Chapter 40: Freakish Effect of Potion
Instead of drawing, he can carve the symbol on the cauldron. But he didn't own the cauldron or any other equipment so, the best way is to draw the symbol and erase it later.
To draw an inscription symbol, one needs various soul drawing tools. Of course, Gin doesn't have any, so he can only use the crudest way; drawing the symbol using his index finger.
It's a primitive style, but it's more than enough for making simple potions.
Without wasting any time, Gin concentrated the soul energy in his index finger and began to draw.

Gin meticulously followed every step and it took Gin one and half an hour to make his first potion. Thanks to the 'Imprison' inscription symbol, he doesn't have to worry about anything.
To Gin, it just felt like cooking a curry; Add the ingredients, seal the lid, and wait for a few minutes, it will be ready.
When Gin opened the lid of the cauldron, he was assaulted by a foul smell. Inside the cauldron, he saw a darkish sticky liquid, coupled with some impure things.

After several stages of cleansing, the liquid finally looked clear and translucent ‒ with no impurities.
It's not the end, now he has to dilute the liquid with a large amount of the clear fountain water. Only then, it's drinkable by others.
If someone drinks the liquid before diluting, they will be heavily injured or may even die, because of the concentrated amount of essence energy and medicines present in it.
After diluting the liquid, he got 30 bottles of Physique Strengthening potions stored in small vials, which may hold 20-30 drops of liquid.
Gin excitedly looked at the 30 potions as every single vial may fetch for 10,000 Ranker credits or 100 elemental stones. If he sells it in a black market, the price may even go higher.
A normal 'Body strengthening' potion cost 8,000 - 10,000 Ranker credits since his potions are superior in quality, it may even fetch for a higher price.
The cost of producing the 30 potions was also very high. Even though every herbs and material were brought to him by Dean Alfin, he also looked into the costs.
A single magical beast core may cost around 5000 Ranker credits while the other herbs and material may take 5000 Ranker credits.
With just 10,000 Ranker credits, he created potions worth 3,00,000. Even though he can't sell everything as he needs some for himself.
Gin planned to sell 10 bottles worth 1,00,000 Ranker credits, with that he will be able to buy sufficient materials required for producing more potions.
Eager to test the effects, Gin swiftly gulped the liquid from one vial and circulated his breathing method.
The potion tasted little bitter and sour, while Gin thought it would at least taste a little sweet. Well, he didn't vomit so it's okay.
Before the potion could reach his stomach, it vaporized and transformed into pure energy. The pure energy surged through his entire body, strengthening his bones and muscles.
The effect is instantaneous, as Gin could feel his strength increasing at a rapid pace. It can be said in one word, freakish.
Within a few minutes, Gin discovered another white barrier appearing in his spine region. It's his seventh hidden Physique Seal!!
The effect of the potion prevailed for another few minutes, before disappearing completely.
Gin knows just because he discovered another hidden seal, it doesn't mean he can continue to drink more potions, hoping to uncover more hidden seals.
If he does that, it will only ruin his body from the inside. Potions like this are meant to be taken at a crucial time when you feel bottle-neck or if you feel any breakthrough.
Gin had the feeling he's going to discover his next hidden seal, that's why he used it.
He stored 15 bottles inside his magical space for personal use and left with the remaining 14 potions to meet Dean Alfin.

Dean Alfin was at a loss for words, gazing at the dark blue potion in his hand. It's only been a day, but Gin already developed a potion; he couldn't believe it.
"Y-you are not deceiving me, right?" Dean asked with broken words.
"No, Dean. The potion is authentic. You can test the effects if you don't believe me."
The truth is, Alfin didn't believe that Gin can make a potion within a day. Only after innumerable analysis, experiments and trails, a potion recipe is made.
The only way Dean Alfin could think is, Gin got a potion recipe that has already developed and perfected. But, a perfected potion recipe is far more valuable than one could imagine.
Only some esteemed potion-masters may own them. There's no way in hell that such masters will give their recipe to Gin.
Dean Alfin has countless questions to ask Gin, but he thought now's not the right time. First, he has to test the effects of this potion.
"Ok then, let's test the effect. What is the best way to witness its maximum effect?"
"You can test it on Physique Enrichment stage practitioners if possible someone who wasn't able to achieve a breakthrough for a long time," Gin thought for a while and replied.
"Ok, I have a perfect candidate that meets your requirement." Dean smiled and called Zev, the youngest of three brothers.
"Apart from Zev, Nyd and Klin have already broken through the Seal Opening stage. But, Zev got struck in the Peak peak physique Enrichment stage for some time."
"If the effect of the potion is as you described, it should help him."
Within a few minutes, Zev appeared but, Nyd and Klin also accompanied him. Observing the three of them, Dean Alfin rubbed his head in vexation.
"Dean, you called Zev, why didn't you call us too?" Klin spoke.
Before the three of them could start their argument, Dean glared and reprimanded: "Shut up and stand to the side. Zev, you come forward."
"Here, drink this potion and circulate your breathing technique. It will assist you in a breakthrough." Dean Alfin explained.
Gin discerned the three people's strength with a glance; Nyd and Klin have already 'opened' one hidden seal, while Zev was still in the physique Enrichment stage with 9 hidden seals uncovered.
Zev eagerly accepted the potion and emptied it in one gulp. Soon, a surprised expression is evident on his face as he began to circulate his breathing technique.
Silence prevailed the room even the usually noisy Nyd and Klin kept their mouth sealed. After 10 or so minutes, Zev ceased his practice and opened his eyes, bewildered.
"How was the effect?" Dean Alfin promptly asked. "Did you achieve a breakthrough?"
Zev scratched his head in puzzlement, "Dean, I didn't achieve a breakthrough to Seal Opening stage."
"But, I think I discovered another hidden seal in my body!" Zev revealed.
"What?!" Everyone in the room exclaimed at the same time. Even Gin didn't expect this outcome.
Dean Alfin swiftly appeared before Zev and examined using his essence energy. "It's true!"
"He really uncovered his 10th hidden seal! But how?" Dean mumbled, confused about the whole situation.
"Gin, explain. A normal potion can't bring such a miraculous effect." Dean Alfin asked, restraining his agitated emotions.
Gin didn't expect that the situation would take such a turn. He rather embarrassingly replied, "Dean, this potion recipe is something I got accidentally, so even I didn't expect it would bring such effects."
'Accidentally? why didn't I encounter such an accident in my life?' Dean murmured.
He didn't believe what Gin said and at the same time, he also doesn't want to question him. Every person will have their own secret.
If a word gets outs that Heaven fall academy has such a miraculous potion, he couldn't imagine the consequences and the bloodshed it would bring.
The academy already suffered once, he doesn't want it to happen again. But, after Gin enrolled in the academy everything seems to change.
He doesn't know whether it's good or bad, only time can tell.
"You three can go but, you shouldn't tell a single soul about what you witnessed here. Understood?" Dean Alfin spoke in a strict tone.
The three brothers bobbed their heads like chickens and swiftly fled, leaving Gin and Dean alone in the room.
"Gin, I think the effect of the potion is too high. We have to dilute it some more so that some extremely powerful peoples won't come looking for us."
Gin also understood the gravity of the situation, so he helped Dean Alfin to dilute the potion once more. In the end, 13 potions become 20.
After that, Gin and Dean Alfin discussed the price point and set the target at 11,000 Ranker credits.
Dean Alfin agreed to sell the potions using his contacts for Gin, while he kept aside a few bottles for the academy use.
"Don't tell anyone about the potions, not even to the students of our academy. If you want to sell, look for me. Don't do it on your own." Dean Alfin instructed while Gin agreed.
