Chapter 21: Making a scene
. I decide to take some time away from home and go visit my family again. It's been a while my dad and mom probably misses me a lot. I call the royal pilate to pick me up and fly to camille island. When I get there my father somehow new I was there immediately because he's made a whole deal of it like last time. He told the whole capital city about it and the castle was crouded. Yay guess its party time... exactly what I needed. Distraction was not what I wanted right now I don't have much time left. My mom came to check up on me and we talked for a bit but then my father found us.
My dad grabs me and raps me up in a big hug squeezing me tight, welcoming me back home. I smile and followed him around greeting everyone like a princess should. Once I'm done talking to everyone I'm exhausted but my dad ask me to join him in the royal debate with the nobles and I sigh loudly.
My dad notices and ask what's wrong. I yell at him in front of everyone "I just got here I'm tired but you don't even think for a moment that maybe I don't want to celebrate over something so simple". I storm out of the room awkwardly because I know everyone was shocked and confused about what just happened. I should not have done that it was so uncalled for. I go to my room and read a book but by now its already late and time for bed. I lay in bed feeling extremely guilty so I sigh and get out of my bed.
Leaving my room and head to my fathers room. I nock on the door after hesitating for a while. My father ask who it is and when he hears my voice he seems to have a mood change towards the wrong direction. This talk was going to be hard, I can already tell. I ask if I can come in and he allows me to so that's a good thing. there's a tense vibe in the air and its making my guilt rip my gut to shreds. He leads me to the couch and we sit down next to each other. We both try to speak but he lets me speak and I say the most sincere heart felt apology I've said in a long time.
He looks surprised but he smiles and gives me a hug, he says that he was in the wrong to and I should not be so hard on myself because were not perfect creatures. The air lightened up a bit and are moods got a bit more positive so we had a good father daughter talk and caught up on all the lost time. The night ended on a good note and that was the best thing to happen in a while.
