Chapter 11: New Beginnings

Slowly the darkness fades, I try to open my mouth to talk but I couldn't I just gurgled, huh? I gurgled, what the fuck? Opening my eyes I can't see much everything is hazy and blurry, no no I can't be blind I open and close my eyes blinking rapidly I still can't see very well, god damn it now I cant even go back to work. I take a deep breath but it doesn't feel right now that think about it nothing feels right. What in the world is going on, that same moment a face appeared in my vision. It was a young women look around 24 maybe 25 she had dark hair and brown eyes a kind face and eyes. The eyes that I'd only seen once in my life from my mom, the panic that had begun to set it immediately disappeared giving me a feeling of peace that I'd longed for two decades since my own mother had died. I tried to say hi but only a little baby coo popped out of my mouth. Her face lit up and her smiled widened ahhhh the rest I didn't understand as it wasn't any sort of language I could recognize but the tone was enduring and happy which made me smile more which in turn made her smile more.
