Chapter 40: Leaving camille island surprised!!

I walked by skull sliders cliff I remember the last time I was there I thought to myself. I climbed down it remembering the hidden treasure me and Cate hid here. we stole both are dad's tooth brushes and they were confused for days about the whereabouts of there brushes. I smile looking down at them hidden in a small chest along with a couple pictures and a couple of Cate and my medals from the academy. things like miss bumble bee the Schools award for winning the spelling bee. a picture of Cate making her warriors go on a goose chase on the far side of the island when we were a bit older. We used to come down here all the time even untill we were gone to the city even when it was such a dangerous spot. I smiled one last time asking my Phoenix to come here real quick she pooped out of no we're in a blaze of flames. I asked for one of her feathers and she shaked back and forth letting her burning wings shed a couple feathers. One fell into my hand and it was super hot and almost burned me " carful blaze" I laughed. she poofed away. After the feather cooled down I put it in the box. After that I got up walking away and walking alongside the alleyway to the coast. I walked across the hot sand, that gradually got colder the closer to the waves and the closer to the place were the water meets land. I stood by the water as the calming tide came in. The water rushed in and out at a consistent pace and I breathed in the fresh air. "Goodbye for now" I whispered before heading back.
