Chapter 42: call of celestial energy
. The next day I wake up stretching still a bit sore from the jet ride back. Yesterday I found out my mom was pregnant and my best friend has a boyfriend now who has been living with her off and on in are house. We have a couple spare rooms so she made the decision to let him live here on her own. I feel like I've missed so much and its a bit upsetting and unsettling. I have waisted so much of my life now just trying to get rid of this stupid curse.
A tear roles down my eye thinking about it all. I hear a nock at my bedroom door and quickly wipe my eyes before I say come in. Cate sees my eyes are a bit red and asks what's wrong. I smile at her reassuringly telling her I'm fine just tired before she tells me that her and Patrick are going on there morning jog. I lay back down and tell her to have fun. I roll to my side and look out the window as I think for a while.
I then remember being told how long I have left and pull myself out of bed to train. I focus in and try to harness something from the witch and I think of a spell. The calling of the celestial energy or calling of the infinite universe, That sounds fun.
I clean my room and I turn off the lights and grab incents that have the smell of nature. Thinking about the night sky and the vastness of the outer space. I feel a draft air sweep into my room like fog. I felt light as if I was not held down by gravity and I felt it get colder and my eyes no longer saw light from the outside of my eyelids as I meditated. Suddenly stars shoot out from inside me making the room look the the galaxy's and stars in the universe. This was a very beautiful once in a life time moment. It felt awakening and rejuvenating. My eyes saw things a tad bit different now. But then I heard the phone ring and the lights faded into nothing but dust. I quickly went to grab the phone and picked it up. It was a spam caller but it still startled me.
