Chapter 33: My family and friends mean so much to me
. I finally discovered my spirit animal and been here for a month or to now. I should probably be heading back soon. I decide I would be heading back tommorow after lunch, so I had a bit more time with my family. I go down for breakfast and tell them the departure. My mom drops her spoon and a tear rolls down my fathers face.
I stand up and go to my mom and wipe of her face asking her what's wrong. she tells me its nothing, explaining that I've been her so long that they started to forget I was going to leave eventually. My parents cared for me so much. sometimes I almost don't leave, I wish I could just stay on the island for the rest of my life but that cant be the life for a warrior.
Maybe one day I'll retire my position and live the rest of my life as a queen who protects camille island. I cant think about that now though because I have to save my future before I can live it. My parents collect themselves before they get the bright idea to go to the beach. You would not expect to see royalty at the beach or out of the palace much at all but camille island is very chill.
We spend hours at the beach and enjoy are rime together. As I think back I remember I used to hate visiting camille island. I was very closed off and didn't like being a princess. Now I could never imagine going back to how I was before. All my friends and family have been there every step of the way and they are my strength. I couldn't live without them.
I'm heading back with my family when I remember I have to tell master to. I tell my parents to go back without me and smile as I skip away. I open the dojo door and see if master is still there and smile when I see shes in her office. I run up to her and start to tell her about my day and how im leaving. I also told her how much I appreciate her and I told her I'll miss her. When suddenly something did not feel right.
The witch was taking over... not now. Master sky notices something is wrong and stops talking. I stand up and push my chair back and start to walk away with the little control I have left. It was to late though I could not escape her, I LOST CONTROL.
