Chapter 26: A day to calm down
I'm taken to the bottom of the castle in the court. By now the whole palace is on lock down and the king is mad. Were surrounded by many guards ready to kill my kidnapper. My mother and father are there behind the guards ready to take action.
My mother is crying a bit but my father looks like he's about to kill someone.
I decide I needed to get free so I wiggled my hand free to grab a knife from his pocket and stab his arm and make it go deep. He drops me to the ground and I winced all the pain from training today all the bruising from the light beams I felt like a weak human I felt broken. He punched me in my face out of anger and my nose began to bleed aggressively. I was almost unconscious when he started picking me up again. but the guards got to us making him decide to retreat, he dropped me and went in a scurry and hid.
When the Guards untie me and I'm free my mom and dad come rushing towards me. They hug me and I start to cry tears of relief and lay there for a while in both there arms. I could have been taken to the dark magic Lord or even worse I could have died not living to see tommorow.
The reason why I was so upset and scared is because I was completely useless I could not even protect myself at the time. That is what scared me most. Th healers came getting rid of all my pain out they could not get rid of my mental uneasiness.
I was escorted to my room by five guards and they stayed outside my room the whole night. One of them even came into my room. It was a girl so it was fine but still a bit uncomfortable. I could not really sleep well either but I still managed. I woke up very late the next morning and just laid in bed and read a book for hours.
It was around 3 pm when I left my room. I got food and ate still feeling uncomfortable. I had my powers back at least so I don't know why I need this many with me 24/7. When I left the castle for a walk I had not only five but ten people surrounding me I could not even enjoy myself.
After a while I headed back and lay down in my bed again. I was still a tad bit scared so I guess the guards are too. The next two to three days are spent like this. It was very boring but I guess it was the best thing to do lie low. I'll be fine tomorrow. If anything comes to find me again I'll be ready.
