the right side of the harbor and sail straight to the sandwich islands.
Tails: *Remembered* Cream, this way, the boats over here. *Takes Cream's hand*
Cream: *Blushing red* Where are w-we going Mr. Tails?
Tails: We have to go to the sandwich islands. They are the only one that could help.
Tails got in the boat and took Cream with him. He untied the rope that was on the dock and they both sailed away to the only place where the president can't reach or find.
Months passed. Seasons came and went. The invasion of the United States was complete. Every country in the US had been destroyed, and the new monument to the president has been standing at its highest peak. Though life in the US was bleak, the people themselves were no better off. With the exception of the government. And their supreme president, Elmo. His three branches of government has ever kid in the schools around America believe that everyone is equal. But in the Pacific Ocean, Tails and cream were about to wake up to the most beautiful sight they haven't seen in months. In the distance, the saw a shore. Not any shore, a shore that had coconut trees, clear water, waterfalls and flourished life that hasn't been touched, harmed or destroyed.
