Chapter 19: A cooking witch
. After the eye opening experience I had in the cave of memories I decide I should start my first bit of witch training in the safety of my own home. I decided to start cooking, not in the usual way though. I thought a cake would be fun and simple enough. I take out a cookbook and read the ingredients. I think about the things I need and swish my hand around to see if I can create the ingredients. Butter, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract , and milk.
I swish my hands around and focus and the ingredients start to come together. I pull a whisk out and toss it above the bowl and it starts to mix. Surprisingly this was kinda neat and relaxing. I let all of that mix and pulled out pans for the cake to bake in and it Poor's evenly and perfectly. I then pre heat the oven and pop it in. I start a timer and decide to go to the store and get some frosting.
I entered the schnucks and tried to get in and out as quick as I could and got home just in time. I pulled it out and set it on the counter and grabbed a spreader and opened the icing containers. I spun my hands around and the frosting started to spread itself on the cake looking perfect like it was done by a professional.
After I cleaned up and let my cake settle I looked at my beautiful master peace and I was so caught in the moment and so proud of myself that when my cellphone rang I suddenly got thrown off and a beam of electricity shot at the cake. the cake blew up in my face, cake splattering everywhere no a inch of the kitchen unscathed. I looked around at the mess and sighed. I got a bit of the cake off of me before answering. I take off my aprin and set it on the and picked up the phone.
It was cate and Patrick they met at there work. Yes somehow they work in the same company. She invited him to go to the beach with us this weekend and I talked to her for a moment before looking at the mess again. I told her I got to go and hung up. After that I cleaned up the mess I created witch took forever. That was the end of my first time trying to use the witches abilities and yes it blew up in my face.
